      😂 😂 "99.99999"... You wish!
We know the history bro. It is not anything hidden or mysterious. You can easily Google it and find details and sources to that effect.
      That being said;
      1. He failed to mention why anyone would want to change the message during compilation instead of writing the original message. What did Uthman stand to gain?
(We all know what the Roman's stood to gain by distorting the original message of Jesus... They persecuted him in the first place)
      2. You people seem to ignore the fact that all his sources are prominent Islamic scholars(Bukhari, etc). If the compilation were sooo problematic, why didn't they leave Islam for Christianity or any other religion afterwards?
It always amazes me when a Christian finds some common knowledge to preach to his listeners as "novel, mysterious, blah blah blah" 😂
      3. Why would 99.99999% of the living scholars agree to burn what they if the message had been "distorted" or "lost" like this man claims?
      4. As for the variations in recitation, the Qur'an was revealed in Arabic and the Bedouins at that time had 7 dialects. Hence the slight variations in pronunciations of some words (still same meaning by the way). FYI: The Qur'an is still recited in those dialects even till TODAY! (Guess he didn't know that).
Let me know if you have other concerns regarding this common knowledge that he claims to be "novel" 😂 😂

The Quran has "Suwar" سور, not all came in order each in different time and location. So when the muslims realized that Quran was written on separate papers and many people who memorized it fully (memorized all papers) they gathered the papers and put them in order to form the known Quran book. The Quran doesn't have versions, it was only separated by time, the ones who memorize Quran know it all as if they have the full puzzle done.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was indeed illiterate. He did not know how to read or write. This aspect is significant in Islamic tradition as it emphasizes that the Quran, which he received through divine revelation, was not a product of his own knowledge or literary skill but a miraculous message from Allah. This fact underscores the belief that the Quran is the word of God, given to a prophet who had no means to produce such a text on his own.
What about the part of Qur'an eaten by tame sheep?
You make a claim so please tell us the text that is eaten by the tame sheep.

Hadrat Usman (RA) was a great scholar of the Holy Qur’an and was a “Hafiz”(i.e. the one who commits the whole Holy Book to memory). He was well versed in “Shan-i-Nuzul” i.e. the chronology of revelation of various verses and the chapters of the Holy Qur’an, and was considered an authority in this respect. He was one of the few Companions who excelled in deriving laws from the verses of the Holy Qur’an. He had a beautiful handwriting because of which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) appointed him as one of the scribes of the “Wahy” (Quranic Revelations).
His style of writing was well recognized among the Companions of The Prophet Muhammad PBUH. He was among ten blessed companion of Prophet PBUH. The argument by Mr White carries no weitage as he is portraying that Hadrat Usman was an emporer but he failed to deliver the fact that the man himself was an authority on Quran.

Okay, so according to the logic put forth in this video, there are two options for the New Testament:
    1) The same exact thing happened with New Testament when only 4 of the more than 40 known gospels were kept as part of the canonical New Testament - it only says that God did not aid the Christians in preserving and maintaining a unified text, but for Muslims, as He promised in the Qur'an, He kept His promise and guarded the Qur'an so that even if some people believe that there are other 'versions' or missing parts, there is no actual evidence to prove this, as there are no verses or surahs that can be found anywhere - it's like a ghost, a bunch of people claim it exists and tell stories about it, but when it comes to hard evidence, there is none.
    2) If, as this gentleman says, it is matter of seeking truth/loving truth over being deceived, all of those other gospels (more than 40 that are not part of the New Testament) should be similarly read and compared to the 4 gospels in the New Testament and should be accepted as having truth in them. This would include the Gospel of Thomas, which says that Jesus went to India/the East after crucifixion, the Gospel of Judas, which says that Judas was actually the dearest disciple of Jesus and not accursed, and gospel of Barnabas which says that Jesus told his disciples not to worship him, that he was only a man, not God, and that they should accept Prophet Muhammad when he comes.
    Take your pick.
Also, it is absurd to claim that '99.9999997%' of Muslims have never heard of this. I don't know what kind of Muslims he was referring to in the beginning who acted so surprised when he had told them about it in another instance, but they must have been living under a rock. The history of the compilation of the Qur'an is such a well known subject for Muslims, which should be no surprise seeing as it is clearly described in detail in Sahih Bukhari and other books of Hadith. The fact that he chose these 'variations' verses the apparent variant readings that are present to this day in the Hafs, Doori, Nafi, etc. mus-haf shows just how oblivious this gentleman is. Or maybe its because even those 'variant' readings are not 'variant' by any sense of the word, but merely describe authenticated and accepted forms of reading/pronunciation owing to differing dialects.
The example he gives of chapter 3 verse 158 is also very weak, because it would not be grammatically or linguistically correct for the text to read 'laa ila-llahi tuhsharoon' - if the verse were really to say 'you will NOT be gathered unto Allah', it would have been 'ila-llahi LAA tuhsharoon', because the negating of a verb comes before the verb in Arabic, and this is easily discernible from the rest of the Qur'an - 'laa ila-llahi tuhsharoon' would translate as something like 'then it is not to Allah that you will be gathered...' in which case it would require further indication/content to say where, or to whom, you would be gathered instead, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
And maybe it is because there are few (if any) Christians who memorize the bible, but you are under a huge deception if you think for a moment that it is not possible or conceivable to accurately memorize/know with certainty the entire text of the Qur'an, down to the individual vowel inflections. Not only that, it is yet another deception/illusion to think that at the time of the compilation of the Qur'an, there were no more Huffaaz (people who had memorized the entire Qur'an by heart) left - and you are forgetting a very crucial point in this whole issue of compilation of the Qur'an - Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali and Zaid bin Thabit (the one who was tasked with collecting the Qur'an) WERE ALL HUFFAAZ. They all had memorized the Qur'an by heart already during the time of Prophet Muhammad - so simply saying that Zaid had to look for the last verses of Surah Taubah as a way of trying to put into question the preservation of the entirety of the Qur'an is completely useless, because Zaid himself was a hafiz...hence why he himself KNEW that those verses existed, it was only to ensure that it was also kept (both in writing and memory) by another.

