This is a really good list. I really appreciate you including Dan Fogelberg. I cry every time I listen to that song. I've been crying every time for thirty years, and I don't imagine I'll stop. I also appreciate including Heart.
Was thinking the same thing. Mark's almost spoken vocal delivery isn't quite up there with most of the others in the ballad list but that guitar tone and his story telling most certainly are. All I do is miss you through the bars of a rhyme. Some great imagery there. Juliet says he it's Romeo you nearly gave me a heart attack, such a funny lyric in the same song. Maybe not in Rick's list but his list made me think of this great song. So that is a positive for me!
I can imagine how difficult this endeavor was for you. Remote singers, playing piano, guitar, bass and other drums etc.. Filming yourself doing it and putting all of it together seamlessly. Hats off to you. Quite a job. thanks for doing it. Love it. BTW The singers are awesome. Bravo to all of you guys!
The production quality of this video off the charts. Rick has an amazing following because he puts together the best ideas than produces them with the same level of effort I’ll bet he poured into real records.
great song, Very hard decision, But what about: Scorpions - Still Loving You? Queen - Love of My Life? Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is? Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart? Extreme - More Than Words? Air Supply - All Out Of Love (Great ballads band)? Very long list of great ballads.... :) Anyhow, love your channel!

Some songs that didn’t make the list but could have made it: “Yesterday” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by The Beatles, “Angie” by The Rolling Stones, “Epitaph” by King Crimson, and “Lucky Man” by ELP.
Hard to imagine (pun intended) how 'Yesterday' possibly the most covered song of all time not making the list. But as Greg Lake once sang C'est la vie'.
It's a great rendition, but as a Phil fan (well more Genesis) it's a way off sounding like him :) Phil's voice badly underrated imo, managed to sing Gabriel's Genesis tunes better than Gabriel did.
@@barking_mad6649 it's impossible for that guy to sound like Phil because he doesn't have Phil's vocal cords. But he nails the techniques and mannerisms perfectly
Thank you for including Carole King’s “So Far Away”. I bought Tapestry the day it debuted and I have bought it every way it has been released. I love this album.
you have increased my itunes collection on my phone, I keep getting introduced to songs I loved in my earlier days before responsibility and children took over my life. I am bring these feeling back to my life and will incorporate into my family (grand dad 2 years ago now I'm 57 years old)
""Without You" - Harry Nilsson "Ten Years Gone" - Led Zeppelin "Wild Horses" - Rolling Stones "You Are So Beautiful" - Joe Cocker "Color My World" - Chicago "Something" - Beatles "Running on Faith" - Eric Clapton "Still...You Turn Me on" - Emerson, Lake, and Palmer "Baby, I Love Your Way" - Peter Frampton "Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac "Little Wing" - Jimi Hendrix "Dog & Butterfly" - Heart "Come Away with Me" - Norah Jones "Silent Lucidity" - Queensryche "Only You" - Yaz (aka Yazoo) "Still Loving You" - Scorpions "A Pillow of Winds" - (not really a love song, but so pretty that it ought to be) Pink Floyd
Going through my late father's cd's, I came across one he had written, titled "Best rock ballads". His choices were the following: Child in time by Deep Purple Send me an angel by The Scorpions Feels good to me by Black Sabbath Heartbreak station by Cinderella Edie by The Cult Soldier of fortune by Deep Purple Belladonna by UFO Believe in love by The Scorpions Dying for love by Black Sabbath Stairway to heaven by Led Zeppelin You make me feel by Bonfire November rain by Guns'n'Roses When a blind man cries by Deep Purple Nothing else matters by Metallica You could say that it brought to me exposure to artists I at the time hadn't even heard of and got me interested in going through the work of both the ones I just discovered and others I thought I knew. So I thought I'd share it.
There's plenty of great, 'deep' music around now. It just doesn't reach the masses cos it's easier to 'commercialise' the simple, the trite, the 'produced to a formula', so that's what labels & radio push. (If you'd like something current that's deeper, check out Gang of Youths. Frontman has an amazing voice, is charasmatic a.f., and his lyrics can bring you to tears)
@@RCAvhstape True, because the market is so atomized now. Not as simple as just listening to the college radio station; gotta find the band's stream now.
