    Much less sedate than other dances performed. Very entertaining and educational, thank you!

    I love this dance. The dancers are all so graceful, and I love the variety of pace and especially the 'movimenti'!

    Very interesting, and well done!
    Would this typically have been performed by a couple?
    I always try to envision the dances performed in candlelight, as they must been originally.

      Apologies, the question about a couple was intended for the Pasacaille d’Armide. 🫢

      No problem. Rostiboli Gioioso was written for one couple, but we chose to dance it with two.
      Passacaille d'Armide, I believe, was written for a solo lady.