An issue that is overlooked is not just a work of literature that is simply read. It is an oral recitation which is memorized by multiple people. Anyone who has listened to music understands the ability to easily memorize melodies and how one can memorize songs after only having heard them a few times.
What that means is that even though his description of the history of the written compilation of the Qur'an is correct it overlooks the fact that multiple people had memorized the recitation of the Qur'an by sound, not just by knowledge of it's content. There are two ways to memorize the Qur'an. I know the several chapters by sound and can easily point out when a mistake is made even though I lack the knowledge which the Arabic verse is depicting.
this argument falls short and is not evidence that the Qur'an is flawed and certainly falls short in proving the New Testament is more worthy of believing it is not corrupted

That's why muhammad said, as long as you don't mistake justice with mercy and mercy with justice it's okay. Here's the issue. If you have chains of transmission, over time the meaning switches so when the first person says a certain word, the 5th chain of transmission could easily be the opposite or differ from the main words that the first person said. Plus all the extra information found in the hadith that mr. white talks about in this video that are problematic...

Dr James, interesting talk, but I do disagree that many Muslim's don't know the history about the gathering of the Quran, you are trying soo hard to say that the Hafiz( people that memorized) the Quran were all dead before the gathering of the Quran, which is absolutely incorrect, all the companion's of the Profet was a Hafiz, is own Cousin Ali, loyal friends Abu Bakr, Uthman and Omar was Hafiz and still alive at that time. Islamic History will show your the reason for the collection of the Quran was due to Spoken Arabic language of that time and write Arabic of that time was not 100% the same, only them that got taught how to recite the Quran text written without the vowel knew how to read them, and having lost so many Hafiz at battle the collection was a must and their is no doubt about that. Dr James White, You Sir are a scholar in your faith so ask and work with real scholar specialized in this subject instead of asking a man of faith that is not specialized in this matter and claiming that all Muslim don't know anything about the Quran text collection.
Dr James White good speech but far from fully finished.
Understand the Islamic history and Arab culture of that time and the time after Profets dead, you will find clear evidence of so many Munafiqun(Hypocrite) tried to distort the written Quran at that time, even when the Profet was alive. Their are clear Quranic verses discussing about the Munafiqun, referring to them as more dangerous to Muslim than the worst non-Muslim enemies of Islam.
Thanks you for hearing me out best of luck with your research.

No, he only said there were heavy casualities and fear of losses. He never tried to say all had died...smh. He also did not say that ALL Muslims don't know, only that it is not common knowledge among Muslims.
I believe that is what he said--distortions, not the pure word. Likewise for Christian, there have been false teachers and heretics.

So if as you claim Muslims know about the changes and corruptions of the early Qurans, why do Muslims today claim that there is only one perfectly preserved Quran? And that when we all know we can buy more than 30 different Arabic Qurans today. Oh, and please do not insult our intelligence by referring to qiraats as we know that Uthman ordered that his Quran should only use the Quraishi dialect, so who invented all the other Qurans we can buy today?

@@soohamdy8538 So you still believe in the fairy tale of the one perfectly preserved Quran???
And I refer to ARABIC Qurans not translations.
As the hafs Quran and warsh Quran are the most used Qurans they are the ones usually compared. You will find that number of verses in Hafs is 6236, while Warsh has only 6214 verses.
In Surah Al imran 3:146 in the hafs Quran it states “And many a prophet fought” and in the warsh Quran it states “And many a prophet was killed”.
In verse 2:184, the Hafs Quran reads the verse to be "... a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person...". On the other hand, the Warsh Quran reads it "... a ransom [as substitute] of feeding poor people..."
Logically prophets being killed is not the same as prophets fighting and feeding one is different from feeding many. Clearly we have two different Qurans here which proves that the Qurans (plural) have not been perfectly preserved.

(for lack of a better word) where it once was priest it became rabbis with the talmud dictating their books.

