One thing about the minotaurs I love is how they essentially use brutal tactics and often times “inhumane” strategies with a clear purpose in mind they’ll ravage a world not because they enjoy but because it’ll deprive their opponent of a place to escape backing enemies into a corner and making sure they have nothing.
Zachariah Kersh of the Excoriators has a ridiculously badass back story prior to becoming the chapter master. Not only did the dude win Feast of Blades beating some of the best champions of the Imperial Fists and its successor chapters, but he's also bros with the Legion of the Damned.
Honorable mention to tu'shan chapter Master of the salamanders Dante himself has spoken very highly of him and for Dante to speak highly of you that is notable
Not A chaptermaster, nor an astartes oooorrr even one of the canon characters. But id nominate kitten from the EMPERORS tts (alfabusa) best custodes chaptermaster daddy.
Ironically, the only thing that keeps him from being basically a chaptermaster is that the Custodes *aren't* astartes. As he is the Captain-General, de-facto the Chapter Master of the Custodes.
As a blood angels player and lore buff I approve Dante as top pick for best chapter master. Looking at it critically though none are more worthy of that title. His personal feats are amazing and he is an excellent commander. Not only that, he just refuses to die until his duty ends and that prophecy about him saving the emperor comes to pass. Best commander in the imperium in my opinion. Even the silent king and guiliman respect him, like in meeting with the silent king Dante comes in strapped with what’s basically a mini nuke ready to end the meeting with a bang if anything goes south, and the silent king wears a death mask of sanguinius out of respect for who he’s speaking to. What’s more guiliman makes him lord commander and regent of imperium nihilus, and it’s even written that after all the shit with the tyranids that went down at Baal and the defeat of the swarmlord , the hive mind itself turned its attention towards Baal thinking not of hunger like usual but genuine revenge and retribution. Only Dante and the blood angels could do that.

I have had this thought pondering my mind for quite a while. Which is Better the Emperors Custody versus the Gray knights. Not just combat Which one cost more to produce and which one takes longer to train?
Probably the Gray Knights. While most of their equipment would be at the level (or slightly below) custodes, they use the grenades made of The Emperor's tears, which are obviously very rare and expensive, and not within the Custodes arsenal iirc. In terms of training, Gray Knights again, because they need to master their psyker abilities as much as they need combat training.
@@ismaelsantos5378 I see. thanks for replying So are Gray knights the only space Marines that are equivalent to custodies in melee combat or would they have to be primaris Marines?
@@ghostrhinorhino4287 Melee combat specifically, Grey Knights are probably even with Primaris, but both below Custodes. That's on average of course. Named characters are on another level. For example, the first chapter master of the Black Templars, Sigismund, was so good a fighter that is believed he was at custodes level despite being "merely" a space marine.

To be fair, Dante did get a little help from the Sanguinor getting to the place of trails. On the other hand this probably show how f@ck off important he was to the future and absolutely had to survive.
How does Azrael not make this list? He practically commands the old Dark Angels Legion via all the Unforgiven chapters. He fought Kharn the Betrayer and won - but decided not to kill him, because they both would have died then, and the DA couldn’t afford to lose Azrael (Trials of Azrael, great short audiobook). @@brandonwalker3107 I mean he already died once at the Siege.
Kharn likes losing duels, its his kink. Logan would tear him a new one because of that
@@rykehuss3435
You talking about the Great Khan?
I literally said to myself yesterday “why does no one have videos about chapter masters?” MajorKill is definitely a psyker.
I really liked Sarphedon of the souldrinkers as a chapter master and also very few chapters can boast killing 2 demon princes in one day.
Leman has a drinking party in the warp when Logan Kicks ass in real space.
That is a lot of alcohol
I’m genuinely disappointed that Ordo Draigo isn’t here, no Hams we’re delivered.
Have you made a visit to my ear?! HAVE YOU!?
That's a nice beard you have there sir, I too have a beard
Have you ever tried a TANGERINE?!
Zachariah Kersh of the Excoriators has a ridiculously badass back story prior to becoming the chapter master.
Not only did the dude win Feast of Blades beating some of the best champions of the Imperial Fists and its successor chapters, but he's also bros with the Legion of the Damned.
Dante is the best, but Kayvaan shrike is my personal favorite.
Which Chapter does he lead?
@@leonidas8513 The Raven Guard
@@ysmir01stormcrown72 Raven Guard is my favourite legion how have I not heard of him lol
@@leonidas8513 Well...they are very sneaky bois, so that would be a compliment to him, lol.
@@ysmir01stormcrown72 there's just not much content on Raven Guard unfortunately :( Same with White Scars, Iron Hands and Salamanders
Since every custodian is above and beyond any astartes chapter master, traitor or future traitor alike, ofc Kitten will win :D
Ironically, the only thing that keeps him from being basically a chaptermaster is that the Custodes *aren't* astartes. As he is the Captain-General, de-facto the Chapter Master of the Custodes.
@Gudam diddler doesn’t exactly have much in the way of competition...
Great list and glad your back. Dante is a beast and love that he is getting good books now.
Got to love azrael for having the thought of blowing guilliman's fleet to oblivion just because he could know the DA secret
Actually loving this new format!
