I agree. One thing I didn’t like about Deluxe was the omission of adding new tracks to the original MK8. That being said, it’s still a fantastic game overall and I’m glad they fixed the battle mode. Oh, and Wuhu Town from MK7 returns as well.

This has to be tied with Rainbow Road for my number 1 favourite music track in Mario Kart 7. And to think, this was how I was introduced to Wuhu island. When I first played Wii Sports Resort and saw the island, my first thought was “wow! It-it’s that-it’s those 2 courses in Mario Kart 7! It’s Maku Wuhu! It’s Wuhu Loop!” And the title music made it better.
Mine too! I love both the seaside road by the sea of Wuhu Loop as well as the big gliding section as the sun sets in Maka Wuhu😁 Really wish they made more segmented tracks
When I first played Wii Sports Club, I was like, "Hey! They stole this from Mario Kart 7!!" 11-year-old me would soon learn the truth about Wuhu Island originating in Wii Sports Resort rather than existing for the purpose of being a Mario Kart course or two.

@@civera. It’s possible for the Blue Shell Cup to be unfinished. It’s highly unlikely we’ll be getting 3 nitro tracks in one wave with only Tour, GCN, and Wii being represented. Many of us believe one of the Wuhu courses will be at the end of the Acorn Cup, while an N64 track (Bowser’s Castle) will be right before the final Wii track everyone predicts to be Rainbow Road.
I found out that they're connected. Plus, I heard rumors that the original _Mario Kart 8_ was designed in mind to where every track, including retros, had a unique song. So what Nintendo could do for these tracks is combine them into a 2-lap track named "Wuhu Island" and have the first lap be Maka and the second lap be Loop
@@pvzmariosonica8fan I honestly could see this happen. Nintendo knows how much Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu are fan favorites. Combining them into a new course makes it so they don’t have to pick one over the other.

For some reason, the names for all the tracks in the Star Cup of this game change their names dependent on region your from. USA/JP: Rock Rock Mountain, Piranha Plant Slide, Wario's Shipyard, Maku Wuhu. EUR/AUS: Alpine Pass, Piranha Plant Pipeway, Wario's Gallon, Wuhu Mountain Loop. Idk why they did that.

It’s a crime this is not in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This game is way too underrated, 3rd best in the series because of the tracks. 1st is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for obvious reasons. *its epic* And 2nd is Mario Kart Wii because I’m biased and glitching is just fun.
The fact that this isnt in tour yet upsets me. Also if we include retro tracks that came back in tour, both wuhu tracks are the only 3ds tracks that havent been remade in a mario kart game yet.