This was to ensure that NON ARAB Muslims who did not know the Arabic language don't read the Quran wrongly and pass down the wrong recitation and meaning to the following generations. Don't forget that all the 4 caliphs were huffaz(memorizers of the Quran) from the time of the Prophet Muhammad till their own death. The difficulty in reconciling the statement in 1 Chronicles 21:1, “Satan . . . moved David,” with that of 2 Samuel 24:1, “the Lord moved David,” is not problematic. All temptation is permitted by God, but not caused by God. When evil spirits tempt us, they do so by permission (Job 1:12, 2:6; Luke 22:31). Satan therefore provoked David to number the people, and God allowed him to do so. God allows those things which serve to advance His holy and perfect will.
      *
learly, Israel had already experienced three years of famine before David numbered the people of Israel and Judah-for reasons unrelated to the situation in question. 2 Samuel 24:1-7 record the initiation of the census, but we find in verse 8 that “"when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days."”
So according to the text, numbering the people was nearly a year-long process, and there is no clear indication that God had suspended the initial three-year famine prior to the events in chapter 24. Now if God had combined three additional years of famine (1 Chronicles 21:12) with the three years of initial famine, and a possible intervening year while the census was conducted, the resulting overall famine would have totaled about seven years (2 Samuel 24:13).
      *
Young Jehoshaphat and young Athaliah of Israel engage in an illicit affair for political reasons during the reign of Asa.
Jehoshaphat and Athaliah give birth to Ahaziah, perhaps out of wedlock.
Jehoshaphat and his true wife, a woman of Judah, give birth to Jehoram.
Jehoshaphat becomes king of Judah after Asa's death.
By virtue of his relationship to Athaliah, Jehoshaphat king of Judah is given some jurisdiction over Israel and is considered also "king of Israel".
Ahaziah, being Jehoshaphat's son, shares Jehoshaphat's limited jurisdiction over Israel and becomes co-regent of Israel with Ahab at age 22.
Despite being co-regent of Israel by virtue of his father Jehoshaphat's authority, Ahaziah cannot succeed the throne of Israel at Ahab's death because Ahab has his own sons.
Before Jehoshaphat died, he appointed his younger son Jehoram a pure prince of Judah to become king of Judah, bypassing Ahaziah's right to the throne.
      Jehoshaphat dies.
Jehoram becomes king of Judah after Jehoshaphat's death.
Jehoram takes Athaliah as his wife.
Ahaziah legally becomes the son of Jehoram, despite being older than Jehoram.
Ahaziah becomes king of Judah at age 42 after Jehoram's death.
      *
Commentators on these verses explain that Jehoiachin was, in fact, crowned twice. Shortly after Jehoiachin’s father, Jehoiakim, began his reign, he (or the king of Egypt) crowned his eight-year-old son as heir to the throne, to ensure that Jehoiachin would become king after him.
Jehoiakim himself had to wrest the throne (with the help of the King of Egypt) from his younger brother, Jehoahaz. As a result, Jehoiakim wanted to ensure that his firstborn would be firmly ensconced on the throne before his own death.
When Jehoiachin was eighteen, Jehoiakim died and Jehoiachin in fact took the throne.

The Quran consists of 114 Suras that are assembled by verses that number from 4 to 286. According to the tradition the suras are based on the words of Muhamad in 23 years. During his life Mohamed has changed several suras, revoked them and many have been lost or shortened. The writer Ubay testifies - for example - that sura 33 (al-Ahzab) had 200 verses, but finally only 73 remained. Aisha, the favorite wife of the prophet, - for example - reported that she also lost some verses.
Shortly after the death of Muhamad his comrade Ibn Thabit (who was able to write) started to collect the different documents, but soon seven different versions existed. To avoid confusion the third Caliph Othman (Ruled 644 - 656) ordered Ibn Thabit and several helpers from the tribe of the Quraisch to produce an error free version of the words of Muhamad. This version was then sent to the four capitals of the Caliphate - Medina, Damaskus, Kufa and Basra. This book is called the „Othman Quran“, the only valid version according to traditional Islam. 114 suras with up to 286 verses per sura were told to Muhamad by the archangel Gabriel (according to the traditional belief), which he forwarded to his followers without error or omission. But this was not done in the form of a book, but orally as the tradition demanded. Over the years the followers memorised the suras but modified them during this process. Several official edits were then made in the years to follow. For example, Ubaydallah, the governor of Mesopotamiens, added 2000 Alif („a“) in his version of the Quran. This is interesting as in the Arab language the addition of one Alif might change the meaning of a word completely.
The hadiths of al-Buhari (died 870), Muslim (died 875), Ibn Madscha (died 886), Abu Dawud (died 888), Tirmidhi (died 892), and Nasa’i (died 915) were wirtten 150 to 250 years after the death of the prophet. these are extraction of the many millions of hadith that existed at that time. A certain al-Audscha confessed to have invented over 4 000 hadith, Abu Dawud, one of the prominent authors, stated to have taken only 4,800 from over 500,000 hadith that he collected (“that appeared authentic, or almost”), Al-Buhari, the most prominent hadith-editor, accepted only 7,400 of over 600,000 hadith. The Shias have five collections of hadiths that differ.
While there is no original version of the Othman Quran, it is believed that the current version - the edit of Cairo from the year 1924 - is only very roughly based on Quran version that were finalised around the year 900. The base for the Quran of Cairo is a Quran version of 1886 that was editied using old Arab grammar rules defined by al-Sigistani (died 928) and the Spanish expert al-Dani (died 1053). No old writings were used in this process. The problem here is that the language of Mekka was very much different that the traditional Arab that was spoken by the later editors and they actually had to translate the original text. Many words were unknown then and writing errors contributed to a bigger alteration from the original talks of Muhamad. This lead to the fact that many of the words used had to be interpreted (and then re-entered the Arabic language under their new meaning), due to the many differences in the language the pure version of the Quran is not readable for even an Arab without comments. But even the commentors like at-Tabari (838-923 n. Chr.) had to admit that they had to guess the meaning of several passages. Additional confusion is caused by the ranking of the suras according to their length and not their context increases the difficulty of the interpretation, many are taken out of context. All Quran fragments before the version of the 10th century (Sanaa and Istambul versions especially) have a complete different structure of the suras. Experts, that also know Aramaean dialects (which relates more to the basic religious texts of that time than modern Arab), reckon that about 25% are wrongly interpreted in modern versions.
It might - therefore - make sense to have a look at older versions of the Quran. Especially the version of Sanaa might be interesting as it is the oldest version that exists (except maybe for a secret version in Rome or Istambul). The differences will be startling.
But is this important? Actually not. Muslims believe that Allah's influence will have influenced the flow of events and interpretations that the existing mainstream books still reflect the pure Quran. Differences vs. old versions were supposedly important as other people might have needed to encounter another Quran in another time - as it might have been the wish of Allah. With this pragmatic approach the critique of Dr. James White and other historians becomes far less relevant only two alternatives emerge for the faithful Muslim:
    A. I have been following a stupid scheme by humans and wasted my faith for nothing, or
    B. I have been following a divine scheme by Allah and invested my faith to enter paradise.
Any normal human would know which alternative he/she would need to believe; everything else would drive him/her crazy. And this is maybe a reason why modern Salafism is so successful; it serves as a shield against modern science and society that more and more exposes the shortcomings of ancient beliefs.
    What a mess!

