    Here's a video I shot showing how to replace all of the crappy metal shielded bearings in your Arrma 3S/4S 4x4 with rubber sealed bearings.
    I didn't do the bearing inside the slipper, and having done it I would recommend NOT doing it. It's not worth it and won't go bad since it's completely enclosed.

    Being relatively new to all this RC, and having chosen the Kraton 4s - Arrma say ‘just 8 screws needed to remove front and rear diffs’ and manual gives no clue on step by step guide on how to do any of this in a sensible order. Exploded diagrams are probably useful to those who know.
    This is the only source of information which is absolutely invaluable for people like myself who are still learning. Thank you so much for this, I have saved to refer back to. Will sub. 👍🏻

    I could be wrong but I think there’s a bearing literally sandwiched between the slipper set. So maybe you missed one! Idk. But I am glad you shared this video. What bearing kit did you use and how are they holding up?

    Thank you for sharing this video for the bearing replacement! You mentioned "I didn't do the bearing inside the slipper, and having done it I would recommend NOT doing it. It's not worth it and won't go bad since it's completely enclosed." I am assuming the bearing that took approx. 10 minutes to remove was one of the bearings in the slipper, but I could be wrong since I do not know anything about this truck. If the original metal shielded bearings will need to be replaced eventually, I will wait a few months before I tear the truck apart to replace all the bearings with Fast Eddy bearing kit. I bookmarked you video for future reference when the bearings need to be replaced. Take care...

    • @marcmonge3704
      @marcmonge3704 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. The bearing he talked about not replacing was INSIDE the slipper. The one that's a pain and took 10min should be replaced as they wear quickly.

      The diff shim is used for manufacturing tolerances, if it's too tight or binding move it to the other side, if not, leave it where it is.
