what do you mean "'russian orthodox religion''. orthodox christianity isnt russian. Bulgarians became christian before the russians. The bulgarian empire took the monotheistic christianity from the Byzantium empire.

For being one of the poorest of the Europen Union countries, the city itself has so much to offer, beautiful buildings and churches. The streets are vey clean and it is quite clear to me that it was definetely a planne city.

yes it is. you can go skiing on mount vitosha...just 40 min away from the centre...though honestly winter is not the best time to visit. it could be very foggy too