The first mention of Christianity in Arabia occurs in the New Testament as the Apostle Paul refers to his journey in Arabia following his conversion {Galatians 1: 15-17}. Later, Eusebius of Caesarea discusses a bishop name Beryllus in the sea of Bostra, the site of a synod c. 240 and two Council's of Arabia.*One in 246 a.d. and other in 247. Both before Council of Nicea 325 a.d.
both were held against Beryllus, the local bishop, and his followers, who believed that the soul perished upon the death of the body, but that it would one day rise with the body.

I beg to differ with this man on one issue. I had one of those Bibles which give you the original words litterally translated
from the original text right under a modern text version of your choice. The original text, is some cases is so not understandable that you are very hard pressed to see how they translated it in the way it is written in the modern version.
I don't know what these Bibles are called, but the only way for you to see what I mean is for you to get one for yourself and read at least most of the New Testament.
But shortly after 11:55 he states that the Curan has been interpreted by a government and several times re-written and older versions destroyed so as to keep anyone from checking the authenticity of the newer versions.
Then he goes on to say this has not happened with the Christian Bible.
    WRONG
When the Christian Bible was first printed in English, it was done so by the Catholic church which was a government at that time.

Julie Benjamen 👌 Mohammads family was from a Sabaean Yemeni family and are not connected to any Ishmaelites tribe because Mohammad family did not leave Yemen until the 5th century AD, and that was 1000 years after the Ishmaelites who lived in the deserts of the fertile crescent become extinct or disappeard and many centuries before Mohammed's family left Yemen. Now Ismael or his Decedents never migrated to Saudi Arabia or Mecca in his lifetime and God's word proves to those who seek his word for truth Genisis 25:17-18 Ismael died when he was 137years old, he had 12 Sons that were princes, and the descendents of Ishmael lived in the territory between Havilah and Shur, to the east of Egypt on the way to Assyiria. They lived apart from the decedents of Abraham, meaning that Genisis 25:18 is proof the tribe of Ishmael did not migrate to Saudi arabia or Yemen, and When Abraham was buried by his two Sons Issac and Ishmael they buried him in Israel, they did not travel or migrate to Saudi Arabia they lived in the Region from Egypt Assyria and Mesopotamia. And the Ishmaelites received no Spiritual call from God except for his twelve Sons. The anointed Holy Spirit teaches us only truth, Glory, Honour and Praise to Yeshua Ha'mashiach and Alright God in the Highest. Amen!!! 🙏🙌⛪

Actually the reality is this: Arabic is not like English, it has annotations which change the meanings. An Arabic person of that time does not need the annotation to know the meaning, he just knows the correct word. These annotations were not known to the rapidly expanding Muslim populations with many ethnicity and languages. And so they started producing variations.
In order to revert to a standard, Caliph Uthman reproduced the text compiled shortly after the death of prophet Mohammad (which is the best version, and closest that was available). Unlike other sacred texts, it was compiled not a 100 or 1000 years later but rather less than 5 years. The accuracy is further strengthened by confirmation on the the correct version by multiple sources and by the writing of the scribes during Prophet Mohammed's time. And yes, Uthman had to get it right because otherwise he can not remain Caliph.
The above fact was conveniently left out in the argument of Dr. James.
Another fact: most Muslims know that Caliph Uthman compiled the universal version read today because it can be read correctly and understood by a non arabic person like me.
So Dr. James is statistically wrong about the 99.whatever %

