A couple notes from someone who has messed with this build a lot: God Riven Crescendo Magistar is definitely going to give you the biggest damage numbers (and obviously the biggest radius), but I find myself using this build most in short missions where Crescendo isn't worth it at all (nuking through Exterminate bounties is my biggest use case, though I still use Wukong for several other mission types as you said, that's a Perspicacity build not as suited to big slams). Without Crescendo, you're not getting the extra benefits of the incarnon form, and it falls slightly behind the best option for fast clearing level 100-200 missions which is: The Arca Titron (feat. Melee Influence and Roar subsume). What it loses in slam radius and raw damage it makes up for with electric influence's LoS-ignoring room nuking potential. I find it a much smoother experience overall than Magistar, and the damage is so high it doesn't really make much of a difference. Just slap a corrupt charge on there for perma-2x combo and you're good to go, no setup needed, screaming right out of the gate. Also, while Wukong is definitely the best for this playstyle, any frame can get pretty fluid slam chaining by roll cancelling the heavy slam into another jump-slam. It requires a lot of keyboard mashing and it's still not as good as Cloudwalker, but it does let you swap out to Saryn and do absolutely comical amounts of damage with Toxic Lash. I'd be genuinely curious to see this actually compared to mirage for exterminate, I feel like the speed and maneuverability of Cloudwalker is so easy and smooth, you'd have to have very good parkour to consistently match its pace. Not to say a fully modded out speedrun frame (or Titania) can't fly through mission rooms at a million miles an hour, but you trip over one rock on the ground or get stuck on one doorframe, and you're losing a huge amount of that advantage, while Wukong requires basically no skill to play very close to optimally. Slightly lower ceiling maybe but WAY higher floor.
Note: melee range on a riven or mod won't increase slam radius. And of course cc and CD on a riven, with either initial combo or heavy attack efficiency would probably be my Grolls.
@@Killa_Mattic yeah heavy efficiency is definitely the way to go for crescendo magistar, though that's less useful for other magistar riven uses (khora). Initial combo is good for other hammers besides FragorP since you will need to use corrupt charge otherwise and that's a pretty bad use of a mod slot.
It's worth noting that it takes time for the combo to charge back up to the initial combo value. You deal less damage if you spam heavy slam before the count hits 12x again. Personally I'd use melee exposure as the arcane and swap out the elemental mods for something else like initial combo and smite mod.
Came back to warframe after a year and all I saw were wukongs and hammers with like 1 guy doing 80% of the total squad damage. I just didn't think people would be using him that much after the AOE Nerf

I’ve ran into a few slam Wukongs but this is my first time seeing it from their point of view and holy crap I can see why they choose him for this.
Asia servers really love wukong and this build made it even more rampant. The worst part is they dont even talk in english and you just get ******** in the chat and you're left wondering what are they even talking about.
Those ****** are chinese word, i feel u man.and i start killing enemies with my harmony ,they start ragequiting because i every hit on my harmony is damage cap. The damage calculation for the team keep reset when i hit damage cap.

I've been running Melee Crescendo on Sancti Magistar and Syam to nuke groups and clear out 40+ meter long corridors in two swings with Valkyr on Conjunction Survival Omnia Fissures on SP lately and most of the time the Wukong player on the team either gets aggressive in trying to look for enemies to kill or extract after 5 minutes... One time I held 90% Damage Dealt with Ivara and Cinta by sniping 5-10 headshots in a single shot while on her dashwire and the Wukong just straight up left. Another time I was doing Alchemy fissure with her and a Blast Nataruk and the Wukong told me to go "fuck myself" in Cantonese. I don't know what I did wrong, but I was dealing 63% damage while he was doing around 30%. Is this really a normal occurence??

