God I long for the days of Madness, The Untouchables and English Beat. I was fortunate to live in So. Cal. we're ska caught on so had a steady stream of the music. The 90's ska revival with bands like Save Ferris and Reel Big Fish was happening in my own back yard and was glorious.
Getting older I also long for these innocence days, but sometimes I go to Ska concerts already nowadays and I'm happy with my beer and feeling the atmosphere, it's my holiday from the everyday routine
From this era, ska was awesome and all encompassing. Mid fifties now with a stick and fused ankle but would love to pogo again, fantastic! Keep that young mind going.

Sometimes, TH-cam just throws you an absolute gem. Loved this. Not just for the music and the dancing and the general I don't give a fuck - i will skank where I want attitude. But also because I spent a few days in Cologne back in 2019 (weirdly enough was there to see a punk show at a place called live music venue iirc) and absolutely fell in love with the place.
