Very nice video. I am 6 foot and struggle touching the ground on my 09 690 especially in just normal shoes + seat concepts seat when i ride to work. 1" lower would be great for me and when i do a long trip with lots of luggage i can always put the stock back in. I have upgraded suspension so it does not move much with an 85kg rider.
wow that didn't look like it did too much at alll. I just bought my kouba link but haven't installed it yet.. I was hoping to get an 1" and 1/2 down. right now I can put both of my feet on the ground (half foot), stupid 32" inseam is crazy. my neighbour has a 34" inseam and he can flat foot the bike (both feet!!)
The second side swing arm axle spindle nut doesn’t just loosen off. The whole axle spindle spins when you try and loosen it. How do you keep it from spinning???
@linkshin said Ja, da ist der Punkt which means "What is the point", I am replying in German - Ich will es gesenkt. das ist der Punkt. (translated - I wanted to lower it, that is the point).
Nice, thank you for the video, very informative, do you notice a big difference on a day to day basis?? Is it a good investment and practical? Thanks again
+Daniel Natividad im 5'9" with a 29" inseam... i sat on an enduro 690 and there was no way i could touch both feet to the ground.. Even with the lowering kit it would be wayyyy too tall.
I'm 175cm and weighed 80kg...At stop lites on a hill it was challenging. I had to mentally prepare for stops (be in 1st gear and think which leg be off the pegs). Would I buy it again?...Yeah

Does the linkage move lower to the ground (less ground clearance)?

Hi I did the same lower my ktm , but now the bike is too upright on the side stand! Not very stable. Have you got any solutions? Cheers

Did the link help da suspension?
Are there any performance issues with the lowering link?
I didn't notice any performance change. But heard some people say turning character will change.
Before you lowered it, could you flat foot it with at least 1 foot? I'm only 5'5 ,was thinkin bout picking me up 1after I get my zx10 paid off.

Would this work on a 690 Enduro R?
Yes, I think it'll work on the endure too, but best to contact Kouba link.