Osman meant to reduce/remove as many variants as possible and he did that. It is not surprising or controversial that Muslims likely continued to follow his path over the coming century or so to remove all other variants because they knew Osman did the best he could to gather Quran from Hafza (the keeper of the original copy since Abu Bakar's time) and the by having the Huffaaz (those who memorized the Quran by heart) narrate it to the team that compiled the whole Quran. Now you can doubt that Osman did not have the original or modified it but history tells us there were multiple sources of the Quran (Hafza's version and Huffaaz) who had to have come to agreement for this authentic copy to have been compiled. There is no evidence of a massacre to wipe out the Huffaaz or wipe out the original copy of Hafza but rest were wiped because there was no general consensus for those copies and there would have been no end to versions and edits. This was probably done to just avoid this discussion that you are having now and had Osman not done this, there would have been no (at least no easy) way for Osman's most authentic version to be identified correctly

Every Aayah (Meaningful Divine Statement, a.k.a. verse) of the Qur'aan was surely written during the time of Prophet Mohammad. When the Prophet's Companions agreed on compiling the Qur'aan right after the Prophet's demise (during the time of Caliph, abu Bakr), they put strict conditions in their compilation of the Qur'aan. Such condition were as follows:
    1) Every Aayah must be written during the time of the Prophet,
    2) at least 4 witness must have memorized every Aayah and step forward to cast their testimonies as to every Aayah 's authenticity, and
    3) what's been memorized of every Aayah must agree with what's already been written during the time of -- and supervised by -- Prophet Mohammad.
Any and supervised that did not meet all of the aforementioned conditions was not even considered as a Prophetic Tradition (Hadith), since none testified that it was a Hadith. Such am Aayah in such a stance was left as a Qur'aan only for the companion who claimed it to be, but not for all Muslims.
That being said, the compilation of the Qur'aan -- not only it was written down during the time of Prophet Mohammad, under his supervision -- it was also multiply transmitted orally by 4 witnesses and/or more who were not known of being liars.
So, the talking head in the video who's spewing doubts about the Qur'aan needs to put a socket in it. His example is like a she-camel that gave birth to a mouse. His arguments considering the Qur'aan are fallacious and baseless.

I don't know this guy's credentials as a scholar, but the New Testament WAS edited: It came in the form of scribes (who copied the available texts long before Gutenberg) that made changes to the texts they copied for a variety of reasons. Sometimes changes were logistical: Make the text fit the scroll of papyrus on which it is being copied. Sometimes the changes were editorial: Improve the narrative, vis a vis the scribe who was doing the copying (read: I think I can improve the story here, let me just add this little part). Sometimes, Church authorities purged texts to propagate theological views (Google/read Elaine Pagels). So, I don't dismiss his central thesis - actually, the historical formations of texts seems to be quite universal: As a religion grows and codifies itself (for whatever reason - think of the Jewish religion after the destruction of the Temple), there is a lot at stake to promote whatever view will help the faith grow and survive. This is not bad; the believers were just that. Their intentions were the absolute best.

Interesting -I'm not surprised , since all religions culled from the final text(s), the memorized oral traditions , and interpretations of variations on a theme ,deemed politically problematic ,or contradictory of views accepted by the majority of the faithful, at the time of release of the final edited form, in order to consolidate and propagate the faith to lands, and peoples not yet proselytized to . An example from the Cristian tradition would be the Gnostic Gospels , which wold be unheard of ,if not discovered by happenstance , by a layman wandering into caves near Nag Hammadi Egypt , in 1945. A portion of the text was used as fire wood by the m of the discoverer.