Funny thing is is that George Harrison felt that McCartney walked all over his song with his bass playing on it. At this point in time McCartney had become a control freak in the studio and he himself admitted years later that Harrison had a valid complaint and that he over did it.
Hmm... I cover Something, very spare ala George's demo on Anthology. Well, it is just me on my 6 string with my wee vocals. Glad you you found music that chills your soul.
My god, your videos are life affirmingly awesome. Such amazing covers and while everyone has their own opinions, your wealth of music wisdom is unassailable. Thank you.
Just found this ... absolutely phenomenal! So many memories ... at last half of them brought tears to my eyes ... we definitely need a top 100 balads ... only glaring miss IMHO ... Angie.
At 5:50 Carmen brought tears to my eyes - very well done! That is professional singing right there. Thank you! Damn it! ... and again at 9:26. Great tone but most of all she's emotionally connected to the lyric and its awesome. Nice performances by everyone. I would love to hear more of Carmen. I'll go see if I can find her on Spotify.
Rick: these singers have an uncanny, chameleon-like ability to nail these songs and the voices that originally sang them. You surround yourself with highly-capable people!
"Your Song" is incredible example of melding lyrics and delivery. "But anyway ... the thing is ... what I really mean, yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen". Conceiving of and delivering that awkward hesitancy so perfectly is no mean feat. Taupin was one of a kind.
WOW, the folks singing on this leaving me wanting to hear more from each of them! I'd really love to hear Shane Lee singing the full song of She talks to Angels. That was so good!
One of the best videos you've ever made. The singers were excellent, beautiful covers. I would tell you what I thought was my favorite song but I'd have to lie to myself.
For a Phil Collins performed track I would've picked Afterglow instead. I think it's a much more stirring song and performance, and Rick's cover artist would've probably done a great job with it
Still they ride is absolutely epic. My favorite is stone in love (though not a ballad). I do think faithfully is such a (deservingly) a famous song it should have been included instead. And at number 1.
Love Still They Ride, one of the more underrated Journey songs. I would have tabbed Faithfully though, which I think is the band's all time favorite. Open Arms would have been a close third.
How does “Songbird” off of the epic Fleetwood Mac album “Rumours” not make this list? The piano playing and singing by the late Christine McVie is simply beautiful. May she rest in peace.
So it turns out Eric Cartman (from South Park) did not cover "All By Myself". My reading comprehension needs work. Or maybe I just read what I wanted to read.

There may be no greater rock ballad than The Who’s ‘Love Reign O’re Me’ from Quadrophenia. The production, Townshend’s guitar and Daltry’s vocal are amazing!
Probably one of my favorite Who songs. Not sure I would classify it as a “ballad”, but then again, everyone has their own definitions. To me, it is almost TOO epic and explosive to be considered a ballad. It seems to be a ballad to one’s own self, of being able to accept and embrace love. Personally, I always think of a ballad as a song that reaches out expressive love to another. But hey, that’s just me!
Great video and singers. I would add: "Nothing Else Matters", Metallica "Love of my life" Queen "Live to tell" Madonna "Tears in heaven" Eric Clapton "Wind of change" Scorpions "No woman, no cry" Bob Marley
@@Rikalonius The Beatles are mentioned 4 times because they're the greatest band of all time. You'll find that they secure multiple positions on most of Rick's videos for that very reason.
@@musabhatti7948 I like Rick, but his opinion on the Beatles is not gospel. They were a great band in their time; a gelling of the right people at the right moment. Certainly talented, but greatest band of all time, not hardly. Even if we disagree on that; that they have 5 songs on a top 20 rock ballads and Queen has none, is balderdash, and showcases the creator's bias.
Yesterday, Tears In Heaven, Melissa, Hey Jude, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, American Pie, Dreams (ABB and F Mac) Edited to add Alison, All Things Must Pass and These Days
Oh and Sundown and The Air I Breathe. There are so many great ones, and I haven't even touched any Dylan like Just Like A Woman, Lay Lady Lay, She Belongs To Me.

And then Glenn Frey's ghost would forever haunt the charred ruins..._why don't you come to your senses_
Chris Goodwin Yeah, The Eagles were my favorite band growing up but Don Henley is a dick!
Lol I read Despacito
Henley is a dick! (Even tho he's a brilliant drummer & vocalist!)
