  • How I trick my brain out of depression (or attempt to). These are the steps I take to help myself when I wake up feeling like I'm heading into a depressive episode. This system also helps me with my anxiety when I start to spiral. What works for me might not work for everyone, but I just hope it can help someone. ❤️‍🩹

    The changing of environment really resonated with me. I was aware of that tip, but at the same time I wasn’t lol For me, I noticed that going out on drives, hikes, the library would definitely clear my mind. And I agree, I feel like for people like us that love structure but need freedom it’s great to change things here and there with a structure. It creates that sense of balance and you end up feeling more in control☺️Thanks so much for this!

      Reminder that everyone experiences depression differently, and each experience is valid even if it’s different from yours 💗 Also, as vulnerable as a try to be in these videos, I don’t share everything, and I do keep some struggles and feelings private.
