Maaan that spoke to me. I may not give ultimata to the big guy, but I still feel jerked around when I feel I've been given a bunch of hints and directions and a mind that can interpret them so I can prepare, and then that stuff doesn't happen. Like okay, his plans aren't our plans, but.. what the heck _am_ I supposed to do if it turns out I was clueless? Just sit back and let seemingly random stuff happen? That's so uncomfortable, but I guess it's part of knowing only a tiny fraction of what's going on and having to trust a big ol deity that knows a lot more than we do.
