Dog- thanks of showing the Cali car community doing the donation drive. Like this channel. Impressed by you taking time to film and do your part to charity some of those affected by the fires. Cheers to you.
Thanks for watching! Definitely gotta shout out my friends at OEM Plus and all the SD locals who made that event a success! Wishing a smooth recovery for those are affected and looking forward to better days ahead🙏
In the past, I've has success adding washers to the steering column to drop the position down lower. (This was on a EF chassis with no tilt/height adjustment)
You know the EK is huge inside when my 6'6" frame is comfortable in it. I'm on my second one. I had to get another. I swapped out my subframe for the Kswap I'm working on. You'll need all of the DC/EG bolts, including the front inner lower control arm bolts that bolt the control arms to the subframe. You'll need DC2/EG compliance bushings as well.
Hand placement for your steering wheel is as follows. 10 and 2 for automatic drivers. 9 and 3 for manual drivers. 😁 The steering wheel in your car is actually molded for a 9 - 3 grip. I think most racing steering wheels are. Anyway.....✌🏽 from Australia
i was just about to say something about your steering wheel sitting so high, i have a dnd deep dish 330 mm in my mustang and it is quite nice compared to the momo flat i had
Was considering a deep corn but I don’t think the issue is with the distance but rather the angle, might try to see if I can open up the slot of the adjustment to gain some more range to tilt downward. Thanks for the input!

Me too, am impressed
Glad to see your videos again!
Always love the vlogs with the EK in it!
Glad you enjoy the build!
Downsize to a 320-330mm wheel and you’ll see a world of difference.
Put power steering back or use prius colum mount EPS w a smaller wheel and be on the 10 & 2 better.
i second this
All good feedback, thanks! Gonna see if I can figure out a way to mod the tilt column to go even further down, then try a faster steering rack.
Digging the videos. 👌
Thank you!!
The white fl5 mirror cover is from japan “modulo” 😊
Yup that’s the look!!

I’ll keep that in mind, thanks!
This guy is the best 👌
YOU’RE the best!
You can space your steering column down with some spacers and longer bolts!
I’ll keep that in mind, thanks!!
That car meet was a great idea for donations, god bless you guys/ girls. Stay blessed bro and keep up the great work.🫡
Thank you for the kind words, always appreciate you stopping by!
A coustom mount on the steering column to get it down a bit..
We’ll see what we can figure out!

Appreciate the info, I’ll keep that in mind! Probably will take that opportunity to refresh some other things as well👍
Great job for the fire victim's fund raising.

Thanks for the tips!! I’ve trying to keep my hands on the 9-3 bumps of the wheel, will practice it more at the next track day🫡
U should change away the shifter to “IRP” that time i mention with u~or using back ek9 shifter n add on a extended~it will be more better than now :)

I own a Ek hatch and boy the steering ratio is the worst look into a quicker steering rack.
Might just be the move!
