It's criminal how underappreciated Josh Smith is.....guy makes quality music with quality musicians. People all over youtube watch him talk about technique, gear, but literally don't actually listen to him...shit blows my mind
What a classy piece of music! Good to watch Josh´s playing evolving! Such a great musician. And this set up with Larry and that marvellous Brass section... yummie!
A little tip of the hat to “Stang’s Swang?” Man I love love love this. Those bits of grindy grit on the double stops and the stingy hard hit notes stand out but there is so much super nuanced phrasing, each note is hit and shaped with differing pressure and finger shaping creating lovely textures throughout. Yummy! (That’s how he always plays of course, but the style of this song is a great presentation for it).
Love this video! The whole album is brilliant. Different from previous releases and a fresh sound but still sounds like you. The horns and organ sounds class and there's definitely loads of new stuff from you in your playing. The band are on fire. Awesome stuff all around
A most awesome tune and the video is well done but, the parts with the officer, person running and silhouette thing doesn't fit at all IMO... it takes away from the cool "Uptown and Snazzy" vibe and has no real meaning and does not add anything of value to the presentation.. Just my two-cents FWIW.. thanks for posting! :)

Excellent album and huge bonus to hear Larry Goldings in this lineup too!
That smile at the end Josh was exactly the same smile I had from start to finish. Inspirational!!!
Josh gettin' his Pink Panther on; mystery abounds!

Really nice... audio and video!
Great tune Josh!
Excellent, just superb.
Sounds great guys
Nice! 👊
That is a gorgeous tune! I could almost hear Tom Waits sliding smoothly over the top of that. Beautiful man!
Enjoying this. I would think all the musicians enjoyed playing it too.
Scratching that jazz itch. Love this!
Digging it!
