Hi Katrina! Your comment means a lot to me. Oh, so good to hear that you and your son are loom knitting. Give my regards to your son. I think it fabulous when young people have an interest in crafting / creating things. All the best to both of you. 🧶🧶🧶☀️

This video is great because I am teaching my granddaughter how to knit on a loom to see if she likes it before we go to needles so we can get her to learn something new and relaxing so she can stay calm. Then we can spend time together. Thank you so much for this video .
Hi Stephanie! Thank you for watching and I am glad you found it helpful. How wonderful to teach your granddaughter a craft to help keep her calm. All the best to you and your granddaughter. 🧶🌸🧶🌸🧶

Oh Gracious! THANK YOU for showing me the most beginning actions to take to start looming. I was in tears and about to throw my loom and yarn out the window!!!! I am so appreciative for you and so glad that I found your channel.
I literally started loom knitting on Saturday. I was intimidated then I found your channel. Thank you for clear instructions and showing exactly how to begin on all the pegs. I’ve watched several of your videos and plan to make several of the items you’ve done.

@Alethea Arnold I hear you we are so grateful too! me and my children were in the same place until we just now found this video! She’s amazing! 😃 as close to learning from mom... or dad as one can get!
This video is beyond perfect. I’ve been trying to teach myself how to loom knit and this was the first video that went slow enough for me to actually understand how to do it. Thank you.
This was my fourth video trying to learn & I knew from the first few minutes this would be the woman to help me finally knit successfully. She is so calm, patient, does things slowly, & doesn’t make jumps or assumptions. Her personality is great & her voice is soothing too!!
Thank you for relaxing and inspirational video. Your voice is calming . Lil tip for you, I cut a straw about 1 inch and thread my yarn thru..I use it to wrap around pegs. I'm lil clumsy therefore this technique makes it easier for me.
Hi Martha! That is a great tip. I have used a similar technique when using the Afghan or serenity loom. Using the straw helps to get around the pegs in a smoother and faster way. I appreciate you. Thank you for watching. 🧶🌻🧶🌻👌
thank you so much for going slowly and explaining so clearly what you're doing. i usually knit with knitting needles, but i've had hand surgery, will be wearing a splint for 3 months, and so will be one-handed until then. i'm going to miss knitting a lot, so a friend recommended loom knitting. i've started looking at so many loom knitting how-to videos, and yours is absolutely the best and clearest. and you're so friendly and hold our hands every step of the way. thank you!!!!! i have a straight loom, and i'm going to knit back and forth on it and not in a circle. i hope i can apply your methods to that. can't thank you enough!
Hi Hazel! I am sorry to hear about your hand and I do hope the 3 months pass quickly for you. Thank you for watching the videos. I’m glad you enjoy them. 🧶🧶🌸🧶
My family and friends all love this video. She explains it really good and gives great tips for a very easy successful looming experience. We love that she is so vibrant and explains it so well. Her instructions are easy to follow and she goes at a great pace.
This is such a ridiculously easy concept, and yet you are the First person out of all the others I have watched/ read that actually taught my dislexic brain how to do this 😂 THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH
Thank you so much! You're an amazing teacher. I'm too excited. Most videos, I have to watch them 1st and then try to start. I was able to follow along and it was at an easy paste.
This was excellent and I learned so much by listening to your soothing and encouraging voice. Thank you for posting this, I can't wait to see what my project looks at when I'm done.

