Well it makes sense for the Loyalist chapter to fight their traitor brothers furiously. But if you think about it, the traitors don't see themselves as traitors, they see themselves as doing the right thing and do the whole "either join me or die" sort of thing.

LUNAR BLOODDROP You prefer stupidity, there’s a narcissistic self righteous anti intellectual streak in the American psyche which makes them oblivious towards their duties and responsibilities to the society. Instead this”Muh Rights” “Muh Freedom” bullshit stops you from thinking about the safety of others.
@@shadow-monger5189 Funny thing, you can have both, but your freedom should be limited at the point where it hurts somebody else, so not wearing a mask isn't exactly an act of freedom, but ignorance. And honestly that quote sounds like an inspirational hot take, not something I would take serious.
@@jonasherbst2710 I agree that an individual can have both, but where we seem to disagree is how. Personally, I think it should be the responsibility of every individual to make themselves safe. This is why we have the second amendment here. In practice, our system is supposed to work bottom up. Of course, at the moment that is very much being tested. But this is also why so many americans take issue with being forced to wear masks, the law by itself is very authoritarian, and ironically the places that are doing the worst economically are also the places where the laws are harshest. The other reason has to do with how politicized the flow of information is in the US. It's a serious problem that we have here, where one source will claim one thing and another will claim the opposite. And I don't mean Facebook and Twitter, although unfortunately many people do get their news from those sites. This causes a lot of people to not trust any singular source. For me personally, it's a matter of numbers and actions taken by governors that make me refuse to wear the mask. For example, the total death toll for Covid in the US is approximately 200,000 people. And the Leading sources that aren't media and come from medical fields all say that of those deaths, 85%, approximately, had a co-mortem. Or a pre-existing condition that aided to the death. Meanwhile, healthy people who did get the disease survived. What's more, and please feel free to check my math and numbers on this, the last time I checked the total population of the United States we had a population of approximatetly 358,000,000 (three hundred, fifty-eight million). When we take the total percentage of the population versus the deaths, we see that a grand total of only 0.0005% of the US population has died from Covid. Now, if nothing else I have said has shocked you, that should. The disease was overhyped in the US to draw in ratings to a dying form of media, in an attempt to get people to tune in to media companies like Fox and CNN. Both of which are horrible, regardless of one's ideology. If you read the whole thing, thank you. :)
@@shadow-monger5189 Red the thing, sure. First of you talk a lot about very specifically us-american issues that I don't know too much off and don't exactly care for. What I am pretty sure off though that wearing a mask isn't hard and doesn't harm me in amy way. I am also sure off the fact that it reduces the damage caused by this disease. Now can I make a judgement on if it is worth it to impose mandatory masks on for example public transport? Not exactly. But I trust that the independent institutes in my country can, so who am I to knowingly harm another being by refusing such a simple and effective courtesy? And I just have to jump in on the thing abiut co mortem and pre existing conditions, because it is a rather ridiculous way to downplay the severity of this disease when many of those pre existing conditions are very well treatable and covid in many cases lead to a rather untimely death of these people. It kind of makes me question your motives here. Edit: Btw, what are you trying to achieve through your line of action?

I say the Carcharodons were Loyalist Night Lords, led by Sevatar, who defected after being captured by the Dark Angels, and the chapter uses only the best prisoners they can get, and trade their oldest stuff in for new stuff when they arrive over a forge world. They also like chain weapons as they're similar to shark teeth. They're also a really good shock troop chapter and are good at hunting tyranids.
I reckon Tyberos is Curze after some mental break causing some kind of hysterical amnesia or something. Rejecting both Night Haunter and Curze sort of thing. Guy's the size of a primarch, after all.

Has hybrid lightning claw/power fist/chain fists on both hands. At one point a tech priest's sensors were telling him he was a statue until he started moving. Never talks above a whisper (I imagine something along how Kharn was described as talking rather than an actual whisper), and barely ever removes his helmet. When he does, he's revealed to be deathly pale with completely black eyes, and half his face exposed bone. The picture I mentioned earlier is from the Badab war, when he entered a duel with a Mantis Warrior who lost an arm in combat. They have wargear dating back to the Unification Wars. 10:52 It's impressive that they can destroy hive fleets, and many other enemies with outdated and rudimentary wargear.
