    Hi, as the author of Beyond Corny Groń I wanted to thank for this kind review and recommendation! :) The book was written in English, and Polish edition came later on (we are printing PL book as we speak), so I'm really glad you'd enjoyed writing done by non-native speaker (surely thanks to a great editor!). The inclusion of Hungarian vibes comes from the fact that Polish part of Carpathian Mountains was always a crucible of cultures from lands surrounding it. With many Hungarian and Romanian / Wallachian influences, local folklore, dialect, customs etc. are very unique, even in comparison to other Polish regions.

    These all look great, the woodcut art style of Corny Gron is great. These are all going on my wishlist.

    Yoon-Suin is fantastic! I ran it for four years and we had such a great time. What you say is really true though: It's a book for prepping. But it makes prepping so much fun and exciting! Not to mention the sessions! :)

    Miklagard sounds cool, but that Cornygron setting is pretty amazing. If I have the $$$ after all the other things I've yet to purchase on my ever-growing list inspired, these days, largely by Red Mage. 😊: take a bow. Lol

    Yoon Suin looks pretty good also. You could (perhaps) put them all in the same world, with enough physical distance between them so that you could keep direct refences to each vague and mysterious, rather like The Far East during Marco Polo's time. Another great review, RedMage

    • @RedMageGM
      @RedMageGM  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Definitely - I think that I'm going to casually throw in Yoon-Suin references into my worlds as something "away out there somewhere".

    Worth noting that the Carpathian Mountains run through northern and central Romania and encompass several ranges throughout the country, meaning that Beyond Corny Gron is an amazing pickup if you want to add a little more historic culture-centric influence to any game set in Barovia.

    • @RedMageGM
      @RedMageGM  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      I was thinking of that very thing! If I ever return to the world of my Legacy of Strahd game, I'll add in Corny Gron for sure!

    Corny Gron. Reluctantly skipped the Kickstarter. Didn't expect to come across a physical copy later in a game store. Worthy purchase.

      Not that it helps, but my copy was from Runehammer Games' brick-and-mortar store. They focus on indie ttrpgs instead of the 5E cash cow. The store gets shipments from Exalted Press, but Corny Gron may have been a fluke. I'll ask next time I'm there. You never know....

    The physical book of Beyond Corny Groń is quite nice. Clothe-bound cover, 3 ribbons (grey, gold, and black), cream color pages, and cool contrast in the greys of the fonts with the bold/black art. Of course, it's a little pricey for all those features, and it presumably ships from Poland.

    • @RedMageGM