Hi Barb! Thank you for watching and for the lovely comment. Yes, I had to slow it down to a pace where ‘I’ too could understand it🤗. All the best to you!🌻🧶🌻🧶🧶
Thank you so much. I know weaving somewhat, but need knitting instruction. Your videos answer all my questions and make looming so much fun- so helpful to add knit components to my weaving. I am hoping to gain insight so that I can use a knitting machine that I got a year ago and have been struggling with.
Hi Chelsey! That is wonderful to hear! It is never to soon to introduce our young ones to various crafts and crafting techniques. Thank you for the lovely comment. Best wishes to the both of you!!🧶🧶🌻🧶
I just finished my first beanie . I purchased the BOYE loom set from Walmart which worked out very well for me . I started about noon and finished it now. Doing other things in between working on this project. Thank you for the wonderful video instructions on how to make a hat. 😉
I love you so much, I wanted to just hug you as you come across so warm and friendly, and patient. I have a brain injury and, if I leave a project for a while I have to relearn the stitches again so this was an excellent refresher. Thank you with all my heart.
Hi Rose! Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you find the video helpful. Thank you also for the lovely comment. It means a lot to me. I wish you all the best!!🌻🌻🧶🌻
Greetings! Congratulations on your first hat!!🎉🎈. I am happy that you found the video helpful. Thank you for watching. Continued success and all the best to you!🌻🧶🌻🌻🧶
Love love love. you are soothing helpful and aren’t rushing through. Beginners really need some encouragement and you do. “ you are loom knitting” I was like oh I am now. Yeah!
Thank you so much!!! after listening to you and watching you loom, I feel as if I can easily accomplish loom knitting! I appreciate the time you put into this, and the talent you have not only to loom, but to teach as well. Thank you so much!
I inherited several of these round looms, now I feel the courage to try them out, thanks to YOU. Also, I am enthralled with the colors of your video, the glow green loom, purple background, and your exquisite complexion. Very pretty lady.
thank you so much for the time you put into these video's, I made a beautiful hat first try, my special needs daughter is so proud she was able to make one too. so everyone will be getting hats for xmas this year, I hope I can afford to keep her in yarn, she is super fast.
Hi Grace! Thank you for your beautiful comment. It is wonderful to hear about you - and, especially your daughter’s hat successes. It is never to soon to start planning for the next Christmas 🤗. Continued success and best wishes to you and your daughter!!🌻🌻🧶🌻
I had assumed defeat that I couldn't get this - until your video! I was so extremely happy for the up close and personal video! I ADORE the way you say "looooom" - warms the heart! And now it will warm my head, lol!
Thank you sooo very much. It means a lot to me that you found the video helpful. I too am glad that you will now have a warm head🤗. The best to you🧶🧶🧶.
Just had a spinal fusion surgery and since I won't be running any marathons, I thought I'd take a shot at a new hobby. Loved your video , you're adorable! Looking forward to step 2 and beyond. Thank you💜
Greetings Debbie D!! Welcome! I am sorry to hear about the spinal fusion surgery. I wish you a speedy recovery. Thank you for watching. I hope that perhaps loom knitting can bring you some joy and relaxation. I appreciate your comment. Sending many blessings your way! 🌻🌻🌻🌻🧶
I was just about to give up when I found your video!! I've been trying to learn loom knitting with my daughter, and I was not able to follow any of the beginner videos I found, until yours! You are a fantastic and encouraging teacher, and the way that you show the project slowly and from many angles makes all the difference!! I can't wait to see what we can make now that we've gotten the hang of it. Thanks a million!
Thank you so very much for watching. I am happy that you find the videos helpful. Thank you for the lovely comment. It means a lot to me. I wish you and your daughter continued success on your loom knitting journey!🌻🧶🌻
I've found using center pull yarn skein the best way, for me. There's a video showing how to locate skein starting point. Whenever I loom, the yarn just shakes free whenever it gets a bit knotted. You taught me basics. Thank you, hun!
Thank you sooo very much. I used to have trouble finding the right end of the yarn to pull. I know it will save a lot of time if I did it your way. I am going to look for that video or any videos that demonstrate that and give it another try🤗. I have been away from channel for a while but plan on being back around Thanksgiving. Thanks again -and take care. 🌸🧶🌸
I love your style and manner. I have a tip for getting the skein into a ball. I use a popcorn tin. I put the tin on the floor and put the yarn down in it. So much easier to roll it into a ball. Happy looming!
After watching your lovely video I am going to give loom knitting another try. Previously had problems with tension being too tight. Thank you so much.
Finally I can get beyond the first row without the stitches binding up. Your tip to tie off your first knot is a winner, and your teaching style is awesome. I can't believe I'm on the third row, might not sound like alot to some, but a huge difference. Can't wait to follow your projects, thank you thank you
Thank you for your slow and concise explanation of how this is done. Your soothing voice is almost hypnotic and makes any anxiety stop from trying a brand new thing at my age. lol BTW I love your hair.
Thank you.🌸Your comment means a lot to me. (Thank you for the hair compliment. I will pass it on to voguewigs.com and brandnamewigs.com - sshhh - our secret) LOL 👌
I love you...your so patient showing us beginners. I want to do this with my special needs Granddaughter... something we can share and have fun together ,So I had to learn first. God Bless you.
Hi Patricia, Your message means a lot to me. Thank you for watching. I hope that you and your daughter share many hours of loom knitting together. 🌻🧶🌻🧶🌻🧶💕
Hi Lister! I am happy that you found me again also🤗. I am happy that you find the tutorials helpful. I am also happy that you are knitting so many hats for the seafarers mission. What a wonderful thing you are doing. May God continue to bless you!🌻🌻🧶