Not really outdated as humanity was basically at it's peak at that point. Technology has been degrading for millennia, so by having 10thousand year old weapons, you also end up having cutting edge technology
10:00 The idea of the Bolter with a chainsaw attachment acting as a sort of "bayonet" is very old school, Rogue Trader rulebook era stuff. If you do a search for Rogue Trader plastic space marines, you'll see them, with all sorts of weapons and accessories within their sprues. Bladed bayonets and chainsaws, etc, to even include large combat knifes (you can call them short swords if you want, they were rather large). As time has gone on with the hobby, those bayonet-like bolter attachments became scarcer and scarcer, to the point you never see official depictions with them anymore. Given how certain Chapters love close combat, you'd figure such things would be featured on their bolters more frequently. Give them a close combat weapon without having to toss aside their bolter. Also love any time the lore references the Badab War. It's old Rogue Trader era fluff. I have fond memories of Rogue Trader and 2nd Edition eras of the hobby.
I think I'm the only one who came from SleepySack to Majorkill rather than the other way round haha. Both have their own unique styles and I can appreciate both channels for different reasons. Definitely worth checking him out.
One thing I don’t get is the night lords connection. Sure they are pretty violent but the Space Sharks have a way different style of warfare compared to them. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they’re Raven guard and World Eaters hybrids
The Carcharodons bear a LOT (and i mean a LOT) of similarities with the Night Lords renegade chapter. They LOOK like them. On the strategic level they fight like them (preffering to strike where the enemy is weakest. if the enemy proves resilient, fall back and strike at the next weakest point), except less stealth and more berserk rage. My theory is that (like nearly all the renegade legions) they were a loyalist Night Lords company or chapter who was on some type of patrol when the heresy went down. at some point they might have returned to terra and begged forgiveness. whoever they talked to had them adopt the name carcharodons and change their colors (like the Blood Ravens), then their origins were probably sealed by the inquisition to be safe.
My personal feeling is the Red Tide is either the Forgotten or the Purged, he's a primarch :) Furthermore, what with Perterabo at some point going into and returning out of a black whole and the new book where the Carcarodons try to retrieve a Void Stone relic, im pretty sure that Big E had a primarch who specialized in such a realm, much the same theology of the wolves and the chaos realm, the sharks in the null/dark matter realm beyond black holes. As far as i can tell the Red Tide is more likely The Forgotten primarch opposed to the Purged.
Night Lords Theory: - Fear and Terror Tactics - Black Eyes and Pale Skin - Always "hunting" in the darkness - Lots of Lighting Claws - Founding a night lords successor chapter without a homeworld would make a lot of sense since Nostramo basicly caused all the Problems of the original Night Lords - Could have been sent to the outer regions of the galaxy after the Night Lords turned Traitors Raven Guard Theory: - sTEalThY
I never thought of Minotaurs as Iron Warriors successors, I always saw Silver Skulls in that role. To me, Carcharadons really would fit in with Night Lords.

Also, because I'm pretty sure Sevatar is playable as of 40k.
"He got so disabled that he'll make Steven Hawking look like an olympic pole vaulter" fucking killed me
New Astartes that joins the Space Sharks, "Captain shall we perform Exterminatus on the planet?"
"You bet your arse we will perform Exterminatus, ready your chainaxes and chainswords brothers"
"Captain isn't exterminatus performed from space?"
"No it is performed in GLORIUS MELEE COMBAT"
I think the Space Sharks and the Minotaurs have a contest for who can commit the most war crimes.
The two space shark books are two of my favourite warhammer 40k books, the space sharks are just a great chapter
Yeah, Sleepy's got a good touch with the editing, I think. Nicely done. Also liked how he turned into Sleepy Attenborough there for a moment, during that shark bit.
9:30 "it was at this moment when the T'au soldier knew.... He fucked up" btw awesome video both MayorKill and SleepySack.
