Defence Matrix do you think by 2030 we can move ahead with twin non nuclear aircraft carrier building? By my estimates India Navy should get a modernisation budget of around 10 billion by 2030 with budget of around 135 billion usd
It's not abt budget but building capacity also it's about training cadets with responsibilities.
Construction of INS Vikrant's sister ship should start around 2027 and the carrier should enter service around 2033-34.
The order maybe placed around 2025 and then there is a lead time of around 2 years till the construction actually starts.
@@qwill8254dude you already have that capacity in Cochin shipyard. One 70k tonne and 115k tonne dockyard present. If govt says yes then they can built another dry dock by 2030. If training takes that much time then expect 2nd flat top carrier by 2050😂

Issue budget ka nahi hai... Issue hai proper use ka... Carrier toh bana lenge lekin uske liye aircrafts ka locha hai... IAC 1 ke liye hi waqt lag raha hai, abhi tak sure nahi hai ki Tejas naval version lenge, ya rafael naval ya US se lenge (Whatever you're hearing or reading are just rumors).