"I have seen in the comments, people are saying that islam is a terrorist religion and Mohammed is the founder and he spread islam by sword."
This is from an Islamic Apologist website: ten selected "prophecies" of Muhammed.
      1) "Prophet Muhammad foretold the precise spot every pagan Meccan soldier would fall" (by the sword.... by the way)
      2) Prophet Muhammad prophesized the Battle of the Confederates (al-Ahzab) would be the last invasion the tribe of Quraish (the pagan Meccans) would launch against the Muslims. It was fought in the fifth year of migration, 626 CE and was the last military conflict between the two sides. All Meccans embraced Islam after a few years.
(oh I wonder why that would be....?)
      3) There are two prophecies in one: Fatima will outlive her father; Fatima will be the first member of his household to die after him.
(calling it a prophecy that a teenager might just outlive her aged father is a stretch, but .... )
      4) Prophet Muhammad prophesized Jerusalem would be conquered after his death. (by the sword)
      5) Prophet Muhammad prophesized the conquest of Persia. (by the sword)
      6) Prophet Muhammad prophesized the conquest of Egypt (by the sword)
      7) Prophet foretold confrontation with the Turks (with the sword)
      8) Prophet foretold the first maritime battle to be undertaken by Muslims would be witnessed by Umm Haram, the first woman to participate in a naval expedition. He also prophesied the first assault on Constantinople.
(they probably had swords, but interestingly enough, he "fulfilled" this one, by bringing her along on his naval expedition, which is a bit like me prophesying that my daughter will have chocolate tomorrow and then buying her some chocolate)
      9) The prophecy that Rome, Persia, and Yemen will be conquered was made during the Battle of Confederates (by the sword)
      10) Prophet Muhammad prophesized an imposter claiming to speak in the name of God would be killed at the hands of a righteous man in Muhammad’s lifetime.
(So basically if ANYONE after Muhammed claims to be a prophet, this is a sure fire way to set them up for a fall and anyone who kills them as "righteous". In reality, it was all infighting and power struggle for control. In any case, he died.... by the sword)
So out of around 160 prophesies these are the ten examples CHOSEN - I didn't choose them - only ONE of them is a potentially non-violent (although there is a violent version of the story). 8 out of 10 are directly about battle - 6 of those are directly about conquest and 1 of them is about someone being killed for claiming to speak in the name of God during Muhammeds lifetime (which can both be arranged and would automatically have incurred a death penalty if even one person did it or was understood to have done it). Out of the 160 also the vast majority are regarding the conflicts and conquests of Islam with other nations or infighting. Immediately after Muhammeds death, the infighting began and continued for centuries afterward as did the conquests. Islam had nothing less than the "conquest" of the whole known world on the agenda.
This is the very foundation of Islam and the prophet spoke almost of nothing else but war - it is absolutely beyond dispute. So the very first "Muslim"s were about anything but "surrender". When Muslim apologists try to poke holes in the Old and New testaments, it is ridiculous because they are simply poking holes in texts which they also claim their religion is built upon, excepting that theirs are supposedly "pure" adaptations for the text of the Quran 600 years later. Muslims are even happier to point out that there Quran agrees quite heavily in places with "rediscovered" gnostic texts, seemingly oblivious to the fact this simply identifies the Quran more positively as a derived syncretic religious text combining only the elements of the Torah and vague agreement with selected prophets of the Tanakh and a new revision of Jesus life and teachings which aligns with the theology of the author of the Quran to forge yet another new religion which is neither Judaism, nor Christian yet contains elements of both.

I'm not a Christian, but I have to tell you that there is no proof that "Constantine oversaw what stories went into the Bible". It is a sort of a modern myth. However, Constantine did request that fifty Bibles be prepared. Look up "fifty Bibles of Constantine" if you're interested. Constantine asked that more legible, portable Bibles be made but you will find no evidence that he commented on what stories the Bible should or shouldn't contain.

I am a Non Believer, however, I have studied Abrahamic Faiths for more than 10 years. My Arabic is almost Fluent, I read Hebrew, I did Greek and Latin at School. I am indifferent to any and all religions. Historically, the team that Othman assembled was under the auspicious supervision of Zayd bin Thabit, the Chief Scribe of Mohammed. Additionally, there were Ali ibn Abi Talib, `Uthman ibn `Affan, `Amr ibn Al-`As, Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan, Shurahbil ibn Hasanah, `Abdullah ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Sarh, Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah, Ma'adh ibn Jabal, Hanzalah ibn Al-Rabi`, Ubay ibn Ka'b, Juhaym ibn Al-Salt, Husayn Al-Numayri, all of them were Hafizul Quran. Furthermore, during the month of Ramadhan, the entire Quran was recited, in portions, every night after the night prayers. Whether the Scripture is the Word of 'Allah' or not, may be questionable, whereas, the Quran is authentic and accurate as it was when assembled. Animus of Jews and Christians towards the Islamic Scripture / Faith is historical. Neither accepts Mohammed as a prophet nor the Quran as the Word of God. This man is the prime example of the Bible Bashing Miscreants. He is very cunning, conniving, bigot and zealot. Shame on him deceiving his audience, but then, most Clergy do it from the Pulpit..

Matter of fact we have 32 different arabic qurans today and they ALL differ from one another. So pleaseeee allah couldn't protect the quran 20 years yet alone for 1400. And even if we read the quran it self it states ''allah protects the quran, and even if ONE DOT is changed then you will know its NOT from god'' its amazing how God exposes things because look here. muahmmed was a false prophet and in that age muhammeds arabic didn't even use dots, but look at the arabic today. Its full of dots, and if you remove those dots it will be IMPOSSIBLE for you to read that arabic. So we see how the REAL GOD made an example of the FALSE PROPHET yet again. There are many many more things wich i won't go into now where the True God Jesus Christ exposes muhammed for what he was, A FALSE PROPHET FROM SATAN

Yes the Quran revealed by seven different Arab dialects. So all the different are authentic and proved by the Prophet Mohammed (ﷺ)
      Narrated `Umar bin Al-Khattab:
I heard Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam reciting Surat-al-Furqan in a way different to that of mine. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had taught it to me (in a different way). So, I was about to quarrel with him (during the prayer) but I waited till he finished, then I tied his garment round his neck and seized him by it and brought him to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "I have heard him reciting Surat-al-Furqan in a way different to the way you taught it to me." The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered me to release him and asked Hisham to recite it. When he recited it, Allah s Apostle said, "It was revealed in this way." He then asked me to recite it. When I recited it, he said, "It was revealed in this way. The Qur'an has been revealed in seven different ways, so recite it in the way that is easier for you."