I am going to print this and hang it on my wall! Thank you for being on the channel. I am happy that you find the videos helpful. All the best to you!🌻🧶🧶
@@WambuiMadeIt i have looked at lots of loom knitting videos and yours is the best. You have amazing energy and like one commentor said, "It's just like being in a room with your favorite granny who is so patient, clear, and loving in her explanations." (not to say you look old, though) I refer your youtube to my friends and come back to it when i need a refresher on how to loom knit a hat. I make them to donate to seafarer's mission for Christmas gifts.

This is Connie again. You saved me and my scarfs getting them off the loom. I want to try the round loom but nervous. I have watched this video over and over. Love your directions and tutorials. Wish me luck! Thanks for being such a good teacher!
Hi Connie! I am happy to hear that you were able to save your scarves. After all the loom knitting you have done, I think you will find working on a round loom a breeze. Usually, I tell beginners to start on a round loom. Connie, YOU GOT THIS! 🌻🧶🧶
Thank you so much for this video! I was getting so frustrated by reading the directions were so confusing. Your step by step and seeing it has made it so much easier!!!
Hi Justin! Thank you for watching and I am glad you found the video helpful. I do have a recently updated version as well: Beginner Step-by-Step How to Loom Knit (REMIX) Demonstrated with 'Light' Colored Yarn th-cam.com/video/bmdf4apc2Js/w-d-xo.html All the best to you!!🧶🧶🌻
Hi Jayne!! Sooo glad you stopped by! Thank you for watching and I am glad the video was helpful to you. Yes, you can make some really fine gifts rather quickly with loom knitting. Enjoy your day! 🧶🧶🧶🌻🧶🌻
This is a brilliant video and the very first I watched and got me hooked on loom knitting!! Since then I have made a few hats (which I am proud of) and a couple of scarves too!! Your videos are very well explained, simple to follow and most importantly fun to watch and your obvious enthusiasm shines through. Without you I don't think I would have been bitten by the bug! Thanks very much from North Yorkshire England!
Greetings to you all the way in North Yorkshire England! Thank you so very much for watching. Congratulations on all of the projects you have completed.
@@WambuiMadeIt it was so clear, with other videos I kept going around twice and my knitting wasn’t going down, but with your video I learned only to go around once after that first cast on, I then successfully made a baby hat for my first ever knitting project!! Thank you
I love your video you have made on loom knitting. I purchased a Boye loom knitting set from Walmart . Hoping I can learn on this loom knitting set and get started with small projects. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing! My daughters want to make hats to raise money for my youngest's French trip in 2022. One tip a out using yarn I learned many years ago in Australia was to find the end if the yarn from the inside if the ball. Sometimes it takes a bit of digging and you have some excess at the beginning. But, once you have used the excess, the yarn releases smoothly from the inside of the ball without tangles, and it also does not move around.
Greetings! I thank you so very much for watching! I thank you for pointing out the center yarn pulling technique. Since I first posted this video, I have gotten better at finding the center yarn. You are right, once you find it it, it usually goes smoothly - and the best part is that I am not chasing my ball around.🧶🤗 I appreciate you! I hope your daughters sell a bunch of beautiful hats! All the best to you!! 🌻🌻🧶🌻
thank you so much! this video gave all the necessary information to make a hat. I love your personality you are a very easy going person. thanks again!

I’ve never loomed stitch, but I was curious to how it’s done and now I see. I think I’m going to invest into getting one. I do crochet and I love it,but my hands hurts afterwards sometimes and loom stitching might help decrease some of the discomfort. Thanks for demonstrating.
Thanks for responding. I mentioned to my youngest daughter that I’m going to invest in getting one and that she and I can make hats...well more for me. I’m really good with making hats.
Love it Ms. Wambui! I've started my project. This wasn't so hard after all. You make it so easy. I'm using the hot pink yarn and hopefully, I'll have a nice adult hat. Have a good evening!

Thank you so much. I know weaving somewhat, but need knitting instruction. Your videos answer all my questions and make looming so much fun- so helpful to add knit components to my weaving. I am hoping to gain insight so that I can use a knitting machine that I got a year ago and have been
struggling with.
Thank you for such an excellent lesson.

