How to do this for half the money. No controller a real mixer but a 4 channel affordable analogue one nothing fancy no need for a controller and a whole seperate mixer just for the mic that's backwards! Second maybe most important. Learn how sound works and recognise building a speaker box yourself? Leaves you free, can up the db up to Herz range. No rebuilding everything to try and make it run on 12v. Get a decent deepcycle battery and a 12to either 110/220 volts converter. Now you just have a socket like at home. You'll spend most on all parts soundsystem related apart from the wood. But this here is half a step forward and 3 backwards

Sounds good.
Awesome video, my one concern is you did not factor in the purchase of music. I use iTunes and a computer for my djaying and each song is at least 99 cents, up to $2 per song. That adds up quick. In 6 years for music alone I have spent in the neighborhood of $10,000.
Those 'Chinese lights', how do these stack up to branded pars? Less bright? Shorter lifespan? Or just built less solid but the same performance?
Check out the comparison video I did on them
So you didn't start out with a sub speaker?
Correct. Just tops
@DJ Rick Web so is a sub needed or does it depend on the event? If so what can you give me an example of the type of event where one is proper to use? I have a sub, so where should I put with this set up?
Sub. Always makes the sound better.
@DJ Rick Web where would I place the sub in the set up in your video?
Either in front the facade or under the table
What brand is the Facade? The link no longer works so I want to find it elsewhere if I can get the name. Thanks!
Oh man lovin it!
Great vid! :D
Excellent video guys but sorta confused how you connected the mixer to the DJ deck ?
The pioneer 200 deck uses Bluetooth to connect to your device (iPad, iPhone, smart phone) then the audio comes out the devices headphone jack and that then goes into the mixer
Good vid. Where would you put a Subwoofer to work with this set up?
good luck getting a gig with that set up but good advice I would actually place the price range to 2500 - 3000 if you're actually trying to make money from djing
yea we don't know anything u right
Great video, but you did not use a subwoofer. Subwoofers, of course, can often be the most important element. Did you or Eric get by without using a subwoofer in your first setups?
Absolutely and Eriks whole company never uses subs. They do 600+ weddings a year never with a sub
This is my exact setup but I have a better controller and a big 18in sub
Rick did you cut your own hair? No shade just super curious
Absolutely
DJ Rick Web lmfao
Where’s the link to the long speaker power cords?
Oh my bad. I knew I would forget something. I will add it this evening when I sit down at the office
15' speaker power cable amzn.to/2VwXuoO
Hey Rick do you have another recommendation for the mini mixer? The one suggested is on back order and was needing one for this weekend.
I use the yamaha 6 channel mixer all the time. But it's a little more expensive
@@DJRickWeb Thank you!!! I got the speaker stands and mics via your Amazon link. Had to order the Pioneer fro B&H. Going to Guitar center tomorrow for the EVs and Yamaha mixer
Thank you guys definally im getting that falcade good price
they are great, we have money for nicer ones but we still opt for those for convenience. lol
forgot to mention an effect or wash light to illuminate the facade ......and the related or adjusted cost.....DJ G from New Zealand....
Adjusted cost? Lighting a facade is not a priority
@@DJRickWeb ...well in down under we LIGHT the Facade from the DJ side obviously know quite a few DJs and the verdict is IN light it up........even the adverts to sell the various versions of these bi fold facades use colored light to light the facade in demonstrating there value.......also you the SECOND American based DJ to give advice...and most if it rocks but the SECOND American based DJ NOT to mention or have/add Headphones?.......and yes easy enough to DJ without them.....but they use HEADPHONE LOGOS for most DJ related gear and TH-cam Channel's like yours.....lets face it if you meet a guy in a local bar and he said he a local DJ and didnt have them around his neck....you would think.....ok🤔🤔....BUT if He had them round his neck it would be a forgone conclusion.....anyway you two guys are great excellent advice and good video production value....I appreciate your channel......but if i see if something is overcooked edited out or omitted I WILL ASK THE QUESTION.....
enjoy your day!!...(by the way we have to spend 2 and a half grand to get the same basic setup you showed...).......
@@glenndunlop9949 He just includes things you need to entertain people. What you are talking about is just for looks, and not needed to entertain people 💯
@@villanousspyder405 sure....yes looks....absolutely.......BUT you need to draw attention to the DJ so illuminating the facade would be the way to go....it finalizes the "look".....most clients i deal with (yes I already have all the dj gear).....have a idea of what type of lighting they desire.....and when i do a random event HEAPS of people approach me and comment on my illuminated facade....and yes....it is JUST LOOKS but clients want a look and a DJ....
@@glenndunlop9949 You don't NEED attention 🤣 That's just something that benefits you not the client. 🤷🏻♂️ I'm not saying you can't do what you are describing but if you are just starting out you don't need those things right away. Only things that are needed is what was shown in the video as a beginner Dj. 🙏💯
What’s your opinion on the pioneer ddj800?
It's okay. But only rekordbox sucks
@@DJRickWeb what's wrong w rekordbox
Is it really safe getting use speakers ?
Just have to validate the seller
i perfer the ddj 400 not the ddj 200
And in how much time this can pay out?
Times are tough - way to get creative!
Quarantine made him cut his own hair lol
Yep
i just shaved mine lol same
How to do this for half the money.
