I have this myself and done a quick review on it myself. It's absolutely brilliant value and has also had a software update since I got it. I also did a fair bit of tweeking the picture settings and my was it worth it 😎🔥🔥
I’m interested in seeing your calibration settings. I own the 55” model, and I’m trying things myself, but I’m no expert 😂 lol. I don’t know if it’s just these TVs, but It’s much harder than it looks! They have so many modes and options. Also just a tip, you can alter BOTH local dimming and backlight separately by accessing the backlight slider. For some reason local dimming intensity is hidden in there first, and backlight is underneath that but only if you press down. You can’t alter the backlight slider otherwise.
Hey Ben - settings video coming in next few days. And thanks for the tip - it took me a while to find local dimming setting, but after like 100 visits to the settings menu now I know exactly where it is :). Have you tried different intensities of local dimming? Which would you prefer?
@@TVguyDarko that’s good news, I look forward to that video 😄 and it’s awesome to hear how much effort you’ve put into making it. 👍 As for dimming options, I’ve found high local dimming to give the most vivid and interesting picture, especially in hdr. It can be quite bright though, so I’ve been turning it down to low/medium for when I want easy viewing or longer sessions. I’ve also been experimenting with the adaptive contrast, I’ve found it compliments local dimming nicely.
Poz, Darko. Hvala unapred i veliki pozdrav.
I bought the model 50u7qf and connected to my xbox one x, but it couldn't recognise the hdr function. It shows that my TV can run 4k at 60fps but no hdr was detected at all. Xbox told me this TV device doesn't support any HDR function. I plug the cable in the HDMI3 dock. Does it matter anything? Can anyone tell what's wrong with my settings or the TV itself?

Hello, does Dolby Atmos from Netflix work on the U7QF??
looking forward to the review on this ......please check if it can take 1080p 120hz signal
No, its 60 hz native panel..
It’s 60hz. this is the U7 for 2020, but the 2020 u8 is 120hz, but like many TVs, there’s no 2.1 hdmi.
@@benshaw3891 but, u 8qf can take max at 1440p/120 fps on hdmi 2.0

Can you please do a calibration setting video for Samsung Q80T 55” please?
If I get i for testing I’ll make settings video. Until then, use my Samsung 2020 tips.
What size of screws do you use for the base
Why did you not choose hisense 65U8QFIL TV for review? Which company do you prefer more tcl or hisense?

Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, you will need standard coax cable to see live TV.
