Martin, this reminds me of when I had to remove the front lower suspension arm on a 2012 Fiat 500. The only way to access the frontmost bolt was to remove the extension piece that goes between the front subframe and front crash bar. Whoever changed that arm on the Mokka had thought of "the next guy" by greasing the bolts.
Just done mine on mk7 fiesta, cost me £30 for the part and 1 and half hour of me time. Just 3 bolts. Getting it out of the chassis and putting the new one in, probably took a hour on its own.
great video guys .vauxhall bottom arms are pain ,i got a corsa diesel my bottom arm has a ball joint gone too so will be doing that job next week loved watching
I've taken 2 days to get the alternator off a Citroën grand picasso hdi....... you should try one of them 😭 So much to remove and every item has multiple different bolts/torx fittings one it in unusual sizes.... you'd think they didn't want anyone doing it bar them 😬 I've had almost every tool in the shed on the go and that's saying something as i have 3 toolboxes 🙄👍🇮🇪
Martin buy a 8'x4' sheet of Osb lay it down so you can kneel and lying on it and it'll stop getting oil etc getting on the drive, just saying from North of Newcastle 👍
If Gary knew how sensitive those headlights level sensors are he’d have it wrapped in bubble wrap and treating it like a young child. Any stress on them renders them needing replaced.
pain in the arse those swinging arm pins ,i think i would deffo cracked the track rodend turned steering hard right and lifted it upwards out the way give you more room to get in there with the sausage hands ,😂😂

My god Martin, you had my sympathy there. Well done for getting it out. Enjoy your holiday.
Take care, Jeff
Really enjoy watching you do work to the cars, I’ve watched all your old ones too
Glad you like them!

I think you should invest in an impact gun and swivel connections and it would be ten times easier😂💪👍
I have one.
Nice job Martin, will you be doing any work on the clio do you still have it.
Don't have it any more.
The project man pulled a flanker on you there Martin 🤣🤣
Lol 😂
Ex-brixton boy.. is a gifted genius 👍👍
Lol 😆
I've done one of these arms and find if you crack them off and drop the ball joint end down it gives a little more room for that bolt
I did that.
Great job guys 👍👍👍👍
When are you going to get into the bike's again fella's.
Soon I hope
Well done you two xx
Octopus arms needed for this job! Have a great holiday in Blackpool btw😂
Hard job but nicely done ❤

Great work by Gary …. Started the video doing the spannering then very quickly became cameraman and got you doing the work Martin 😂😂Unbelievable!!
Used a inpact gun stipped the treads
What a job it no wonder garages charge a fortune to work on them
👍👍👍. Thanks Boys
How you manage all that without efin and cussing like i do
He didn’t manage it without cussing 12:19
A few bold words always helps in my opinion, particularly when you bang your head or split your finger 😮👍🇮🇪
I would put a new bolt back in Martin for what it cost.
What a flipping nightmare to get lower arm off
You like a challenge.
Martin I heard you cussing need to wash your mouth with soap 😅 great job Gary love watching your repair videos watching from South Africa
You'd be saying bold words too if you were on your knees in the rain.....😊👍🇮🇪
Great work

Bolt been put on air gun happy
I wanted to see the new project 😒
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
nice one
Nightmare well designed by vauxhall 😂
All modern cars are, crap design, having to change the whole arm instead of just a ball joint.