I love how you spent 17 minutes talking about The Carcharodons but did not once mention the only actual Carcharodon model. No love for Ty i guess.
Tell
@@jungleinsectspikewall4474 he's that huge fucker twice as tall as the one armed Mantis Warrior at (I think) around 14 minutes in. One of, if not, the tallest Astartes in canon (his armour is cobbled together from Terminator and Dreadnought parts because nothing else would fit him, he stands about 11ft in it).
To even the odds (as much as can be possible when you're fighting someone half your size) he deactivated one of his chainclawfists, so an honourable dude.
He was also rumored to be the big chapter master boss of the Carcharodons, up until 8th edition fully confirmed it.
@@Maverick2736 and even then, its only confirmed by his ruleset having the "chapter master" keyword.
"A Massive long hard thank you"
The greatest line I've ever heard
Damn, the editing has really become more interesting. Good job.
SleepySack did the editing for this video :) He's still relatively new but he's always improving each video.
@@PyronTheMage Already subscribed to him after this video. Really good stuff
Majorkill: "I'm only gonna say it once, because all the neckbeards will get triggered by my shit pronunciation"
Also Majorkill: *processed to pronounce "tithe" as "teeth" like 10 times*
This is honestly my favorite Chapter. No joke.
Carcharodons vs Executioners is the hypest smackdown ever.
majorkill, your red border on your thumbnails keeps making me think ive already have watched your new vids
Just saying I was first one to recommend SleepySack I was his 75th subscriber
SleepySack is an amazing channel so is majorkill
I muat say i really enjoy the way You are dooing colaborations. Especially with the smaller than yours channel. I habe been watching You regularly from about a year now and i must say, that quality of your content is just improving every week and month. Keep on doing your great work man!
idk why but to me this is the most badass chapter lore video so far
Hell yeah! Shout out to my boy Sleepy Sack his videos are really good and he makes a fine addition to the Warhammer lore community! I highly recommend his Imperial Guard tank videos!
Funny how Girlyman ended up being that man who hold's that power , he supposedly try do deny others with he's stupid book , Lorgar would be so proud
Space Sharks will kidnap your grandma in front of you and depending on your reaction will make you a captain. They're just so silly!
2nd, also space sharks, what did I think they were sharks ‘swimming’ in space like a space whale
Eh, space krakens are a thing. From the title, I was hoping for something my void psyker coudl RIDE INTO GLORIOUS BATTLE
Storm Allen You might not want to find them, I heard a company from the Iron Drakes lost half their number from an attack by a Space Kraken, he vowed vengeance and no one has seen him since.
Star Wars has Space Whales so I’m guessing that Warhammer 40K has some super grim dark evil world eating super whale.
@@imperialfist2304 's why I was excited by the title of the video
@@Titan-ul5bu I believe they do, not necessarily world eating super whales but I recall in one of the books 7 unfortunate whales happens to enter nurgles garden, get rotted out and filled with nurgle bros and plague marines and then used by Mortarion during his crusade against Ultramar, basicly slamming the whales unto the planet as some biological super weapon/ drop pods for the merry plague marines and nurgle deamons inside. It may be a figment of my imagination but I am sure its in one of the books.
9:02 "A large predatory beast has come and molested Abaddon" XD
Greetings from germany brother! Praise the god emperor
and poland!
Is the God Emperor called 'Gott Kaiser' in german? I don't know anything about German, so I ask a native speaker
And Italy!
@@CBRN-115 Der heilige Gott-Kaiser der Menschheit. That's the translation of his title.
Majorkill schauen mit den bres es wird ehrenlos
I thought it was adorable when you called him Sleepy. I'm going to have to start calling him that too haha. Loved this collab :)
your editing definitly went up, keep up the great work
Sleepy is like Majorkill's super hidden serious, poetic and professional personality.
They have wargear dating back to the Unification Wars. 10:52
It's impressive that they can destroy hive fleets, and many other enemies with outdated and rudimentary wargear.
