To sum up, this is what we expected:
- Artifact chest with gems, core or sub chest with HS scrolls, the other for some CSG or more HS scrolls
- Core swap
- Free HS scrolls
- Good side events
What we got:
- Free HS scrolls
- Not even guaranteed artifact chest for 40k gems, not even guaranteed sub chest for 40k gems and 1410 HS summons
- Free HS scrolls, but have to wait at least 2 months to have a chance to get good value out of them
- Months of saving wasted, at least 2 months of progress robbed, which means resources lost
- Good value for 25k gems, yay
This event is decent as far as acquiring resources goes, but the lack of high tier rewards is outrageous. I got lots of Stellar Shards, some CSG, Starspawn cores. But they all came from a side event. The main event is horrendous. 1410 HS scrolls for 1 sub chest is just ignorance at it's best from DH. Qixi event, a festival barely known outside of a select few Asia countries, we got an artifact chest, a sublimation chest, a core chest, all F2P. Asking for events like that every festival is a bit hard to justify, but that's the bare minimum for the most anticipated event of the year.
Yes, I am aware that 800 HS for free is a lot, but if this is the supposedly "most important event", can we really expect much from next transcendent event? It's not like DH doesn't have a long line of history of robbing us, the most recent being the B- session and campaign drop event. 3 new exponentially expensive power system have been introduced, sub and core chest shouldn't even be top rewards anymore. 800 HS scrolls should be taken for granted, not a plus. It's not even enough to make up for months of progress gatekept behind a damn sublimation chest. So yeah, it's as bad as it gets.
How was your progress robbed? Those scrolls are still on your account, no?
@@MKxJUMP and they will sit there doing nothing for at least 2 more months. For early - mid game players, they can be 1 sub chest for SQH or 1 core chest for TBB away from making progress in Void Campaign, beating Dominator/Overseer, getting perfect smash for Realms Gate. Now they're forced to sit still and watch their accounts stuck in the exact same place they were for the last few months. About 16 Void Vortex sessions, 2 months worth of sublimation, core shards, destiny materials, X-level, resonance upgrade, mythic skins. No resonance upgrade means that LFA, the most popular hero out there, would get rekt every time a SFX pops up in Aspen Dungeon. I'm perfectly fine with waiting since I'm stuck on destiny materials, something out of reach for F2P players anyway. But yeah, I can see very, very clearly why people are mad. And like I said, free HS scrolls make this event qualify as an anniversary event, not a decent anniversary event.
@@MKxJUMPit’s not like anniversary is a bonus event, if it was a one time thing they added just to give us some extra rewards it would make sense if it wasn’t that good, but we waited ALL YEAR for this, it was the event people said ‘nah, just save for’ and now it’s came and we have to skip it. Mk .. I really dont know how you can be this positive about something like this and I honestly applaud you .. I Love positivity and I try to be as positive as possible myself, but this is genuinely insane, second year in a roll when the Biggest event in Idle Heroes is .. Im not going to beat around the bush .. actual Trast and .. with your words, is just a "Preparation" event for something big in the future. I don't want you to be extremely toxic and negative to the Devs .. but I feel like we need the big names in our community like you and Barry .. to be more vocal about the state of the game, because it is getting worse and worse and not just for spenders .. as a whole. We don't need negativity .. but I feel like we really need slightly harsher constructive criticism, because at this point the Devs see us only as walking breathing wallets and I understand that this is the point of every company, but we were at least getting much better, not just rewards, but also value for spending.... this is incredibly outrages and straight up demoralizing.

@@antiblock1649 For most of the endgame f2p it is really really bad. The only thing we need is cores. We have a ton of resources that we can't use. Except for some little things here and there, there is nothing in this event that gives us progression in the game. This event is kind of good for newer players and the free scrolls are nice, but for one of the biggest events of the year it's really not a good event.
I've already sent my feedback to the Devs, but the only people we have a line of communication with are just a small English speaking part of the company and don't have much say on what happens. 1500 scrolls or 40k gems for an artifact chest is just lunacy for F2P , hence the "skip". They shot themselves in the food with that, sadly.
1500 hs, 40k gems and 1100 csg gives you 5 treasures, arti, sub chest, and enough swap tickets to swap an arti for 6k gems. It's an expensive event but I've gotten a good boost from it. +90k atk for train, plus 7m for hp, 2 demon bells, sub chest, cheap festival skin for 3k gems for tbb, 5 red ss cores, and like 1m ci mat per tenant house
@@antiblock1649good value? 1500 HS and 40k gems is insanely terrible value. if you do the event "properly" then thats the best you can get. theres lots of free stuff, but as for actually doing the event and the value of it, its fucking horrible. not even close to being worth doing.

Just feels kinda sad that 2000 HS only gets you an artifact chest. With that kind of investment I actually expected to get at least a sublimation chest or core shards. Yes we do get a lot of free HS for future events but anniversary should be a celebratory event that every player (f2p to whales) should be able to get something of higher value to celebrate the birthday of the game. A simple artifact chest ain't something of higher value.
Anni is a letdown as expected. It was wise to spend csg on the dragon boat event to get 1 sub and 3 core chests
What i am most sad about this event is the lack of destiny mats for a reasonable price. I was ready to spend 2k scrolls, 7500 csg and buy the relay (the regular 93$) to hopefully get some destiny rewards, but i can't get any even if i spent all that and instead wouldn't even get a whole lot
I guess they don't want my money, I'll just enjoy the free stuff and gem stuff instead

You can either choose to sit around complaining about it, or you can see how to use this event to your advantage. I'm always a fan of the latter! Glad you agree!

