Why would you use Auro-3D or any other spatialiser plugin over this approach? Does it perfom better from an immersive standpoint? Or better in spatialisation overall?
Hey Shannen. That's a tough question to answer, cause it all depends on the systems you develop for. For instance, using Audio Objects on PS5 can be incredibly performance beneficial as it has dedicated hardware for processing Audio Objects. Try asking your question on our Q&A www.audiokinetic.com/qa/ and hopefully a user or a developer can give you a better answer.
Hello Leaf Xie. You could use the Auro-3D plugin instead of sending Audio Objects, but using Audio Objects is definitely more scalable to any output that can consume Audio Objects and process them with HRTF.
@@Audiokinetic What platforms will accept the Audio Objects as System input though? Would iOS devices accept object audio and binauralize them properly?

What are the limitations or performance considerations we should know when using this and any recommendations ?

How is 3D audio setup in MacOS?
I have a question. Can I set the bus config to Audio Object then add a HRTF effect to the bus instead of setting Windows Sonic for Headphones?
