  • A quick tip on how to carry yarn and change colors in a single crochet graphgan. I'm breezing through this Forest Friends Blanket with no ends to weave in! I'm making it as an accessory for the adorable crochet animals in my new book Crochet Cute Forest Friends. Now available for Pre-Order!

Are you turning after each row? What does the back look like?

I want to try something like this. Maybe a washcloth first?

I want to do a graphghan so bad but can not deal with all those bobbins ughhh . Could i do a complete graphghan by carrying the yarn the whole blanket ? Would you suggest that ?

I’ve been carrying the yarn with on mine. I feel it comes out stiff and the colors see thru. I may try cutting long strands of yarn and if need more in areas to connect same color. This way I’m not thickening up the rows and making my square design too stiff!
