I had the estate or wagon as you guys call them for 15 years and I loved it. It weighed over 2 tonnes but would do 0 to 60 in under 7 seconds and on to over 150mph. It also did 45 miles to our English imperial gallons.
The rain sensor works when you turn the windshield wipers on one click, and then they will turn on automatically when it rains or the windshield gets wet!! We have 2 of these a 2005 and a 2006 great cars.. best I have ever owned
These are incredible cars. My daily is an 05 CDI. It was a one owner with 95k on the odometer. 3 years later it shows 116k. This is definitely one of my favorite ownership experiences.
Mercedes e class the best model i own a 2007 model with only 77.000 miles on it from new iv done all my own services the only thing I've changed is the battery brilliant car 👍👍
Yeah this is one of the few that I detail myself Scot is way better but he's been doing it for 40 years. But I have to admit I did a pretty damn good job on this one.
I can’t believe how quite the engine is talk about the evolution of the diesel engine from Mercedes. That wood trim is beautiful I would keep bragging about it myself too. Lol.
Hey what's up Scott! Thank you for all the help working on this car and helping me make everything perfect on it. Your knowledge about the om648 and E320 CDI is impressive! I'm definitely enjoying the car I think I've put 150 miles on it so far. It's the nicest car I've ever owned as far as ride quality and comfort.
love it love it... curious about how many personal cars you have and what types? If you have a bunch maybe just curious the one you daily drive and the one you've had the longest?
I drive an old 1999 Ford 7.3 F250 diesel pickup truck. My other vehicle is a 2001 Ford 7.3 diesel Excursion. Owning a shop and being in the car business I have to have big trucks to constantly haul around cars or parts.
Price is really unique to each individual car and it depends on the overall condition mileage service history and the repairs that need to be done. Feel free to shoot me an email with details about your car and I can try to appraise it as best I can.. john@woodsandbarclay.com
Definitely a very nice car. That was probably the BEST Diesel Mercedes ever made. That mileage is nothing for that car. Too bad it's Black as the dark colors tend to require a lot of care to keep looking good
I just wish I had to go back months ago to get this gem, it seems you have the knowledge about this model. I'm not going to say it's not a beautiful car, but I really don't see the benefits versus a gas model.. I'm sure they have benefits. Great review, nonetheless!
Great job on the mini restoration. The best diesel Mercedes has ever made 648 engine!!!
😎 glad you're enjoying the videos
i love your wood trim piece - yes i saw how you loved it - you were petting it at one point
😂
Love how you take care of these cars! Excellent
It's my passion John I absolutely love doing this!
I use to drive a 1974 280 and a 1989 300e . Enjoyed them both .

I agree with you. I put about 150 mi on this car and it's easily the best driving car I've ever owned.

You should get the man who details your cars to give you some
detailing lessons. I like the trim around the shifter. Well done!

Hahaha yeah I was really proud of that wood trim replacement. You're right it's beautiful!
It’s a pretty one John.
I really hope you enjoy it as long as possible.
Awesome machines.

I've got the same car in platinum blue metallic. Do you still have the part number for the wood shifter surround? Mine is cracked up too =(
I don't know the part number but all you need to do is go on eBay and type in 2006 E320 shifter wood
What’s a ballpark sales price for these with same mileage? I’m looking at a similar unit and would like to know if the price is roughly right.

helen took such nice care of that car - looks like she hardly sat in the seat
😎👍

Well it lasted this long and still looks great. I think if somebody just has a garage that's all you really need to keep it looking good.

The benefits compared to the gas model are 40 to 50 miles per gallon and an engine that will last twice as long :)
@10:40 no, no... i like to hear about your wood trim - just keep going...
Hahahahaha
How much is it going for thanks
This car has already sold. However you can see all of our inventory at www.woodsandbarclay.com
Top top
Only the best ;)
Parts are worth more than the car 😂
You can pick up these e320cdi for relatively inexpensive. Yes if you were to try to buy all the individual Parts they would be more than the vehicle.
