Master Craftsman thank you.... Great for a steam bath ..............my grandmother country home in Syria had a steam bath with a barrel shaped like the Jamaican drum ...with a faucet on top filling up with spring water.....on the bottom you feed the firewood ......and a spout coming out from the mid section of the barrel delivers the hot waters into a 25 galleons carved grant tub with a cold spring water faucet to adjust the temperature of the water ...........my favorite bath time .....I believe it's from the Ottoman empire time .

I just watched a video from a couple weeks back, of some folks in one of the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, one of them cannot remember) stockpiling scrap car wheels like these to turn into wood stoves for Ukraine. With so much of their infrastructure being targeted, the stoves provide comfort and warmth to civilians when needed. They were also filling them with humanitarian aid before shipping across their borders. All voluntary! The only difference I noted was they used smaller wheels as they stacked them, resulting in a narrower top. Such an intuitive design and easily replicated, I enjoyed watching this video as it was far more in depth on the manufacturing aspect than the one I watched previously.

I love the ingenuity of materials and the honesty of the build. Don't take any notice of anyone trying to rubbish the welds or criticise how it should be constructed. You don't see them taking the time and effort to post their efforts on here. I think you did a brilliant job 👍🏻

Regarding the quality of my weldings a lot of people criticise me that they are not good. I know it's not the best welding but I am not a professional welder and this is not a welding competition. Plus I use the grinding wheel and they look just fine. Very interesting! I built a barrel stove for the shop using a length of thirty inch diameter pipe, (about 5/16 inch wall thickness) from the salvage yard and my own door with a draft on each end so I can control the burn.
Once I get a good bed of coals going, I can put a three foot long log in it fourteen inches in diameter. Depending on the weather, it will hold a fire for as much as two days.

We had one similar at the barn sized Chalet, made of Truck Drum Brakes. It had fewer doors, didn’t have window door but I was so effective. Stack it in the morning and when we got back late afternoon, stock it and it would keep the whole place warm. Very economical wood wise.💚👍🏼🇦🇺

3:14 Preparing for the barbecue? Nice build indeed. :)
However, I think a flame deflector plate will improve efficiency. It's simply an angled plate where the gasses have to pass before entering the chimney pipe.
This means the gasses have to be in there for a longer time and will be burned more efficiently.

The rebar will not last in the fire chamber you need cast iron. You need to use harden bolds for all your hard ware. The low grade bolds will always loosen up. You should of used wood stove glass rope gasket behind your glass they sell it in all shapes and sizes the expanding and contracting might crack your glass I hope it’s tempered for wood stoves.
