ALso close to SHipka there is a MASSIVE communist monument in the forl of flying saucer, where the first communist party in Bulgaria was gathering. It's in ruins now, but remains very high attraction for climbers, historics and photographers. Bulgaria is the third country in Europe by historical relics and monuments after Greece and Italy. +Topi Kauppinen it had more churches and monasteries than anything else in this video... :) Interestingly enough that most resorts weren't even mentioned - whether on the sea coast like ALbena, Golden Sands, Sunny Beach, St Konstantin, Dunite, montain resorts like Bansko, Pamporovo... I think it was better that culture and history was bolded on as it carries a spirit of some places and definitely worth visiting. ALso close to SHipka there is a MASSIVE communist monument in the forl of flying saucer, where the first communist party in Bulgaria was gathering. It's in ruins now, but remains very high attraction for climbers, historics and photographers. Bulgaria is the third country in Europe by historical relics and monuments after Greece and Italy. Land that gave to the world Spartacus, land that saw many conquest battles from Antic World up until 20th century, land that saw religions clashes, crusades... waiting to be explored further
