The weak spot on the Ozark trail tent are the pole brackets and on my first camping using my new tent , one of the brackets broke. I ordered the replacement bracket from amazon for 12 dollars and it was way nicer than the one that came with the tent. I own 3 Ozark trail rents . Two are the 10 x 14 and one 10 by 12 . I am 68 and can put them up by myself if need be. One more recommendation is a repair kit with waterproof tape, duct tape. cable ties, extra rope, clothesline and clothes pins. I also carry a small axe .
Do you think any of those would be appropriate for full time living? Just wondering because I'm considering a canvas tent on a platform when I move back from Mexico. I cannot bring myself to throw away a ridiculous amount of money for rent. Mexico has spoiled me on affordable housing
@@TUPELO_HUNNY I would not live in one of the Ozark trail tents permanently. There are so many options with canvas wall tents . I would do my research . Where are you going to live ? How much rain do they have in a year ?
I live in the Pacific NW. We have to lay tarps down before laying down our tents, otherwise when you pack the tent later, it’ll be covered in mud and debris. We also must always use the rain fly because even on a sunny day, fog and dew will always come at night and drench everything. This makes setting up a tent a chore, but it’s still fun and quick. When we get home, we have to wash off our tarps and let them air dry and hope they dry before the next rain fall. Good times.
OZARK MOUNTAIN TEN AND NOTHING ABOUT IT. MODEL NAME?????? WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. JUST BOUGHT A OZARK MOUNTAIN 16 MAN TENT. 2 PEOPLE SETUP BUT VERY VERY EASY.