Blocked from the list because “they are notorious blockers”. Lol
The Scorpions' "Still Lovin' You" instantly came to mind, as it is absolutely unparalleled in my totally objective, incapable of bias, mind.
That song never dies in Philippine soil

#1 Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is
#2 Bryan Adams - Cuts Like A Knife
#3 Styx - Lady
#4 Journey - Faithfully
#5 Boston - A Man I'll Never Be
#6 Heart - Alone
#7 Whitesnake - Is This Love
#8 Dan Fogelberg - Same Old Lang Syne
#9 Beatles - Something
#10 Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever
This is a really good list. I really appreciate you including Dan Fogelberg. I cry every time I listen to that song. I've been crying every time for thirty years, and I don't imagine I'll stop. I also appreciate including Heart.
Great list man!
👍
Boston song is incredible...and seems like a preview to Brad Delps tragic end.
Faithfully is the best rock ballad of Historty
ELO has a lot of great ballads like Telephone Line, Can't Get Out of My Head and Strange Magic
Levi Hockey I love ELO !! Good call .
Levi Hockey Completely agree
Yes!
“No one knows what is like to be the Batman...”
Wrong,Adam west knows.
Robert Michalscheck ...and Michael Keaton...and Val Kilmer...and George Clooney...and Christian Bale 😁
"...to be the Sandman..."
"...to be the bad man"

I thought this was one of Ricks finest displays of his own talents.
As Rick himself would say... He was in the pocket.
Great playing Rick!
The Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald may not be Rock, but it is the #1 ballad in my mind, with it’s haunting chords, lyrics and weeping guitar.
One of my all time favorites!
"Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits and both "She's Always a Woman" and "Just the Way you Are" by Billy Joel are all fantastic ballads as well.
Romeo and Juliet is a fantastic choice! The whole Making Movies album is outstanding.
@@christopherharris3229 It really is an absolutely brilliant album!
@Dissonant Timbres Genuinely my favourite song
Was thinking the same thing. Mark's almost spoken vocal delivery isn't quite up there with most of the others in the ballad list but that guitar tone and his story telling most certainly are. All I do is miss you through the bars of a rhyme. Some great imagery there. Juliet says he it's Romeo you nearly gave me a heart attack, such a funny lyric in the same song. Maybe not in Rick's list but his list made me think of this great song. So that is a positive for me!
Romeo & Juliet, GREAT pic!
Heart's "Alone" is an epic ballad-- especially the acoustic live version they perform.
If he ever does a Top 20 Power Ballads, Alone would be in the top 5.
Another great one that is better than some on this list.
Yep, there's another, well remembered
Every time I hear it I get somethin' in my eye.
The production quality of this video off the charts.
Rick has an amazing following because he puts together the best ideas than produces them with the same level of effort I’ll bet he poured into real records.
I was expecting "Wonderful Tonight" to be on this list. Anyhow, good guest vocalists!
Steve Tyler: "this song playing on the radio is amazing, I wish we wrote it"
Joe Perry: "that's Dream On, WE wrote it 40 years ago"
great song,
Very hard decision,
But what about:
Scorpions - Still Loving You?
Queen - Love of My Life?
Foreigner - I Want To Know What Love Is?
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse of the Heart?
Extreme - More Than Words?
Air Supply - All Out Of Love (Great ballads band)?
Very long list of great ballads.... :)
Anyhow, love your channel!
He sais it was really dificult to choose😅
This videos could have 100 songs and there were still be many missing. But indeed I missed Love of my Life, bed of roses and Wind of Change
One folks overlook when it comes to ballads is by the most unlikely band and I'd put it on my list. Beth by Kiss.
Love of my life for sure
Air Supply, totally... but might be considered pop, not rock
19-let it be

Some songs that didn’t make the list but could have made it: “Yesterday” and “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by The Beatles, “Angie” by The Rolling Stones, “Epitaph” by King Crimson, and “Lucky Man” by ELP.
Hard to imagine (pun intended) how 'Yesterday' possibly the most covered song of all time not making the list. But as Greg Lake once sang C'est la vie'.
Layla
Or Faithfully by Journey
Open Arms by Journey and Tuesday’s Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd would’ve also fit very well.
