    I love it. Every person I've ever seen had been designing a filament jam sensor using some form of spinning wheel. This design uses 2 of the cheapest stop sensors! And all it took was an attention to detail. What kinds of movements do jammed filaments make? Everyone paid attention only to the face that it stops. Lol
    I'm so impressed by you, man! You're awesome!

    Hey great idea! I just have one issue with the video, you didn't actually show the sensor when the filament was blocked, so I don't even know if this is gonna work as a blockage sensor.
    I'm sure this is a great runout Sensor, but could you please show how the sensor is triggered by an actual blockage?

    Good ideea, but it is not working for direct drive setup. I think it can be adapted though...

    Hey Your model is flawed the file support__improved_2.stl the part that connects to the gantry does not connect to the mount, I printed it and it came apart, the stl file is flawed

    would this be suitable on a direct drive extruder which is getting fed from the top of an enclosure with a different mount?

      Normally it should work. You will just need to design another type of mount. I will think about that.

    I want to see the jammed filament stop the print. Or the runout filament stop the print. I will go check more videos...

    can you please let me know whats the impression till now with this firmware? i have ender 2 v2. Would you recommend it over the original one?

    Bonjour Mamadou, je pense que vous pourriez améliorer encore le concept, en n'utilisant qu'un seul contacteur. Il suffirait d'articuler (en haut à droite) la partie où passe le filament et en conservant l'idée de la came-guide.

      Bonjour Christophe. Merci pour cette très bonne idée. En fait, dans la première version, le contacteur est placé dans un support qui pivote de quelques degrés sur son axe. Quand le filament tire sur le slider, il fait pivoter le contacteur dont le levier se relève. Les premiers tests ont marché, mais à chaque fois c'est l'axe pivot du support du contacteur qui se casse. Il fallait peut-être l'imprimer de façon orienter la pression dans un autre sens.
      Je vais exploiter ta suggestion.
