Dont take medicines rather do meditation at night means when u r sleeping.. Simply just observe your breath that incoming and outgoing breath just know it and trust me you will sleep automatically... Medicines is not good for health in long run...

Before listening this info I tried some tips which are mentioned in this video by my own and those helped me a lot. However because of waking late night I often suffer from sleep paralysis, could you tell me about this also?
In the waking state, thoughts come 'automatically' in our minds. For example, i myself don't know what thought will come into my mind say after 10 minutes, 20 minutes etc. When thoughts come automatically to our mind, it 'seems' to us that we have consciouly 'thought' them. Similarly, while sleeping also thoughts come 'automatically' to our minds.
