Thanks for taking us along, as I love to look in thrift stores! I also like looking at antiques, but most of those I have were left to me by family. I have a pump organ that’s over a hundred years old! My grandmother, who lived to be one hundred and two years old, left me a small oval table and lots of antique dishes. I can look in thrift and antique shops for almost an entire day. There really are several nice ones in your area!

I volunteer at a local soup kitchen here in Windsor Ontario one night per week in the winter and Im proud to say we’re about to move into a larger facility donated by a Good Samaritan. Yipeee. I love making soup and cheap soup at that…single mama of four and sometimes the soup kitchen feeds us too,but god does provide and we are grateful to have a roof over our heads and lots of love this winter.❤❤ Thirfting is how I clothe four,and I’ll never buy new!

I spied the beautiful Blue Ridge plates and platters at the last antique store, we were always searching for those. Enjoy and cherish the times you have together because they pass so quickly. This was almost like a visit to Museum, and w/ my favorite " Pizza " song in the background. Nothing like that in my town in the Desert Southwest where everything is shiny new and rich old retirees run around in their Rolls Royces to the Golf courses.
Y’all I pray you don’t take this as an insult and I don’t think you will, my prayer lately has been keep me different, this is exactly what I mean by keep me different! Yall represent what a lot of us let the world tell us wasn’t cool or worthy and I thank you for that! It’s helped this old single mama remember who I was before the world changed me . Life can be tough. It can leave you constantly trying to change or strive for things that won’t make you happy. It’s in the simple life I have found the most peace and rest. Lord is slowly redeeming and restoring and I am so grateful to have found y’all!
Your thrift store visit is really nice. Haven't been to one of those places in years, and there's always nice things to find at low prices. As always, you two Pressleys are enjoyable to watch on your adventures, making the best of things. It's important to be happy especially during tight times, in cold weather, etc. -- I was visited by a friend from the Chicago area who flew to Los Angeles, he took me to a restaurant for breakfast -- I have a medical condition that started a few years ago, and cannot drive and so therefore I need to have people drive me places -- and during the breakfast, we got to see the Christmas decorations that are still on display. They had a Christmas tree and many little decorations and lights. It was a very nice morning. I should have maybe taken a photo of the tree, but decided I should just remember this tree in my mind, so to speak. But I was able to give this friend, and his mother, and his brother, some old comic book things from the 1970s (that's when I grew up). I don't own many things and have tried to sell things on eBay, and such. Great video!
Thrift shops are so fun! When my son was a baby and then a toddler, most if his clothing came from the Salvation Army even though I worked full-time. There is no sense in spending lots of money for new clothing while children are growing quickly. And he looked just as nice as the other children! 💙
Like the hair very pretty. We have a few thrifts stores here in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. I found 2 pants 2 shirts at the Goodwill here. Always find nice things. I just got done with work at 11 pm, and the temperature is 36 degrees. The snow is melting. I really like this mild weather. Thanks for sharing the fun day.
