this kit is so funny. A lot of the girls that are obviously wearing sexy outfits, but this one looks like a normal girl wearing a mostly plausible uniform, but then she just forgot her skirt.
The heavy use of 'exo suit' style design help to cover up the 'figure' nature of this. The belts at the thighs prevent this from getting seems on skin, and the belts the the torso allow it to hide its joints which are close to the core of the suit. Similarly, the arms have metal braces on them which allow the joint to be a natural part of the character design, and the arms also have a raised edge at the seam to make it look like a seam in the suit itself. The knees are the only area with obvious 'figure joints'... and...well, that has always been the case for figures, so you will always have a hard time there.
Feel free to jut build the girl first, and armor second. The armor tends to need a bit more paint work (such as metal to the shoulder fans, or panel lining) to be its best.
I forgot about the green variant of this and sped over to USAGS to buy it. I think I got the last one and it also happens to be my first frame arms girl. I’ve been dancing around the idea of getting one for like a year. And this video finally did me in. Any recommendations on a megami device kit???
just buy what you can get your hand on^^your gonna buy most of them anyway! they are all good, wism is a bit simple/old tho. I started just 3-4 months ago, and have already 10 or so, Most of them just get sold out too fast, The asra nine tails slipped by my hands and im still pissed of. I had it in my shopping cart and by the time i was gonna check out/log in it was gone!
If you like robot/mech parts Sitara Kaneshiya Ver. Ganesha. She's like a mobile armor. If you want something smaller, all the Alice Gear Aegis sets are good.
Greifen for me is weird. At first I totally disliked the way she look but after seeing her again and again, she is definitely becoming my number 2 FA girl. Especially that creepy smile and knife... The girl isn't too embarassing (it seems like just an eva suit), the straps are in smart palces to hide joints, this version has multiple color options, and ..... the arms can 1 hand th HGBF gatling gun. Yes- it can one hand a gatling gun as long as you swapn the bar handle and the stick handle (bar handle in tiny claw arm, stick handle in giant hand). So you could dual wield gatling guns.
Some of the "underwear" pieces for these kits are supposed to be tiny pants. There's no real fabric for these kits since they get in the way of articulation. However, if by pants, you mean the kits that have their hips and thighs coloured, there are a few: - Ludens and Ludens Black are completely covered up since they're fully-armoured. - Zelfikarwears and Baselard wear long pants or stockings that cover up their entire legs. - Sylphy and Sylphy Striker have yellow robotic hips and full leg armour. Makes sense since they are little girls; too young to sexualize. - Megami Device WISM Soldiers are fully armoured like Ludens. Megami Device Ayaka Ichijo wears stocking like Zelfikarwears. The lack of pants can also be fixed easily by painting. You don't like the fact that Gorai comes with stickers for underwear? Paint everything down there green and you'll have her in pants. Since these are model kits, you can get them as modest as you'd like.
Unfortunately not. Especially, the rather nice belts on the legs (all the belts work well to hide seams and joints) means that you will lose parts of the design if you try to get parts that are regular thighs of a non skin tone color. Pretty much paint at this point. I think even just getting some grey primer would work well for both color varients of this.
it's great to have Frame Arms Girl kits that i don't need to hide when my grandma visits
Almost all Frame Arms Girl are less over naked girls, that part is more from Megami Device with big boobs and all of that xd
haha yeah, but then you get kits like Hresvelgr Rufus Agito where they're basically Megami Device kits with Frame Arms characters

She's probably named Greifen (guraifuen) because of her robotic arms. It means "to grab" in german.
