Our 3.23 Affliction Forever Exiled private league has one more day left in it, but we've both finished our last attempts at climbing the ladder. GGG had a slow week in Path of Exile land so we were able to go all-in on all of the joys and excuses of our hardcore experiences. Hopefully you all had a great Path of Exile week, whether you joined the in our PL or not, and we hope you died lots 😉 ! Love ya!

Glad Justin got to play Last Epoch! The end game is definitely samey right now, but once it gets a few seasons under its belt there will be a lot more to do. The QoL available in it is just incredible.

Its feels refreshing to have an episode where you guys dont seem irrationally angry at poe2. LE gave you a approximate visual representation of what a finished poe2 could look like and it really mellowed out the vibe to something enjoyable to listen to again all the way through.

Sorry you feel like we're not excited about PoE2! I'm glad this episode was enjoyable for you.

For the F1 Saturday Topic: Ramadan is the reason. Its start, I think, an March 10th where the Saudi race should have happened. They moved it a day forward and therefor adjusted the Bahrain Grand Prix as well. The other Saturday thing is a purley capitalistic reason from the US - so the usual :D. Thanks for the episode!

People were saying "Bio break" back at the turn of the millennium when I played EQ. So around 2000-2001 or so is when I probably first heard it.

Whaaaaat? Well, I guess I've been playing a lot of single player games then...

This would be the same for me. Was playing an online text game called Earth 2025 😂

    Thought of the day...
How can we show respect to others without the disrespect of assuming that expression is mutual? What I find respectful may be very different from what you find respectful, how then do we define what is offensive?
Q- What came first, the chicken or the egg? A- The Rooster (bhahaha)

Lol thanks CF! I've always been of the mind that if i'm offended that's a me problem not a someone else problem. Also dad jokes for the win 😎

D1 and D2 weren't really made by Blizzard. Condor Studios was developing Diablo and strapped for cash and Blizzard picked them up, changed their name to Blizzard North, and away they went. After D2 was all done, North was shut down. Some of them moved to Blizzard main and worked on the genesis of D3, but I believe most of that early stuff was scrapped. Essentially, the studio that made the first two games didn't exist when D3 was made, and I think you can tell that by the different style and direction that the Diablo series went. .....this is not an amusing comment or anecdote, but relevant.....

Very true and great points. I guess d1 and d2 being just tacked onto blizzard for all time isn't totally fair to those masterpieces

About the death recap in PoE 2.
Last Epoch has a death recap, but I truly don't care about it.
"Enemy so-and-so killed you with so-and-so, dealing X type of damage."
I'm like: Cool, but crafting sucks during the story and finding items is RNG. Can't do anything about it. Moving on.

I agree on the death recap, I think I remember mentioning it breifly, but it's at least something. It kind of proves the point that a final piece of information for the last piece of damage isn't terribly useful. But LE compared to current poe there is far less happening at once. I thought crafting while levelling worked really well especially for the basics of hp and resists. Drops are definitely rng but that's arpg for Ya. Did you find drops harder than levelling in poe?

Tyler, you must play LE. There's absolutely no way you won't like it.
I agree with Justin on all LE relative subjects. I just have some comments concerning the burn out thing.
This is much true. You'll get bored at some point in the monolith. Their game play loop is amazing, but it lacks diversity in the content you're running and the purpose of this content. Their dungeon system is great because they have specific things you can only get there, but it lacks variety in game mechanics. This is because it just released.
It has much more content than PoE had when it got out, and more that d4 will ever have.
Judd (LE local Chris Wilson) already announced pinnacle bosses for next Cycle. Also, LE will build over the years as PoE did.
To me, LE is a blast. It's a great game with very very solid foundations (itemisation is close to perfect, though mods could be improved, skill design is great, some things could improve too) . I'm eager to see it grow, and I'm a PoE lover all the way.

Awesome feedback! That was good to read. I'll be sure to check LE out at some point.