I love you so much, I wanted to just hug you as you come across so warm and friendly, and patient. I have a brain injury and, if I leave a project for a while I have to relearn the stitches again so this was an excellent refresher. Thank you with all my heart.

Thank you so much!!! after listening to you and watching you loom, I feel as if I can easily accomplish loom knitting! I appreciate the time you put into this, and the talent you have not only to loom, but to teach as well. Thank you so much!
Getting ready to teach this to a small group. I of course, have never done this before. But I am already in love with this Wambui!
Hi Kevin! YOU GOT THIS!! 👏🏽🤗 All the best to you!!🧶🧶🌻
I inherited several of these round looms, now I feel the courage to try them out, thanks to YOU. Also, I am enthralled with the colors of your video, the glow green loom, purple background, and your exquisite complexion. Very pretty lady.
Hi! Yes, you should definitely try those looms out. 🧶🧶 Thank you for watching. Thank you for the lovely comments. 🌻
thank you so much for the time you put into these video's, I made a beautiful hat first try, my special needs daughter is so proud she was able to make one too. so everyone will be getting hats for xmas this year, I hope I can afford to keep her in yarn, she is super fast.
Hi Grace! Thank you for your beautiful comment. It is wonderful to hear about you - and, especially your daughter’s hat successes. It is never to soon to start planning for the next Christmas 🤗. Continued success and best wishes to you and your daughter!!🌻🌻🧶🌻

What a wonderful video and so easy to understand the basics of loom knitting. Thank you so much!
Hi Diane, the pleasure is mine. I am so glad you found it helpful. 🌻🧶🌻
Excellent instructions. Clear, concise, inspiring😃
I love your style and manner. I have a tip for getting the skein into a ball. I use a popcorn tin. I put the tin on the floor and put the yarn down in it. So much easier to roll it into a ball.
Happy looming!
Hi Debra! Great idea! Then the yarn doesn’t roll around. 👍🏽Thank you!🌻🧶🌻
After watching your lovely video I am going to give loom knitting another try. Previously had problems with tension being too tight. Thank you so much.
I hope you do give loom knitting another try. Thank you for watching. 🧶🌸🧶
I love you, your voice is soothing, I had my loom for a while but I was afraid to start. Thank you 💗
You are a terrific teacher. Thank you.
Finally I can get beyond the first row without the stitches binding up. Your tip to tie off your first knot is a winner, and your teaching style is awesome. I can't believe I'm on the third row, might not sound like alot to some, but a huge difference. Can't wait to follow your projects, thank you thank you
Hi Karen! Congratulations on row 3 🎉!! Continued success.Thank you for watching. 🌻🌻🧶
Thank you. Your video is so easy to understand. I'm definitely getting my looms back out and giving them another go.
Thank you. Yes, give those looms another go!
Sarah Gaskelexicize i
Thank you for your slow and concise explanation of how this is done. Your soothing voice is almost hypnotic and makes any anxiety stop from trying a brand new thing at my age. lol BTW I love your hair.

Hi Lister! Your comment means a lot to me. I am sooo happy you found the video helpful. All the best to you! 🧶🧶🧶☀️
@@WambuiMadeIt By the way, what does Wambui mean?
Hi Lister! Thank you, again. I think that it is fabulous that you make hats for the seafarers mission! Bless you!☀️
Wambui is a Swahili name that means singer of songs. 🎶🌻

@@WambuiMadeIt it was so clear, with other videos I kept going around twice and my knitting wasn’t going down, but with your video I learned only to go around once after that first cast on, I then successfully made a baby hat for my first ever knitting project!! Thank you
You explain it so easy. I'm so interested in loom knitting.
Hi Mary! I appreciate you watching. Yes. Loom knitting can be enjoyable and relaxing too. Have a great day! 🧶🌻🧶🌻☀️

Thank you, Erica. I appreciate you watching and am glad you enjoyed it. Take care.🌻🌻🧶🧶🧶🌻

Hello Brenda, Yes, I believe the loom knitting will be a little easier on your hands. I think you will find loom knitting relaxing too.🧶🌻🌻
Thanks for responding.
Hi Evelyn! That is great to hear. I hope that you enjoyed it - and after you get the hang of it - find it relaxing. Take care! 🧶🧶🧶🌻
