    My favorite grape varietal is Sangiovese, with the close second place being Nebbiolo. I love how similar it is to Pinot Noir in reflecting the terroir and even in how hard it can be to both grow and vinify. When they're good, they are fabulous tho!!
    I usually prefer Barbaresco to Barolo, but we're talking nuances.
    Don't mind Barbera grape either, quite to the contrary. I know people go nuts over the French but to me, there's just something magical about Italian wines, whether they're Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico or some more affordable version of Sangiovese. I actually find the combination of Sangiovese and regular Montepulciano d'Abruzzo very enjoyable.
    Primitivo, Zinfandel or whatever they call it on the eastern side of the Adriatic is amazing too, Malvasia...omg, I could go on and on.
    That's why I enjoy these Italian series of yours so much, but looking forward to everything else!

    Great interview , you should change the video title name , like , why barolo is a expensive wine . O something more attrative. .