Give his clone an Epitaph with fulmination for priming (Unequip primary so that he just uses that). Melee crescendo for longer missions but Melee exposure for everything else since you will always be at max 240% corrosive damage
Yeah you have to hold out your secondary before holding the switch weapons button to hard switch to melee. This way makes it so wukong clone will use Epitaph even if you have a primary equipped

Just when i was having fun with my subpar slam build with valkyr 4th plus sancti magistar incarnon, DE probably gonna nerf slams. And im still farming the bronze nira mod
The problem here isn't hammer, it's Wukong. I also run a Valkyr build with Magistar Incarnon and Syam and I always get more kills in Survival fissures than the 3 Wukongs in my team because Valkyr actually has a built-in grouping + finisher ability with Prolonged Paralysis to build up Crescendo stacks. Dispatch Overdrive and Eternal War also gives enough movement speed and attack speed to comfortably bullet jump cancel out of the slam's recovery animation. Obviously Wukong can also gather Crescendo stacks fast with Vazarin's Void Snare, but do you really expect them to have thought about that? They can't even stop slamming for a second to revive a teammate during Archon Hunts or realize that their slams ain't doing jack shit to the spectral Vomvalysts.
I dont think this will get nerfed as hard or even nerfed at all. This requires much more setup (having to get incarnon magistar from circuit, or sampotes from duviri for example) and isnt an AFK build like Zarr Wukong was. This requires players to actually move and still press ability and attack buttons. The reason Zarr Wukong was nerfed was because the clone was doing all the work with no repercussions.

You don't even need Magistar Incarnon, I'm already seeing MR 10 players flying around with him and an Arca Triton too tunnel visioned in looking for enemies to kill. Most of the time they straight up ignore the objectives or a downed teammate on stuff like Archon Hunts or worse - bring them into content where he doesn't contribute shit like Tridolons thinking that their crutch loadout is gonna carry them. I once spent an hour killing Thraxes in SP Conjunction Survival alone because the Wukongs didn't have a built amp or Focus tree, and I had to chase them across the map while avoiding 3 nullifiers and Violence because they all refused to camp. The funny part? They're so tryhard with damage but won't commit to improving their builds so when I pull out my Crescendo Valkyr with a 12x Heavy Attack spam or Zipline Ivara with Cinta that can two shot 3-4 rooms worth of long corridors in SP Lua before those Wukongs can even reach them, most of them ragequit and extract after 5 minutes. Most of them seem to can't bear the fact that there are other builds with more setups and requirements that are capable of nuking rooms better than them. I respect any Wukong player that actually knows what they're doing, what I don't like is how new players use him as a crutch and don't bother exploring other frames, weapons and builds because I shit you not when I say that I've met one of them who sold all their bows - even the Nataruk - because they thought they were all bad and was complaining in region chat on how they can't get into the Bow Only sortie mission.
Only thing from this that can get nerfed is hammers. Every frame has access to the same power wukong just does it better bc of cloud walker. Well.. Unless they n nerf him being able to cancel out of cloud walker with melee slam. That would be upsetting
I saw many players use this build and some of them are sweaty players 😂 This is from my expirience: I joined a party with a wukong ( disruption mission ) and when i tab i saw damage dealt is 95% of the wukong and others is like 3 and 2% and so we done 3 wave now my damage dealt is 50% and wukong dude is 49% then he suddenly typed ********** then quit 😂😂😂
i wonder how well this would work with garuda. use her 4 to force proc slash with the heavy slam, and if you are using the sancti variant the heavy slams would keep her health topped off for infinite energy whenever with bloodletting, plus i think it would be really fun to line up the slam of the century while charging up her 4 like 30 feet in the air on the more open tile sets, like lua.

