This is the nicest looking XR I have ever seen myself, i bought a new XR600 in 86 and i enduro raced the heavy pig, i think its the rear fender on this bike that makes it look so much better, amongst other nice features 👍
Man you guys do great work! I’m looking for a lighter bike to trade my KTM adventure 1190r for out here in Colorado. Has to be road legal though. I looked for one of those when I lived in NH. No luck
They are definitally good bikes im happy with mine and ive had it for almost 2 years now only thing is that for some reason my valve lash likes to untune itself alot which is odd to me.
Scott Summers raced gncc, isde races on xr600r. He raced baja 1000 one time on a xr650r and placed 3rd behind the rest of the honda boys. Campbell and Hengeveld were XR650R Baja masters
Mr muttonchops. Check your facts, Summers raced the (XR600) to win the 5 GNCC titles, NOT the 650r. Cracks me up how you’ll go to extremes to try and sell a bike. Don’t get me wrong, the 650r is way better than the 600 ever was but no way did Summers race that bike. Considering that the 650r didn’t come out till 2000 and Summers won his 5 championships in the 90’s should have told you something . Next time try a simple google search if you’re not sure🤦♂️

Got 2 xr, just going through a resto on my 650. Had one nearly new in 07 as always regretted selling it so slowly buying all my fav bikes back.

Scott summers won Baja on a Honda xr600r. It was Johnny Campbell who raced and won on the xr650r. Where did you buy the mugen plate on exhaust ?

the stock exhaust restricts the engine badly, it is good for throwing in a bin only
hell i never new they made a water cooled xr 650 is that a special motor that isnt stock motor that came with it is it

The 650r is liquid cooled, the 650l is air cooled
