Thank you for your video. I was station at KMCAS 89-93. I was a rifle instructor and helped Marines qualify with their M16A2. My MOS was 0331, M60 machine-gunner. Also stationed in the Persian Gulf Vet, Okinawa, Philippines, boot camp at MCRD San Diego, training at Camp Pendleton for Infantry.
Aside from a few more static display aircraft, it still looks the same from when I was there from 93-96, but my unit isn't there any longer, I was with B Co 7th Comm....
KMCAS is unrecognizable from 54 years ago. I was 8yo way back when. Exploring Kaluapuhi Pond which was just down from our house, wandering the base, except for the flight line

I remember driving out to that base in 1990 and parked by a runway and watched an F4 Phantom, was really cool. Such a beautiful side of the island.