Angie and epitaph wow great songs...
"Nights in White Satin" should have been on this list.
Such an underrated group
Whiter shade of pale
The Phil Collins almost-impersonation is incredible.
OscarBo it completely blew my mind!
It's a great rendition, but as a Phil fan (well more Genesis) it's a way off sounding like him :) Phil's voice badly underrated imo, managed to sing Gabriel's Genesis tunes better than Gabriel did.
I didn't even read the artist but immediately knew it was Phil Collins. Amazing!
@@barking_mad6649 it's impossible for that guy to sound like Phil because he doesn't have Phil's vocal cords. But he nails the techniques and mannerisms perfectly
All he needed to do was thin his hair and slick it back, and I almost wouldn’t have know the difference
That cover of “Landslide” was amazing too!
Thank you for including Carole King’s “So Far Away”. I bought Tapestry the day it debuted and I have bought it every way it has been released. I love this album.
I found Carmen Harvey's voice very appealing. I hope she does this for a living. She is certainly that good.
you have increased my itunes collection on my phone, I keep getting introduced to songs I loved in my earlier days before responsibility and children took over my life. I am bring these feeling back to my life and will incorporate into my family (grand dad 2 years ago now I'm 57 years old)
""Without You" - Harry Nilsson
"Ten Years Gone" - Led Zeppelin
"Wild Horses" - Rolling Stones
"You Are So Beautiful" - Joe Cocker
"Color My World" - Chicago
"Something" - Beatles
"Running on Faith" - Eric Clapton
"Still...You Turn Me on" - Emerson, Lake, and Palmer
"Baby, I Love Your Way" - Peter Frampton
"Songbird" - Fleetwood Mac
"Little Wing" - Jimi Hendrix
"Dog & Butterfly" - Heart
"Come Away with Me" - Norah Jones
"Silent Lucidity" - Queensryche
"Only You" - Yaz (aka Yazoo)
"Still Loving You" - Scorpions
"A Pillow of Winds" - (not really a love song, but so pretty that it ought to be) Pink Floyd
If, by Pink Floyd
PinkOld I’d just like to point out that Without You is Badfinger’s song and they get almost no credit for writing it.
The instrumental work is top notch, as always, but it's the quality of the vocalists that makes this so exceptional. Made my day!
Going through my late father's cd's, I came across one he had written, titled "Best rock ballads". His choices were the following:
Child in time by Deep Purple
Send me an angel by The Scorpions
Feels good to me by Black Sabbath
Heartbreak station by Cinderella
Edie by The Cult
Soldier of fortune by Deep Purple
Belladonna by UFO
Believe in love by The Scorpions
Dying for love by Black Sabbath
Stairway to heaven by Led Zeppelin
You make me feel by Bonfire
November rain by Guns'n'Roses
When a blind man cries by Deep Purple
Nothing else matters by Metallica
You could say that it brought to me exposure to artists I at the time hadn't even heard of and got me interested in going through the work of both the ones I just discovered and others I thought I knew. So I thought I'd share it.
Child In Time is absolutely epic. Also love Edie
It’s a hell of a list.
Your dad had great taste in music! Enjoy the journey.
You could make an entire list of just Scorpion ballads. For me they are one of the greatest ballad bands of all time. One of my faves for sure.
I would’ve had The Rain Song on here as my zeppelin tune
Love it but maybe a little too peppy for this list?
Imo the most beautiful chord progression ever. The Rain Song would have been my choice as well.
@@zosomoso I went to a high school for the arts, and played it on guitar as a duet with a vocalist at our senior recital. Best Zeppelin ballad!
@Douglas Sampson that was my Zeppelin pick
I was just about to comment this, glad to see that it was the top comment on the video👍the rain song would’ve been my pick too
Come on the Beach Boys -"God Only Knows" could be the most beautiful song ever written. Has to be on this list
I don't think I've seen a single thing from the Beach Boys on Rick's channel.
Too early for his time frame as stated, being released in 1966.
I don't see that song as a rock ballad.
Agree!!
Probably one of the most unusual and complicated songs in mainstream music.
Stairway, Thank You, Since I've Been Loving You, Ten Years Gone, Rain Song, Zeppelin had the best ballads! It's a shame many didn't make the list
They may have been blocked.