21:00 Very important thing - the Vesa skin you can get from chests can now be replaced into all the other Transcendence ACE skins! So you can use 80+ tickets to get yourself Commander LoFA or Dragon Tamer Vesa!
22:45 To be fair Divine Spirit can be used for the Starry Gem replacement/sacrifice event thingy.
If you are considering just 6-star Divine Spirit, by that logic you could just use him as food 😂 But if I have an unfortunate 7-star or higher, that's when this little trick can come in clutch

Every TH-camr hyped up this anniversary again by stating "save for anniversary". Anniversary comes along and now they're saying "save for the next events instead!" It's just never ending. Why are they defending this decision? Next we'll hear "dont like it dont play" and tbats when you know Idle Heroes is coming to an end.
This is the 2nd anniversary in a row which is a skip!

People are sleeping on how valuable the neon starry gem pack and neon gem card are. You basically get 1.25-1.5 sub chest of value and 650k of each ci resource for minimal cost. And you can buy a festival unique skin for 6000 gems is nuts too. And 800 free heroic scrolls, 4 active codes.
What value? you are paying for pixels ! And even worse u are making china financial stronger and your own wallet weaker

Hey MK 🖐, i just wanted to say that now we've got anni event it would be really appreciated to know what is the best first transcendence hero along Eloise, I've watched the previous videos on the topic but there is still some controversy between Vesa and Alumack.
Disagree about the starry gem card (around 30:00) - that's basically a lemon chest for every 94 account levels, and IMO 888 CSG for a lemon chest is not bad value by itself. If you're level 200, it's worth more than a melon chest, which is really good value. If you're an endgame player at level 375, it's two full melons, or 180,000 sublimation. That's huge.
Also, regarding the bit around 38:00, discussing how much DT stuff you need for Nirvana 100, it's 232 aurora gems and 9,207,152 scattered spiritvein shards, which is the equivalent of about 93 top rewards in an event. So if you maxed out an event like this one every month for most of a year, you'd *almost* be able to get there. (Or you could get a decent used car for the same money.)
amazing amazing event. for new players. free 800 scrolls along with their ih999 and ih777 codes. and the ability to swap into aloise from anything. very good event. for everyone else its absolute shit and just goes to show to never look forward to idle heroes events and instead just enjoy it as they come.
Another waste event. I already have 3756 hs and last hs event everyone said to save and i didnt save i spent 1500 hs. I dont want to play the log in to collect rewards to never use said rewards game.
All those savings just to get a big slap to the face. What the hell are these rewards?!

Yes, but not Divine Spirit. You shouldn't be able to swap heroes that go down to 4-star. But it seems making them 6-star overrides that. That is the point of why I was enthusiastic about it.

This anniversary is so ridiculously bad that I decided to skip the HS event and rather use my gems for artifact swaps, hero copies, and skin swaps. Imagine spending 40k gems and 1.5k HS just to get 1 mysterious artefact and 1 sublimation chest, with no CORE😃 totally not worth it. And the treasure train is disappointing too.
In my opinion, Easter is much better than the anniversary this year, and that's a fact for me.😊This event is only for spenders/whale.🙂

The rewards are good, it’s nice to be able to bank 800 scrolls…. But it’s a kick in the guts to have one of the biggest events to turn out to be a spender only event.

I have 4 f2p accounts and 2 were ready to dump scrolls. And it’s even sucker that they are food locked again. Yes scrolls aren’t the greatest for food. But it ment progress. And I honestly thought they would have given more, after there video saying reward systems need an overhaul…..

Eloise is stronger until like 2-3 trans heroes. So if you want progress its better to go all in on her. And to make your first trans a support hero for Eloise.

I am at level 178 and I have 2.5k contract starry gems, is it worth it to buy the sublimation rewards for 888 contract starry gems? I need sublimations as I have none at all on my account
for your level it's not even full sublimation, I probably wouldn't do it

HHA for sure. Then mff 6th. More progress w void bosses getting HHA first.
Either Alyamak if you can get him a somewhat good house so he has good atk or someone like Freya or Natalie for buffing your dmg.

@@basarbilgiliyes i think that’s the play. I run the same team as you and im at 6-7 trans. HHA is my second main householder. He helps a lot. Even without trans tenants if you build him for attack and get normal e5 tenants he adds a ton of survivabillty. I’ve cleared void boss 1 up to level 9. Cleared all of void boss 2. And cleared up to 5 of void boss 3. I have 5 DT heroes tho so take that progress with a grain of salt. But HHA def helped w that progress.

Alikita or aylamak for first transcendence hero?
between specifically those 2? I might go with Alikita, but if you had more options, I’d save Alikita or Aylamak to 2nd or 3rd transcendence hero. Aspen, Betty, and Mockman would be better 1st transcendence heroes. They all deal a good amount of damage, or offer some meaningful crowd control, or both.

Aylamak 100%. He can support your Eloise better and improve her defences with shields and added damage reduction when she blocks.
First transcendence heroes are not there to do damage or carry you through progress. It's suboptimal unless you make them A-Tier and have a decent train.
Use your first transcendence to support your existing strategy on your account.

One of the worst value events ever. 40,000 gems and nearly 1,500 scrolls for a single sub-chest. No opportunity for a core. This event was probably the last dance for many of us, just no point shilling this game anymore it's clear low spenders are locked.
In my opinion, it’s not really worth it. At the moment, i’ve only done 1 loop of summons and i’m going to save the rest i get. Unfortunately i wasn’t smart and spent 25k on bombs in the event. Not smart, but slightly worthwhile. also bought 20 data chips