Just because people died in the battle doesnt mean only those people had certain portions of quran memorised. What Umar was talking about was about the people who had memorised the quran completely. Even then hadith tells us that a few hafiz(full memorisers) survived the battle and they contributed to the collection of the quran afterwards.
Even then the quran was fact checked both with oral recitation and written scripture. Quran suras were scattered around the land in written parchments which were done at the time of the prophet.
Full quran was done in 1st year after Muhammad died by a person who was Muhammad's own secretary and Muhammad would tell him where to place verses and in what order and he would learn from him complete recitation of the quran, since we know the quran was revealed in portions, verses and sometimes full chapters which were not necessarily in order but Muhammad got guidance of their proper order after the fact.
Muhammad's secretary Zayd ibn Thabit was the best person who knew the quran after Muhammad. He used his own knowledge but to be even more sure he told everyone in the land to present their recordings with written parchments and them reciting the verses. He would fact check their pronounciation and every letter and then compile the quran.
Uthman didn't make up a quran like White says. Literally Uthman with the help of Zayd which honestly did the work for him, literally fact checked every copy of the quran around and got the best version Muhammad ordered by the time he died.
Also pretty ironic for a christian to say Uthman 'edited' the quran when literally the whole bible is different scholars writings. Not a single person, uthman or zayd even wrote a single letter to the quran and shipped it as Quran.
There was no bible when Jesus left. Literally no bible. Just his sayings that people memorised that later on these writers would quote and then add other verses which Jesus never spoke.
The changes you try to mention as different in quran are literally different accents of arabic, that Muhammad himself would recite so that every tribe in arabia would fully grasp the scripture. These accents were taught to him by angel Gabriel himself and everyone knows that and its an authentic knowledge of Islam.
Which is right color, or colour? Aluminium or Aloominum
Literally all these 7 different version of the Quran are like this. They have the same content but different pronounciation and all are correct since all of them were recited by the Prophet. Neither one removes or adds new letters or words.
The reason muslims ridicule bible versions because they really are versions. You can read the same verse in so many different ways. Its not just how you pronounce a word, a whole sentence can be changed. Though the meaning is still the same, that is a problem. Even then you have a translation, of a book written in greek. Even Greek itself wouldnt perfectly describe aramaic that Jesus spoke, so you already lost at preserving scripture, considering Jesus spoke it and wasnt written by other people which is not the case. So you also have that problem.
Also claiming Uthman's collection is not preserved is an ignorant statement. Go to the british museum and then get a quran. It will read the same, the full chapter that they have in the museum. You won't find a footnote that says there is a variant because Muslims already know that that variant is not the correct one. Just becuase you find variant copies, that doesn't mean its the true quran. Uthman used the best hafiz and Muhammad's secretary to compile the quran. Other parchments were writings of laymen.
The fact that christians have footnotes that say this part has a different meaning, etc shows that they are not confident on what is the true version and what is fabricated so they show it out there in the hopes that maybe in the future they could find more codexes to try to solve that problem. No problem with that, but you can't use that argument to say Quran is wrong.
Uthman destroyed other versions because he was confident he had the best Quran.

After all, this was the most holy book in the universe! This was Allah's very word, would it not have been protected and revered, at least like the American Independence documents? There is convincing evidence that the quran hasn’t been tampered with for at least 300 years, so then why the hell was it able to refer to new scientific discoveries of a less than a few decades ago. Also the morals and teachings in the Quran are far more inline with human nature than any other religion. I feel like 2000 years later we can’t figure out any exact history from the scraps of info we have but we can judge for ourselves what’s right.

      2. What "new scientific discoveries" would that be? I have heard many, if not all of them, and they all fall apart under scrutiny.
      3. "the morals and teachings in the Quran are far more inline with human nature than any other religion"? I would agree in one sense, that the teachings of Islam DO FEED and encourage the natural, base, _sinful_ side of human nature, but that is precisely what Jesus Christ came to _save us from_ , not to encourage.

The Father is Salvation To Come: Yahuah
Jesus is Salvation HAS Come: Yahusha
THAT is the correct Ancient Hebrew. Not the Yiddish Hebrew that is from the European Ashkenazi Jews who rely on their Babyonian Talmud. It is NOT the ANCIENT Hebrew. The forms of Name's translations are incorrect. Yeshua is simply Joshua and Yahusha's Name was MORE than any mere man's name; as He came from His Father Yahuah- Salvation To Come
      Yahusha-Salvation has come.
The Jews do not know the Father intimately enough to know Him as Savior. That's why they never could accept Jesus as Messiah or the Savior that has come.
If you disbelieve, research it for yourself.

Our world is populated by all kinds of people with hugely varying levels of intelligence. Almost anyone would consider themselves to be intelligent, of course, and it can be very hard to get an accurate assessment of our own intelligence. After all, our thoughts always tend to sound smart in our own head, don’t they?
And intelligence is very important. Especially in a professional context, a smart and agile mind can be your best asset. But people who are less smart often have habits that out them as stupid and can also be quite catastrophic in a number of circumstances.