Seriously, I don't mind the build itaelf but I'm seeing low MR players get carried by this shit every day and end up going to late game stuff unprepared because they never bothered to learn how to mod properly or try out different loadouts. I've been getting people as low as MR 12 going to Steel Path Conjunction Survival omnia fissures without a proper amp or focus school and I had to kill all 5 thraxes every 5 minutes for an hour - which wouldn't have been frustrating if those Wukong players stayed at the camping spot instead of running around 5 rooms away because they were too busy trying to get the most damage on the team. They're so blind that they won't even bother protecting the objective on Interception or reviving someone who's down during Archon Hunts. And Tridolons. Oooh boy, Tridolons. If you have an 7 out of 10 chance to get paired in a oub with a cracked Volt who'll kill the Eidolon before you can even blink, you now have an equal chance of getting paired with a Wukong using a Torid and an Arca Triton doing jack shit. I saw a Wukong try to heavy slam a spectral Vomvalyst for a minute straight while everyone else was taking out the limbs or healing the lures. The crutch problem has gotten so bad that every time I sell Wukong Prime sets I always ask the potential buyer if they have an amp built or are somewhat experienced, because I refuse to contribute to the problem and do the equivalent of handing over the launch button of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile to a toddler.
there are tons of crack fueled slam monkeys in the zariman bounties, that's where I learned the blessing that is slam wukong, super fun for extermination, way more fun than ogris mirage with my kong i can't 1shot archons, it takes about 4 slams to take away half of their HP, which is still fast but not quite a zephyr 1shot, then again I don't have purples taus in my wukong, i have it built specifically for secondaries cause i love going sporelacer wukong as it's a very auto comfy playstyle, the slam build is just something i use when i want to rush a base steel path mission as fast as possible

Mods: Galv Chamber, Hornet strike, lethal torrent, primed pistol gambit (or creeping bullseye), primed target cracker, primed convulsion, primed heated charge, pistol pestilence, and lethal momentum in the exilus (exilus mandatory, primed mods can be replaced for regulars if you don't have em). Warframe Arcanes (optional): Arcane Avenger, Arcane Velocity. Shards (optional): 5 tau orange for secondary crit chance (red crit sporelacer go brrrrrr) Companion: Diriga or Nautilus with a viral+heat weapon. (they keep your cascadia flare fully charged) With this, my wukong twin solos missions on its own, and if i ever decide to shoot, red numbers pop up and my dopamine gets maxed.
I see this build 24/7 in levelcap farms in omnia void cascade, i use maxed build ash with purple melee crit tau shards, cresendo glaive p and i when there is ONE wukong magistar in the party they will almost always do 80% of dmg while i do like 8-10 while also being 3x faster and just as safe. WHEN THERE IS NO WUKONG i do maybe 70% average damage on ash. monkey slammer build is broken af wukong is too good at everything.
this is basically just animation canceling very easy for DE to nerf this without changing much just add animation if u slam from wukong 2 make it scale with heavy wind up speed simple i dont know why it wouldnt this kinda just makes wukong disgusting compared to anything in the game
keep in mind you can do this with ANY form of animation canceling in the game and you literally only have to be a pixel off the ground to preform another slam attack its just timing consistently that is annoying this just makes it mechanically ALOT easier to do on wukong with his 2 which is why i think should be nerfed on wukong alone hes too overloaded and can do too much at this point

Trust me on asia servers, its annoying to join pub exterminate these days. Mission speed and efficiency is all good, but I run solos these days for fun.
I've noticed a bit of a rise of this mentality on exterminate fissures lately as well. Still rare, but I do get people from time to time immediately complaining if I'm not moving at the speed of light, and I play faster then most people do in pub squads o.O
With this little duration and no heavy attack eff mods you ain't gonna hit those 12x heavy hits. For magistar+crescendo you NEED heavy attack eff mod or riven.
On the contrary, more of these videos should exist and more people should use this build in all regions. This way more people will realise how obnoxious this is in pubs and complain to DE to nerf it into the ground

I use the Slam Kong with Arca Titron to do cascades caps, ez af.

you can make him use epitaph without getting rid of primary. he uses the weapon you have before you swap to melee

