    Hey firefighter here. I would switch out the hammer punch and seatbelt cutter for a hole punch and serrated knife setup. Those all in one tools are terrible and never work due to leverage. Saw a bunch fail in training and real incidents.

      Good to know… I actually have been wanting to get several options and test them in a video… I just never have windows to break

      I second this, check out the Resque me stuff, use the small window punch for windows, their hammer is one of the good ones out there. The BattlBox crew put out a few videos on this subject, the orange ones failed multiple times. The Resque branded products performed very well.

      @@sectorresearch3941 I carry the Resque Me punches in all my vehicles, they are so small they easily attach to the visor so you can easily get to them.

      I literally came to the comments to say this. People using the hammer tend to over swing and cut themselves up. The resqme tool is great, used it to break of lot of windows and cut a lot of seatbelts since they came out.

    Couldn’t agree more on the battery jumper. The battery on my f150 was getting old, went out camping near arrow rock reservoir with the family and a door got left open. Next day truck wouldn’t start, luckily we had some friendly neighbors close by to help out. When I saw the sale on the Noco ones I had get it. Great video, solid gear.

      Dead batteries in those situations can kinda bring on some momentary panic… glad you got a backup now… if you would have been stuck up there long enough I would have seen you 🙌

    I really don't know how anyone can justify Snapon and other tool trucks with brands like Tekton, Gearwrench, Sonic, Icon, Wiha, Wera, etc out there. I've used them all and there is no way Snapon is worth double, triple or more what those other brands cost.

    • @ADVlife287
      @ADVlife287 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I worked in a shop years ago.. snap on makes fantastic products but they are based on convenience. Techs would walk out to the truck, warranty swap a wrench etc and walk back in and get back to work. They didn’t have to drive to the hardware store after work and can setup financing plans. It’s a convenience/quality that justifies the tool price. I love snap on but use a lot of husky & craftsman haha

    I had to return my Anker c1000. At least Anker stood buy their product and let me send it back after 3 replacements.
    Won’t be back.
    If it worked as promised it would have been good…
    …but the 12v outlet is weak.

      @AbsoluteTU หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OutdoorAuto good to hear. Mine would power off and not turn back on (tried every button hold press combo I could think of…and tech support confirmed it should have been a simple 3 second hold)
      Like I said, Anker was great in a crappy situation. They sent a replacement for the booster battery etc before just refunding and taking the system back).
      But after 3 trips in a row with something different going wrong each time…I gave up and I’ll build a traditional Lithium battery into the rig. (I’m sure it was just a dud as it never actually worked right but I lost faith in it and don’t want to keep swapping them out). I doubt I drive on rougher stuff than you do…but it does get pretty bumpy sometimes…?
      I’d give Anker 5 stars for their customer service though.

    What made you choose the Fantik over a Smittybuilt or ARB "regular" compressor?

    • @OutdoorAuto
      @OutdoorAuto  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I have a couple ARB's in vehicles... the fanntik is just the shop "grab & go" compressor... I have 20 vehicles on teh property at the moment... I am always out in fields moving stuff around with flat tires... it is the easiest air solution I have ever had for those jobs. I have used it on vehicles that we off-road that don't have onboard air yet.

      @OutdoorAuto  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Jason-ms4gb absolutely, sorry it wasn’t clearer in the video. Both my full time off-road rigs run Dual ARB compressors that run the lockers and also handle air up and down.
