Yes, I have not considered V notch ball for a general valve selection since inherently ball valves are suitable for On-Off compared to control. But V notch is a special case to be considered only when other designs cannot satisfy the engineering requirement. Example : Low DP across valve , Quick flow demand etc thanks for sharing your knowledge😊

Yes. For better control we can go for v notch type ball valve.