Not really outdated as humanity was basically at it's peak at that point. Technology has been degrading for millennia, so by having 10thousand year old weapons, you also end up having cutting edge technology
The dedicated explanation of sharks was comic genius
Majorkill, awesome work man !! Always can count on you for a Good laugh 💪🏻
I love how they keep killing shit until they die, it's like they need to keep moving to breathe,
y'know, like a Shark
Tyberos sipping tea got me on this one 😂
I couldn't breath when he said "like an American not wearing a mask" HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
Space sharks doing their enemies gimmicks better than they can is always just the juiciest shit. Clap the fuckers
Damn. I'm gonna have to check out Sleepy Sack now.
I think I'm the only one who came from SleepySack to Majorkill rather than the other way round haha. Both have their own unique styles and I can appreciate both channels for different reasons. Definitely worth checking him out.
Sleepy sack is so fking underrated
Editing really IS improved. Great work!
"Like telling an American to where a mask" as an American that gives me a headache because for true it is.
"... A large preadatory beast had come and molested Abaddon..." Yep, made my day. xD
Space sharks are one of the best chapters, I have the space shark books and GW definitely need to write more.......
Carcharodons at your door be like: "Candygram"
One thing I don’t get is the night lords connection. Sure they are pretty violent but the Space Sharks have a way different style of warfare compared to them. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they’re Raven guard and World Eaters hybrids
The Carcharodons bear a LOT (and i mean a LOT) of similarities with the Night Lords renegade chapter. They LOOK like them. On the strategic level they fight like them (preffering to strike where the enemy is weakest. if the enemy proves resilient, fall back and strike at the next weakest point), except less stealth and more berserk rage. My theory is that (like nearly all the renegade legions) they were a loyalist Night Lords company or chapter who was on some type of patrol when the heresy went down. at some point they might have returned to terra and begged forgiveness. whoever they talked to had them adopt the name carcharodons and change their colors (like the Blood Ravens), then their origins were probably sealed by the inquisition to be safe.
they definetly don't do what night lords do
Subscribed to Sleepy, thanks for another great lore video!
"we are surrounded by genestealers...those poor bastards"
I love when you do videos on less known chapters this chapter was pretty cool
Carcharodons, the only chapter that is a walking exterminatis.
As far as i can tell the Red Tide is more likely The Forgotten primarch opposed to the Purged.
no,mr.australia: its just australia; you're gonna go far, kid...
still waiting on the zombie apokolypse
0:56 sleepy sack giving a massive long hard to majorkill, oh my....
I swear that must have been a joke. It was too perfect xD
Your comments briefly appeared in the suggested thst I was so interested in seeing the rest of it I spent like 5min looking for it
Carharodons collide head on into the Minotaurs. A battle i would love to see.
I love there feature in killteam equinox, it was a fan project but it sells the sense of timescale in 40k better than anythimg else
Thanks for covering these guys!
I wonder how they would measure up against oldschool Batmans Shark-repellant Batspray!
Night Lords Theory:
- Fear and Terror Tactics
- Black Eyes and Pale Skin
- Always "hunting" in the darkness
- Lots of Lighting Claws
- Founding a night lords successor chapter without a homeworld would make a lot of sense since Nostramo basicly caused all the Problems of the original Night Lords
- Could have been sent to the outer regions of the galaxy after the Night Lords turned Traitors
Raven Guard Theory:
- sTEalThY
Loyalist have the coolest legions, traitors have the coolest characters in there legions
Yes we are cool
Err... Alpha Legion? And they also get 2 awesome characters.
I mean one. Just one.
I normally don't like collab videos. But this one was done in a very enjoyable way.
Few months ago I had the idea of a sea theme chapter and ask one of my pals to help me. He straight up told me about this chapter and got hook.
Definitely my current favorite astartes chapter. Thanks for the great video.
Sleepy sacks narration is pretty good, I really like the addition of music
Majorkill is the hiddenXperia of the warhammer universe
Who else is looking forward to Space Shark Week?
You get em sleepy
I never thought of Minotaurs as Iron Warriors successors, I always saw Silver Skulls in that role.
To me, Carcharadons really would fit in with Night Lords.
Editing was awesome
