But Little King John's song is actually even more touching then Summer Solstice Baby's. For you see, he conveys his ever draining sanity and eternal loneliness and the only comfort he has left is over producing goods that he adores which eventually rot away like his hope. The potato knish represents his purity and hope, while the black balls of squash represent said hope being crushed by himself due to losing faith in everything in his life. As for the centipedes. They are what he longs to be while the worms are what he actually is. He knows he can never be what he wants and therefore, goes mad.

I watched this to try to get some context for "Potato Knishes."
But there was none.
+BroneDoesThings watch the other episodes. He confiscated the factory.
In every person, there is a good and evil consciousness. Little King John is a representation of Ratboy Genius' soul, hence his ability to stretch and grow. The strange king is, in fact, a nice king with a wonderful kingdom, almost similar to Ratboy. However, he has been corrupted by Ratboy's evil consciousness.
He was put into a position of power not by himself, but the evil within Ratboy, which is the reason Little King John yearns to take everything, i.e. the Happy Factory and the Starship Island from The Flood. Summer Solstice Baby is a different case, as Ratboy Genius loves her, hence the reason his soul, Little King John, wants to take her.
Now there are two new characters reveal in Ratboy Dreams Minecraft, the Professor and Clyde. The Professor has good intentions, as he sends Ratboy and Summer Solstice back to the real world, therefore, he represents the good consciousness. Clyde seems innocent enough, until you realize that there's only one more role left in Ratboy's dream, and that is the evil consciousness.
Sending Ratboy Genius onto the Roller Coaster was a diversion. In addition, he tell him to go to the Stronghold Playground and find the Professor. Finally, he establishes himself to be Little King John's friend.
You see, the Professor is the only one who know how to escape Ratboy's dream, and that's realizing that you're in one. Clearly, Clyde doesn't know how to escape, but perhaps he knows what Ratboy is up to. He is his evil consciousness, after all. Sieging the Happy factory was the plan after all. Perhaps he needed the factory to create tools to escape or track the professor.
Little King John is being used as a pawn. Clyde taught him his evil ways, and John is ignorant of it. King John only wants to bake; he originally had no evil intentions until he was corrupted. This is what "Potato Knishes" represents. It's the same reason why Little King John never tried to kill or capture Ratboy Genius at the end of the series. He couldn't bring himself to do so.
When a dream ends, all of the memories from said dream are washed away, and only faint, but important thoughts survive. This is the "Great Deluge". As Ratboy's choice, he decides to bring everyone from his dream back to the real world except for King John and Old Froggy. Little King John was able to survive due to Ratboy Genius remembering his adventure in Minecraft. Old Froggy was faintly remembered from his great flight, but soon faded out of his memories as soon as episode one of "The Flood" ended.
It's unknown what Clyde's greater purpose is after escaping Ratboy's dream, but I believe that he was characteristically made by Ratboy's mind to rule the galaxy, hence the striking resemblance to the Caterpillar Minister's hat. Potentially, the minister is able to control minds due to his political power. It would make sense if Clyde could do this too.
I'd explain Sneezy's role in "The Flood", but that's a different story for another time. This is all just a theory anyways....

Honestly as absurd as it sounds there could be logic to this - her name, "summer solstice baby", has to do with the longest day of the year (the summer solstice). But she prefers the winter. So she can only "feel" completely, i.e. let out her true emotions, when the days are small/short in mid-winter.

This is my favorite RBG video, ever, and the one I keep coming back to watch. The piano song that plays for LKJ and Baby is so beautiful and perfectly on cue with the emotions playing out between them. I especially love that sad little pause as LKJ gazes at the back of her head after her rejection. And then the abrupt way he thrusts himself into a song about his industry (Potato Knishes) is both sad and disturbing. To top it all off, we get a special number from Baby herself, a gentle song that stands in sharp contrast to LKJ's. This whole episode is a treat to my kokoro.

I mean, I might not be right, but I feel like the "if anybody wants to know" thing is how she describes her inner sadness and isolation when Little King John kidnaps her. She wants to be free from that dang kingdom and with Ratboy Genius. Maybe by "some things are different some things the same" she's talking about how (since LKJ is RBG's alternate ego) some things are the same, like the kingdom itself, but it's still different- like LKJ. "I will sing this song and they'll never hum along"- she means that Little King John doesn't understand that she wants to be away from him. "I feel completely when days are small"- she's probably bored at the kingdom and spends most time waiting for RBG to save her.
Idk, a lot of people are saying that Summer Solstice's songs don't make sense; that's what that one always meant to me, so I'm just wondering if someone else had that same theory or if I'm right or not XD