Thank You did make the list it was #3.
Some people complaining in these comments do not know what a ballad is judging by the songs they are wondering why are not on the list.
I thought All My Love should have been #1
Tangerine is one of my favorites.
Always amazes me how much "deeper" popular music was back then (60s - 90s).
There was plenty of crap back then as well; we just don't listen to it anymore. Survivor Bias at work.
@@TheSanityInspector Exactly. Well said!
@@TheSanityInspector As opposed to today, where there is plenty of good music, and we don't listen to it now.
I think "Something" really takes my cake. I get chills up my spine every time. That bass line just is absolutely perfect.
Not a rock ballad
@@scooter3000gt how not?
My god, your videos are life affirmingly awesome. Such amazing covers and while everyone has their own opinions, your wealth of music wisdom is unassailable. Thank you.
Just found this ... absolutely phenomenal! So many memories ... at last half of them brought tears to my eyes ... we definitely need a top 100 balads ... only glaring miss IMHO ... Angie.
Her voice on Wild Horses sent shivers down my spine.
No doubt!!! Man she is just incredible. All of these singers are great
Mine, too. Almost as good as the vocal by Gram Parsons (for whom the song was written) when he was with the Flying Burrito Brothers.
“Landslide” took my breath away, such a great performance and such an emotional song. I think it was the best performance in this video.
Carmen Harvey just sounded Excellent - need more info about her singing efforts. Thanks for all you do Rick
Rick never includes scorpions...and STILL LOVING YOU is way better than a lot of songs in the list
He is understandable US biased.
Deep Purple also missing
@@foreverpinkf.7603It’s all his opinion but I agree with you
Rick usually only leaves out songs/bands that notoriously block videos with their content regardless of the context.
@@foreverpinkf.7603 It’s his opinion
At 5:50 Carmen brought tears to my eyes - very well done! That is professional singing right there. Thank you! Damn it! ... and again at 9:26. Great tone but most of all she's emotionally connected to the lyric and its awesome. Nice performances by everyone. I would love to hear more of Carmen. I'll go see if I can find her on Spotify.
Great vocals from all three singers, but Carmen Harvey singing the Stevie Nicks vocals in the Fleetwood Mack song was fantastic, she's very talented.
The Bonnie Raitt song, too. Her voice sounds like a cross between Stevie Nicks and Bonnie Raitt.
Had the exact same thought - what a spot on Stevie Nicks! But the Bonnie Raitt was the one that really got the waterworks going.
gram40 Carmen is amazing, that gave me serious goose bumps!
Rick: these singers have an uncanny, chameleon-like ability to nail these songs and the voices that originally sang them. You surround yourself with highly-capable people!
All exceptional pieces and, the guests wow! amazing keep up the great work!!!
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue. So touching, I usually tear up when I hear it.
Bernie Taupin and Elton John were the perfect musical match.
Shows like The Voice make me want to barf. These performances are real here. No BS. Just pure talent. Thanks Rick and great singers!
3:34 holy crap he nailed Phil's vocal inflections so well. that's SPOT ON.
John Douglas Racing Video same with Bob Seger too
For a Phil Collins performed track I would've picked Afterglow instead. I think it's a much more stirring song and performance, and Rick's cover artist would've probably done a great job with it
"Something" is so perfect. Lovely lyric and progression, great guitar and bass work.
Better than the Beatles song he had! Something is BEAUTIFUL!
@@1badsteed i personally prefer let it be
@@thebookofeli849 Prefer all you will, but you're wrong.
Still They Ride is my all-time favorite Journey song. The vocalists you picked are incredible.
Totally agree
Great list Rick. My two-cents: "Don't Dream It's Over"-Crowded House & "All By Myself"-Eric Carmen.
I’d have Better Be Home Soon instead but great shout for Crowded House
@@adox66 Yeah, 'Better Be Home Soon' IS a killer ballad too.
Sorry, Crowded House is more like Dentist Office music and Eric Carmen ripped off Rachmaninoff.
So it turns out Eric Cartman (from South Park) did not cover "All By Myself". My reading comprehension needs work. Or maybe I just read what I wanted to read.
Oooff. Excellent list. I would add Heart's "Alone".
That’s a real POWER ballad for sure.