    • @S.R.M.
      @S.R.M. 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Let's see the level of intelligence you have, What is the Trinity? The Trinity is this: The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods (Elohim), One God (EL or Eloah). The use of the Hebrew word “Elohim” (a plural) translated as God (singular) in the versions of the Bible specifically in Genesis 1:1 into other languages was never meant to demonstrate the Trinity and would be out of context to do so. Does a Christian need to believe in the Trinity to be a Christian? Must one believe in the Trinity in order to be saved? And if so, why did our Savior and His disciples never teach the doctrine of the Trinity? Why would Christians three centuries later give credence to the councils of men seeking to define the deity of Christ in conjunction with the Father without revelation from God? In the history of Christianity, the first four ecumenical councils include the following: the First Council of Nicaea in 325, the First Council of Constantinople in 381, the Council of Ephesus in 431, the Council of Chalcedon in 451 were designed to argue over who God is without one thus says the LORD! If the doctrine of the Trinity is correct, then why did it take all these councils to finally decide and design the deity of Christ? From the beginning in the year 325 CE to the year 380 when it supposedly ended. Can mankind define who God is? No. Only God can reveal Himself to mankind. Accordingly, scholars agree that “Although early Christian theologians speculated in many ways on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit relationship, no one clearly and fully asserted the doctrine of the Trinity as explained...until around the end of the so-called Arian Controversy. Nonetheless, proponents of such theories always claim them to be in some sense founded on, or at least illustrated by, biblical texts” (Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Dale Tuggy, 2020). In fact, the Trinitarians claim to base their definition of God can only be done by implication, as there is absolutely no explicit doctrine of the Trinity in the Bible. There are two seemingly explicit pillars for the Trinity in the New Testament, namely, Matthew 28:19 and 1 John 5:7-8. First, 1 John 5:7-8, known as The Johannine Comma, is an interpolation (words added) as acknowledged by Christian scholars, to the Bible by over-zealous Trinitarians, who wanted some testimony to the Trinity, due to the fact that in the Bible there is no such doctrine of the Trinity. Second, Matthew 28:19 has come under suspicion by Christian scholars, a commandment allegedly given by Christ to the disciples to baptize in the name of the Father. and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, however, the disciples were only baptized in the Savior’s name as demonstrated in the Book of Acts. The early church historian Eusebius, wrote (as published circa 316 CE) in his book on early church history, Matthew 28:19, that Christ actually said, "Go and make disciples of all the nations in my name" (Eusebius, The History of the Church, p. 68, PENGU1N CLASSICS, 1965). The Trinity has only really existed since the 4th century. Historian H.G. Wells factually stated, "There is no evidence that the apostles of Jesus {YAHSHUA} ever heard of the Trinity-at any rate from Him" (The Outline of History, Vol. 2, p. 499). Martin Luther is quoted in a sermon saying, "It is indeed true that the name 'Trinity' is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man" (The Sermons of Martin Luther, Vol. 3, p. 406, 1988). It is time that the false Trinity Doctrine cease to exist in Christianity! Catholics and Protestants agree that “Whoever will be saved: before all things, it is necessary to keep the Catholic faith… unless he keeps this faith whole, he will perish everlastingly...And the Catholic faith is this: we worship one God in Trinity” (Catholicism, p. 69, 1961). Protestant professor of Theology James White, states, “The Trinity doctrine is misunderstood as well as ignored. It is so misunderstood that a majority of Christians when asked, give incorrect and at times downright heretical definitions of the Trinity” (James White, The Forgotten Trinity, p. 16). According to James White, around 75% of Christians, who think themselves to be Trinitarians, are actually Modalists. Modalism: One God who at different times represents Himself in three different modes of being: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. If belief in the Trinity doctrine is so critical to our salvation, the question goes begging, why did Christ and the disciples not preach the Trinity, which historically developed over 300 years after Christ? To say that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, when Christ never stipulated the doctrine as a prerequisite for salvation is the grossest form of legalism! The man-made Trinity Doctrine is so ingrained into the imagination of Christians for salvation, and despite the fact that Christ and the apostles never ever taught it, and it becomes unthinkable to cast aside this doctrine based upon the traditions of men. Consequently, many could actually stand condemned for believing in the Trinity and teaching it according to the Tradition of men, and not of God. Christ warned us about teaching doctrines without one thus says the LORD! And He...said to them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…” He told them, “All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition” (Mark 7:6-9). Christians do not need to believe in the Trinity in order to receive salvation and eternal life in the Kingdom of God! If Christians needed to believe in the Trinity in order to be saved, then it would have been taught in the New Testament by our Lord and Savior. Biblically and historically the Trinity was never taught as also evidenced in the New Testament. The Trinity is a useless Doctrine based solely on the misunderstanding and confusion of men. It is time for Christians to free themselves from the doctrines of men. The Son of God declared: “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58). YAH is the meaning of I AM. By this statement, Christ told the Jews that He is their God, the very God of Israel, which is why He claimed to be their only God to the glory of His God and Father. Not to take this statement made in John 8:58 as true in that He the Father is greater than He, the Son of God, is equivalent to calling Christ a liar. Based on everything presented here, the statement by churches that one must believe in the Trinity in order to be saved is the highest form of legalism. But doesn’t Elohim prove the Trinity, after all, it is plural? No. Elohim means Gods. The Trinity is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is God, and yet not three Gods [Elohim], One God [Eloah, or EL]. The true definition of Elohim is “the God of gods” (Deuteronomy 10:17).
