Hy... I have one doubt in equation which is usually seen in valves catalog P =( (36 x Q) / Kv) ^ 2 P - KPa Q - L/s I would like to know how 36 constant came?? If it is conversion of l/s to m. Cube/hr, it is 3.6...how it become 36??
Your video quality and communication is top notch. Very good explanation and excellent content on pure practical engineering principles and processes. Keep up the great work!
Can we have a video to calculate a circuit from a pump to a pipeline to a control valve and to the heat exchanger? How much is the pressure drop through the pipeline ,control valve and the heat exchanger
thank you but i have a question here you have said the max CV is at 70/100 of valve opening , so if the valve gets 100/100 of opening what we can say about CV in this case? wich value will take?
At 1:30 it was said that the valve would have a lower CV as the valve tends to "close". Perhaps I am missing a point. I would say the valve is "opening" when traveling from 90 deg. to 10 deg. Thank you for this presentation.
Thanks for your support. Do you mean How to calculate Ball valve torque? most of time ball valve will use torque wrench to test valve operation torque. valve operation torque are difficult to calculate very accuracy.
Question: I would like to understand more on your tips that the valve more accurately between 30% to 80% opening, why is this so? Or does it actually depend on the valve trim configuration, and one must get advice from the valve manufacturer? Thank you, this is a very good video..
Great video information 👍👍👍 thanks for sharing your knowledge ♥️🇵🇭
Excellent material!
Too good explained
Thanks for upload this video bro I am understanding for easily for what is the CV
Great video tks, But note that at 11th minutes, the SCFH stands for Standard cubic feet per HOUR, (SCFM would be per minute)
Oupps should have said at the 8th minutes
the unit should be hour not minute

P - KPa
Q - L/s

Cv in datasheet is flow media Cv?

very helpful! you're presentation is clean and simple. It's also informative and to the point which is great! thank very much! keep it coming
Nice need a case study and basic troubleshooting . Along with PLC . Suggest any good book for valves

Thank you for this presentation.
Thanks for your valuable presentation sir
I just have no words to say Thanks for giving the detailed information...God bless you..
Very nice, concise and comprehensive presentation. Thank you for posting it. Keep posting the videos....
does this sizes in inches will match to the internal or external diameter of the pipe.
Thanking you very much
Excellent presentation. Two thumbs up.
very clear explanation. Thank you
Pl explain about torque of ball valve in ur next video
Very good explanation. ..Please also post video of how to calculate six torque and MAST for Ball valves.
Thanks for your support.

Torque, As a manufacturer to give the details for sizing suitable Actuators...Want to know how it is calculated
Is this chart is applicable for all types of butterfly valve ??
Sir, for pressure relief valve how we can calculate the CV
Tharvesh Rahim Cv’s are not calculated but determined by the valve design
Can u please explain how to calculate CV for Butterfly Valves in Water System

I didn't fully understand your question. Do you mean why is Cv value different for 30% opening to 80% opening?
Good video. What is Xt in the table (at the end of video)? Also, can valve deterioration be found with help of Cv ? Thanks for your time.
That was a very good video. Thank you very much
老师是湖北人吗?
Beautiful.
EXPLAINED VERY NICE.
thanks a lot for the video
Best
Nice information.. please keep posting new videos.
Thanks for your support. I will continue update my video soon
Excellent 👌
Thank you Sir.
Excellent.
excellent presentation. Thanks
Thanks for your support.
very very good thank you
You're welcome
thanks for the video. but can i have a cheatsheet for cv calculation?
Dear Sir.
Please let me know how to convert Cubic meter per hour to Bubbles per minute. I hope you will reply me quickly
