Updates since this video is made- su75 design is changed now fins and tails are joined(looks like 6th gen) and al51(izdeliye 30) engine has passed all tests(November 2023) with no issues found😄

We should make it clear to Russia that untill unless it finds some suitable solution to its war with ukraine there is no point in entering into any kind of new defence partnership with Russia because Russia 's entire military-industrial complex is focussed and geared up towards meeting its war requirements with ukraine any new defence partnership with Russia would most likely end up being in an dysfunctional state which even at the best of times faced problems.

India should try to get Su 57 or 75 at dirt cheap price and full ToT because no sizeable nation is going to be with Russia in arms deals, this is our opportunity 🎉
More like Su75 will induct earlier then our AMCA. And we are also speculating with our own 5th gen program so we do not have right to mock Su57. It is better to buy 36 Su57 and 36 Su75 as stop gap it will give us hige breathing space for development of upcoming fighter projects
Su-75 will be a bare bones 🦴 plane. Russia itself has no plans to buy it as it is a single engine aircraft.

Western 4.5th gen jets have better 5th gen features like Supercruise, LPI AESA radar, full spectrum integrated EW suite and sensor fusion than any 5th gen Russian or Chinese jets.

Only AMCA will be considered in MRFA competition
Seeing the condition of Tejas mk2 & AMCA program It seems that we need to continue with partnering with Russia on thi su-75 program because by 2030 Pakistan is gonaa start receiving J-31 by China , China is not India they dont delay the projects like these but even prepone the delivery. Just for moral victory & on paper matching the enemies we had to go for this project but we need to have control over manufacturing of these aircraft with maximum indigenous tech & TOT which we can even use in nour Tejas or AMCA because I am ready to sign on blank paper if HAL will finish the project on the dedline they gave few days back. To maintain the depleting squadrons we can continue with obtaining few squadrons of Su-75 which should be India specific like Su30MKI right from the start of manufacturing but if Russia says that they'll manufacture the aircrafts in russia only & then export them to India like S-400 then it should be a big no because we'll be crying for underpowered engine like su-30 & Mig-29 they should establish a plant for manufacturing majority of engines for the aircraft & if possible integrate Indian systems on it. The price they're telling is impossiible if the price would be even $70Billion we can go for it but Russia need to sign that the cost won't be increased like INS vikramaditya

TEJAS MK-2 is close to SU-75, if both will come at almost same time with similar strengths then there is no sense for SU-75, we can go for SU-57 as AMCA will take longer....

We as a country should mostly interested in engines. May if we can provide them 10% royalty for every engine built for the next 500 engines built in India, the mayebe we get ToT. Similarly we should negotiate with Safran, Rols royce and GE to atleast have 2-3 options in worst case scenario.

After the coupe and amerikans involvement it is better to evaluate our defense programs esp with amerikans. We can co develop su75 as a replacement for mk2 which will replace jaguar,mig29,mirage2000 and will be a stealthy design even if we operate it in non stealth mode compared to other 4+ jen jets. We can co-develop it but only if russia provides al51 engine tech with ip which can eventually be used for su30 also(govt should do a deal which benefits both country) and we will have a credible engine of our own .

I think it would be worth going with SU 75 instead of going for Tejas MK2. Let's complete the project of Tejas MK1A. merge MRFA and Tejas MK2 And procure SU 75 in large numbers with full TOT from Russia with integration of Indian systems with India specific enhancements. then, in future, if SU 75 is really capable platform, then replace all our aging foreign platforms with su 75. Finally, by that time we would be able to make AMCA completely on indigenous knowledge, experience, skill and capability coming with manufacturing of SU 75.
Option 2, let's re-join FGFA with integration of modern Indian systems and India specific enhancements. Scrap MRFA and Tejas MK2. Buy a good number of SU 57 along with marine versions and use the manufacturing experience to develop AMCA and TEDBF.
Here we have to remember that, even if the US gives us so-called full TOT for GE engines in Tejas program, that machine is only going to work as spy for their military and government which is only going to render you as permanently dependent country on them. They can take leverage of the situation of dependency of host country. Russia is reliable in that sense that they at least don't bother about internal affairs or our relations with other countries..

Stealth is not an issue. Baba ramdev recently said that Patanjali will make g0bar coating for tejas which absorbs radiation and adds stealth. We just need technology on engine and avionicsnamd airframe.
India is not getting Tejas mk2 before 2032 leave alone AMCA.
Even if both are manufactured before 2032, India won't be getting required number.
