I've been seeing F&F movies for free at regal and it comes with the Vin diesel ad. It's great to go back. The points were still on my card and they gave everyone a bday popcorn credit.

If you listen to the ending, it seems as if the powers that be ain’t trying to lose that streaming money. I know in certain parts of Brooklyn, outdoor theaters are becoming popular. TBH I can’t see myself going back to indoor theaters, not because of COVID-19 (maybe a little,) but because of the times we’re living in. People are flipping the fuck out more than ever...but I’ll still be checking out F&F 9...the franchise still looks hot.

The people who shout advice at the characters on the screen. The people who agree with them. The slurpers. The crunchers. The elderly people who complain they can't hear for a solid two hours. I busted out laughing when he said “the second concession stand that’s never opened”. That reminded me of the AMC at 84 street & Broadway (pre renovation).
One theater that I live near that AMC used to operate once had three concession stands- and arcade games. But the games went away, and the second and third concession stands at opposite ends of the theater were closed and then walled off.

As someone who worked for Regal a long time ago, this is dead on accurate and hilarious. We don't need a second concession stand in the dimly lit hallway that's tucked behind a wall at the back of the building! We just don't need it!

Oddly enough, the butter machines actually shoot out butter flavored oil. Actual melted butter would make your popcorn too soggy too fast.
Get AMC🚀 stock. Ortex gives it a 10 out of ten for a short squeeze. The hedge funds have allegedly been illegally making fake stocks to bring the price down. It’s called naked short selling. I worked inside a 19K seat arena once. When it's empty, birds that got in during construction- and probably the offspring- they make their presence known.
Seen this so many times at amc!
This would happen at my high school in the big atrium. Occasionally I'd see one of them drinking from a leftover puddle in the water fountains.

I like and laugh at a lot of SNL sketches, but I haven't laughed this hard at one in so long. Beck nailed it. As someone who's ALSO enthusiastic about getting back to theaters this hit me on another level and I loved it
As this season closes can we take a moment to appreciate Beck Bennett stepping his game WAY up this year. From Salt Bae to this & everything in between he killed this season.

OMG! I was laughing tears with this. Off the top of my head, this is one of the funniest things Beck has ever done. Impressed that he was able to sustain that impression for over 3 minutes and not break character at all. Yeah, his impression may have ventured into Stallone territory towards the end, but Beck captured the essence of Vin and the writers parodied the source material perfectly. The dialogue in this was great. All the traditions, good and bad, about the movie experience, were spot on! ("The second concession stand that's never open." LOL!)

"The Aerosmith arcade game" deserved a laugh. That's such a specific and accurate call out.
It's funnier because "Revolution X" came out in 1994 and arcade games really aren't that much different, or better today.

really they are there for big premiere movies, especially midnight releases popular in the early 2000's and in rare cases something up front breaks.