Shark daddy in Majorkill’s top 5….*sheds one manly tear*
I am just getting into warhammer and your videos are how I'm learning most of the lore. Keep it up guy!
You big chad keep it up with the content!
Dante is the walking embodiment of the "shit, here we go again" and "I'm to old for this shit" memes
You forgot Marneus Calgar!.... I show myself out
I mean.... He should be on this list... Kinda. He is pretty strong. Ok he is bullshit op but that's true for all these guys right
When no Kaldor Draigo....
Kaldor Draigo is too powerful on this list
@@Madjo-qj2ge that’s true haha
Too much plot armor, too much Bullshit to be included, just like the Ultramarine chapter master.
@@aclock2 I mean, he did banish Magnus twice, Mortarion Once. All the guys in this video have also beaten above their weight too
Though he be dead, I think Sigismund deserves a place among these
Did you guys know that Tyberos crossed the Rubicon Primaris? So Tyberos the largest space marine got even fucking larger
He did what?!
Bjorn the Fellhanded was at one stage the Chapter Master of the Space Wolves and is still active.
Hey man as a necron player I don’t believe that The Stormlord was THAT toxic, but honestly it does sound like he’d do something like that
Holy crap shark daddy looks badass! I really hope big Spartan daddy could be a future release!
Respect to Majorkill for doing this video with a hangover
I know it ain't special but Gabriel Angelos is my favourite
Who would have thought that Majorkill would be the one to solve my Shark Daddy model problem... Now to wait for it to be back in stock. My Carcharodons await their Shade Lord!
Timmy: “But major kill, in space hulk: Deathwing your able to sprint on terminator armor!”
Kaldor Draigo is kinda a Chapter Master. But considering him being the 40k equivalent of Chuck Norris he belongs in the S-Tier category
If shrike isn’t on this list, you’re gonna make me go lock myself in my room and brood
Fun fact: the minotaurs worked with the lamenters causing the lamenters to be put on 100 year death crusade
Dante is on this.
I really like Lucretius Corvo for standing up to the Lion, Ultramarines are honestly pretty cool when Guilliman is around to amp them up.
While he’s by no means my favorite, Marnius Calgar deserves a spot on this list just because of how much he’s done in the Lore.
6:14 that is a fantastic bit of art!
I have never purchased something so fast in my life.
Dante is the epitome of "I'm just built different"
Like he said, he's just a victim of probability, he's a complete and utter badass just because that's who he is, not because he wants to be
Bruh, I just wanna deep strike!
-Dante probably
Azrael, Jubal Khan, and Shrike deserve some love! How about "Another Top 5 SM Chapter Masters." idk alot about Tu'Shan but he could probably be on there too. Add Calgar and you've got 5!
How about Top 10 Battleships next?
Shark Daddy model is legit awesome.
Before watching the video I would assume that we have Dante, Helbrecht and Marneus Calgar on the list. And the space wolf chapter master whose name I always forget
IF you call us Space wolves again... I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD!
@@MrFallenone do you want to be addressed the way Magnus addresses you?
@@MrFallenone alright it's the raging furries then
the custodian tough that for 5 seconds, than yes he's a pretty badass to make a custodes think "hmmmm can i kill him?" for 5 seconds
The forgeworld version is stupid tiny. I'm expecting satisfying size and chonk. Don't let me down
"The Emperor protects, but forgive me if I augment that protection with a 200 megawat forcefield"- Malakim Phoros- Chapter Master of the Lamenters
What about top 5 librarians?
That "not Tyberos" model is dope as fuck man. Let us know when it's back in stock.
@@ismaelsantos5378 I see dope
Tyberos is like a mini-Vulkan..
Especially when you consider that Vulkan was as big as Horus was in his Terminator armor in his Power Armor.
"Necrons have bullshit hacks."
I don't know why, but that unintentional (I think) pun just got me.
Anyways. COMMENT FOR THE COMMENT THRONE
“What’s the saying… a hand for a capital ship…sure!!!” Sounds fair (coming from a Black Templar) love the channel and the unique honesty about the lore!!! Now, tell Timmy to get back to work that holiday won’t pay for itself!!!!
When no Gabriel Seth...
9 hours later the shark daddy is sold out…. Awesome
No Chapter Master Valrak? He, like, broke his neck and is still going hard. Not good enough? Ah well, better luck next time, CMV 🙃
So, I ve been watching some of your videos, and I would like your legendary opinion on a list on space ships. Honor of macragge, the vengefull spirit, blood caller and things like that. I know it requires research but some battle fleet gothic lore could be useful.
You got my support mate.
You know he's knackered when he can't even bring himself to tell Timmy to STFU.
Gotta love: 4. Shark Daddy
To be fair, Dante did get a little help from the Sanguinor getting to the place of trails. On the other hand this probably show how f@ck off important he was to the future and absolutely had to survive.
Hey Majorkill, I love your vids man and I was hoping you'd do the blood angels successor chapter the knights of blood, as they seem pretty badass
I would rank him 2nd after Dante.
nice writing, good sense of humor
First one to watch!
The real reason for the months of shame, was the anti-hackus imperialis couldn’t detect logans speed hacks!
