Thanks for the review. How does it handle the rain and how often do you have to clean it? Does it stop working if the underside gets clogged up with grass ??
yes, it can handle rain and it has a rain sensor, so it stops driving when it rains. I clean it roughly once a week from larger grass clippings, only properly when changing trade fairs
Once I am all set up with Luba 2 using an iPhone with a hotspot may I grab an iPhone with no WiFi no 4g but just Bluetooth to operate it? I’m in a location with no WiFi, multiple users, I can get 4g with hotspot but would rather just dedicate an offline cellphone with no connectivity other devices Ian Bluetooth to it directly from the nonconnected iPhone. Thank you.
The WiFi is initially only needed for updates and for remote operation. The app on the phone also needs internet. You will be connected to the cloud every now and then. Especially if several people want to use the Luba with the same smartphone, you have to log into the cloud again and again, as only one phone can be connected to the Luba.
@@Steelpanther48 thank you. This is what I was thinking…. Thank you for not having me run down this rabbit hole. Can I have 3 smartphones linked to the Luba 2 with the ability to operate it?
The bigest question is, how to disable the annoying beeping when bumbimg into obstacles. 2 hours of mowing, 2 hours of beeping, not the best with neighbors.
by setting it so that it does not drive into anything. What kind of obstacles do you have? Mine almost never beeps and mows everything without collision
@@Steelpanther48 we have trees and I what to cut them on edge. That’s not possible with no-go areas. With bumping on them, it cuts perfect. Without beeping it would be a dream
why? I have had the Luba since 2022 and have a lot of experience. There are some experiences that are not in the manual or that do not work so smoothly due to the software. Where am I wrong or have I not read or understood the manual? I can make mistakes too.
I didn't mean you, The reason why users have issues with there robot is that they have not read the manual. They do not excatly nead to understand the LoRa protocol but the basics which are described in the manual.
