Hi Kevin I love your channel l have just subscribed today. I don't know why I didn't before as l have enjoyed a lot of your videos. It looked a lovely place where you showed us around. Thanks for posting.
Beautiful location,, I reckon there, was once a Roman garrison/fort and the remains you see toady are the remnants of that, and have used the materials to make walls etc, Romans’ had signal stations/ look out points up and down the northern coastline. Now then that breakfast looks scrumptious, fried bread my fav 😜
Thanks Rose and I did read something about the Romans but didn’t give much thought to the remains but I think your right and yes the breakfast was on the money and I agree the fried bread made it
Except it's not Raven Hall anymore. It's been sold and the new owners have changed the name to Grand Villa Heights, sounds like something from faulty towers and the artists impressions of what they're planning to do to the place are vile. Such a shame cz I got married at Raven Hall just a few months ago and loved it for it's rustic charm which it won't have after the so called improvements ☹️
Hi Shelley thanks for your comments and yes your right I saw some promo material in there and it will detract from what it now has , anyway I hope you liked my little tour around the grounds etc I tried to get in there as a wedding videographer a few years back but they said they had there own resident guy which I was gutted about as I would have loved to film some weddings there anyway thanks once again it’s appreciated.

Bram Stoker was writing Dracula when he stayed there,it's very sad that the new owners have changed the name, which sounds like an American film😢
"grand villa heights"

The fact that Dracula was written when Bram Stoker stayed at Raven Hall Hotel,is completely overlooked by the new owners😢