I would've put "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" by CCR on the list
You're not going to get Rick to honor bands like CCR or even the Monkees. He's too busy showering praise on the Beatles. It really gets old.
@@dennisjump8655 i think ccr are one of the top 10 bands ever. They really don't get praise as much as they should
True it is a great song, but not sure it can be categorized as a ballad (slow, romantic, melancholic..)

good list, I would add in Chicago's Just You and Me. I just love that jazzy interlude.
I think I like your list better. But I’d sub in Allison as my Costello pick.
Omg the singers on this episode are amazing, the girl singing Landslide and So Far Away is on spot. Wow
Great list, but man I was hoping to see "Brothers in Arms" on it. Some of the best work Mark Knopfler has ever done.
Indeed.
Or "Your latest trick" or "Romeo and Juliet". MK rules!
Oops! A must! At least perhaps an honorable mention.
Or Ride Across The River, Beachcomb, Planet of New Orleans, Lights of Taormina, etc. etc.
There may be no greater rock ballad than The Who’s ‘Love Reign O’re Me’ from Quadrophenia. The production, Townshend’s guitar and Daltry’s vocal are amazing!
Love Reign O’er Me might be too difficult for the vocalists
Excellent choice!
Agreed… stunning song!
Fully agree. Roger Daltry’s finest 5:48.
She is such a good singer. She nailed every song. Not exact copies, but hit the tone, timbre and inflection. Wow.
The singers that performed these songs were outstanding , great video!
Ooof. Landslide gets me in the feels every time. Your friends are good at the sings.
Great video and singers.
I would add:
"Nothing Else Matters", Metallica
"Love of my life" Queen
"Live to tell" Madonna
"Tears in heaven" Eric Clapton
"Wind of change" Scorpions
"No woman, no cry" Bob Marley
Completely agree - amazing singers. Also-not sure I have seen any representation of Scorpions from Rick??? What?!
Love of my Life is a good one. No Queen and like 5 Beatles, including that craptastic overplayed Imagine.
Wouldnt Winds of Change be an anthem?
@@Rikalonius The Beatles are mentioned 4 times because they're the greatest band of all time.
You'll find that they secure multiple positions on most of Rick's videos for that very reason.
@@musabhatti7948 I like Rick, but his opinion on the Beatles is not gospel. They were a great band in their time; a gelling of the right people at the right moment. Certainly talented, but greatest band of all time, not hardly. Even if we disagree on that; that they have 5 songs on a top 20 rock ballads and Queen has none, is balderdash, and showcases the creator's bias.
I'm really shocked that "Dust In The Wind" wasn't included, but it's a fine list, Rick :)
Yes! One of the best by far.
Hard to justify having so many from the beatles/lennon/mccartney and omitting this one
Just dont like that song for some reason, each to their own though!!
sure it's way better than most of this list... also "Hey Jude" and "Yesterday" (Beatles) it's almost a sin to not put them on the top 5 of this list.
Maybe it’s because it’s not a ballad.
Great list
Some i would add are:
Prince - purple rain
Pretenders - I'll stand by you
Xtreme - more than words
Yesterday, Tears In Heaven, Melissa, Hey Jude, Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, American Pie, Dreams (ABB and F Mac) Edited to add Alison, All Things Must Pass and These Days
Oh and Sundown and The Air I Breathe. There are so many great ones, and I haven't even touched any Dylan like Just Like A Woman, Lay Lady Lay, She Belongs To Me.
She's Leaving Home, Don't Worry Baby, Its All Over Now, Baby Blue, Running Scared. Ok that's 20, I will stop there, lol.
All subjective of course, but I’d have picked “Love Reign O’er Me” over “Behind Blue Eyes”
Me too. All time fave.
Same
I like your list Rick but I would’ve included Nights in White satin from the Moody blues on that list somewhere!
A Quebec, Canada musician, Michel Pagliaro, does an amazing cover of Dock Of The Bay.
Doreen, maybe “Nights., should be number 1.
Two most Iconic songs from that era......Nights in White Satin AND Living in the Past. Stairway to Heaven & Hotel California....2 most overrated.
ghostship85 Hotel California I don’t really think of as a ballad. Desperado is probably the best ballad by the Eagles
I agree I love the moody blues