I've been getting people as low as MR 12 going to Steel Path Conjunction Survival omnia fissures without a proper amp or focus school and I had to kill all 5 thraxes every 5 minutes for an hour - which wouldn't have been frustrating if those Wukong players stayed at the camping spot instead of running around 5 rooms away because they were too busy trying to get the most damage on the team. They're so blind that they won't even bother protecting the objective on Interception or reviving someone who's down during Archon Hunts.
And Tridolons. Oooh boy, Tridolons. If you have an 7 out of 10 chance to get paired in a oub with a cracked Volt who'll kill the Eidolon before you can even blink, you now have an equal chance of getting paired with a Wukong using a Torid and an Arca Triton doing jack shit. I saw a Wukong try to heavy slam a spectral Vomvalyst for a minute straight while everyone else was taking out the limbs or healing the lures.
The crutch problem has gotten so bad that every time I sell Wukong Prime sets I always ask the potential buyer if they have an amp built or are somewhat experienced, because I refuse to contribute to the problem and do the equivalent of handing over the launch button of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile to a toddler.
there are tons of crack fueled slam monkeys in the zariman bounties, that's where I learned the blessing that is slam wukong, super fun for extermination, way more fun than ogris mirage
with my kong i can't 1shot archons, it takes about 4 slams to take away half of their HP, which is still fast but not quite a zephyr 1shot, then again I don't have purples taus in my wukong, i have it built specifically for secondaries cause i love going sporelacer wukong as it's a very auto comfy playstyle, the slam build is just something i use when i want to rush a base steel path mission as fast as possible

Formas: 7 for a maxed out build, it's a really expensive mushroom
Parts: Splat, Haymaker. (for max crit)
Arcanes: Pax Charge (must) and Cascadia flare.
Mods: Galv Chamber, Hornet strike, lethal torrent, primed pistol gambit (or creeping bullseye), primed target cracker, primed convulsion, primed heated charge, pistol pestilence, and lethal momentum in the exilus (exilus mandatory, primed mods can be replaced for regulars if you don't have em).
Warframe Arcanes (optional): Arcane Avenger, Arcane Velocity.
Shards (optional): 5 tau orange for secondary crit chance (red crit sporelacer go brrrrrr)
Companion: Diriga or Nautilus with a viral+heat weapon. (they keep your cascadia flare fully charged)
With this, my wukong twin solos missions on its own, and if i ever decide to shoot, red numbers pop up and my dopamine gets maxed.
Mission accomplished boys 🫡🥂.
I see this build 24/7 in levelcap farms in omnia void cascade, i use maxed build ash with purple melee crit tau shards, cresendo glaive p and i when there is ONE wukong magistar in the party they will almost always do 80% of dmg while i do like 8-10 while also being 3x faster and just as safe. WHEN THERE IS NO WUKONG i do maybe 70% average damage on ash. monkey slammer build is broken af wukong is too good at everything.
this is basically just animation canceling very easy for DE to nerf this without changing much just add animation if u slam from wukong 2 make it scale with heavy wind up speed simple i dont know why it wouldnt this kinda just makes wukong disgusting compared to anything in the game
keep in mind you can do this with ANY form of animation canceling in the game and you literally only have to be a pixel off the ground to preform another slam attack its just timing consistently that is annoying this just makes it mechanically ALOT easier to do on wukong with his 2 which is why i think should be nerfed on wukong alone hes too overloaded and can do too much at this point

Yes, you can try arcane dexterity for primary and secondaries. I think its the one that gives 60% dmg on melee kills and 7.5s combo duration

So... the build is far from optimal, but its close enough to experience how utterly broken slam is at the moment.

Trust me on asia servers, its annoying to join pub exterminate these days. Mission speed and efficiency is all good, but I run solos these days for fun.
I've noticed a bit of a rise of this mentality on exterminate fissures lately as well. Still rare, but I do get people from time to time immediately complaining if I'm not moving at the speed of light, and I play faster then most people do in pub squads o.O

You can just do another slam if you have the attack speed. Cancels the animation by itself. Easier to try with Wisp buff if you're not used to it.
