Why do you have to enter you password again in the incoming and outgoing server settings?
Incoming and outgoing mail servers are essentially two different types of services. You could have a mailbox setup where you use one server to receive your messages, and at the same time use another server to send your messages. This may be considered a non-standard setup, as in most cases the incoming and outgoing mail server settings are the same, but it is still possible to use different servers for receiving and sending messages, which is why mail programs may ask users to enter their credentials for the incoming and outgoing mail server separately.

Hello. This sounds like an intermittent iOS bug. Please try re-entering the password under Incoming Mail Server and tap Done afterwards, so the email account can be verified once again. If the issue persists, try re-entering the password under Outgoing Mail Server.

If you are an ICDSoft customer, log in to your hosting Control Panel and check the hostname in the left pane > "Server name" section. Once you have the hostname, you need to add mail. in front of it when configuring your Mail app. You can also submit a support ticket and our support team will get back to you within a few minutes. In case you are not hosted with us, contact your hosting provider in order to obtain your mail server hostname.

How to add the calendar?
This video only shows how to add an IMAP email account in your iPhone's Mail app. ICDSoft does not offer Microsoft Exchange services, so you can't have an Exchange account with us. If you have an iCloud, Google, Exchange, or Yahoo account, you have the web address of an existing calendar (.ics), or you have a third-party CalDav account, you can share calendars as described at:

I've done all this and it's set-up, however when I go to send an email from that account from my phone it just comes up with the error message 'Cannot send mail. The server rejected one of the recipient's addresses. The message has been placed in your Outbox.'?? How do you set it up so you can send mail? I can receive it, but can't send it from my phone? (without the quotes, but with the dot) in front of the server name when you enter it as mail server Host Name. If you are not using our services, you need to contact your mail service provider for the correct server name you need to enter as Host Name.

this does not work for advanced SSL or port settings.
The email ports on our servers are the standard ones and you shouldn't need to set them explicitly or change them. As long as you use the correct server address for email, encryption should work with the default settings.

This is 2 years old, so not sure if you'll see this. Even thought I add a password, iPhone says there isn't a password. Has anyone else had this problem?

The iPhone message "No password provided" could be a result of issues with the mail server settings. Make sure that you have entered the password both for the incoming and outgoing email servers (at two different places). Also, make sure the mailbox username is set correctly. Not everybody has an iphone. This does not help with my phone.

If you are using ICDSoft's email services, then following the instructions in the video should allow you to view all mailbox folders. However, if you are using another email provider, their settings might differ. In this case, it is better to ask your provider about the exact settings (eg. "IMAP path prefix").
