Music is what you make it to be. If this is the persons interpretation of the song, so be it, I have no problem with it. I got to say, I never saw the song your way, but it's given me a lot to think about.

I'm kinda tired of people labeling Hurt. Hurt is Hurt. It's not emo, or grunge. Hurt captures the aspects of how people's emotions can drive people to write music with intricate and deep meanings, good or bad feelings are expressed with every lyrical note. This does not determine if they're emo or not, just deep. There's a difference. The complexities of music like this is unlikely to be understood by someone who cannot connect with the feelings expressed in the song.

My first time listening to acoustic version, the violin instead of guitar for the end was a nice surprise...awesome.
I just love music...... real music that tells real stories, reminding me of those days that has come and gone.

It makes me think of my mom who is dieing of cancer. Ive only got a few months left with her. Wow i love her so much, i wish i was a better son.
