There have been more difficult shots that goalkeepers have saved and plus positioning is pretty important too, so maybe in this instance a goalkeeper like Courtois would have better positioning, allowing him to save the shot. Ah yes,USA.Where only American teams(1 from Canada😂) play the 'World Series' in Baseball, the champions in Basketball and American football. The sports no other countries actually care much about or have enough infrastructure or fan base to support these sport because these sports are basically not anyone's top priority.The fact that they called the sport American football just about sums up how ignorant Americans are of other world sports because they might actually have to face better teams if they start taking other world sports too seriously.Instead lets stick to these three sports only Americans care about so that we are always number one is those.And please don't come with the justification that you guys are great in the Olympics.Its just Athletics and events like swimming that you guys win at,not world sport.In fact USA didn't even qualify for soccer in the last two olympics, most counries' most of the first team players in soccer don't actually play in Olympics.Still US couldn't qualify. That's how bad the country has obnoxiously ignored world sports while living in their own world thinking they are number one because they are good at sports only they play and care about.When you look at it,The entire US history has been like that.Changing the entire metric system the entire world use and coming up with their own so that they can feel more important.Even coming up different values for shoe and cloth size just for the heck of it,Americans have always had the need to do anything to make themselves feel important.SAD!

well im kinda glad we missed out this year, but dissapointed the way how. First off, all the vets who were starting in the qualifiers are no longer part of the team. And secondly, now that the US is just young developing players it would just be a wasted slot in the world cup. I mean, yeah it would be nice to see your country in the world cup. But knowing deep inside that their not going anywhere with a bunch of teens relieves me just a little bit.

Deb Sourav brasil 2014 qualifiers usa was in, as well as costa rica, panama had the chance of play off spot if finish 3rd with win or draw against usa, mexico would've been 4th and eliminated because costa rica beat them that night, but 10 minutes to go usa unexpectedly picked up the pace and scored 2 goals to beat panama thus giving mexico salvation and the play off spot vs new zealand...pretty fucked up.
