The way you laughed when the grandson called her a Dirty Anchor Baby! 😂🤣😂🤣
And, it was an ad lib by the actor that was almost missed.
Yeah! But Michael Shannon caught it and made sure Rian Johnson got it on camera.😊@@Mark-xx3gh
I wonder if that line will be included to j version of Detroit
Doslshp
Bydolos😊
“Shut up! Let him cook! You’ve been Scooby Doo’d b**ch!” 😂😂
The “Dirty anchor baby” comment that got you was actually ad-libbed by the actor. It was missed at first, but Michael Shannon heard it and told the director that he had a golden line.

This cast is STACKED. And I love the homage of Agatha Christie old mystery style movies/stories.
Glass onion is also a lot of fun. Edward Norton is in that one.
Fun fact; Chris Evans said the hardest part of this role was pretending he didn’t like the dogs jumping on him cause he loves dogs so much 😂
I love you saying STFU with every actor when they show up on screen 😂
Chris Evans is the best 😎
22:14 I can’t stop laughing about this. The little scare and shut ups are killing me
There's a deleted scene that explains why Walt has the cane and the boot. He managed to get in debt to the mob and they explained to him why it's bad to get behind. That's why he's so desperate for his dad to let him sell the rights to film adaptations.
I dont love that because it makes Walts motivation survival rather than pure greed, making him much more likeable.
That's a top tier reaction right there! J's excitement throughout this one was infectious. I never thought I'd see J wishing for a character to puke on someone!
He wouldn't have been able to watch that or to look at his face afterwards a year ago! lol This time he was just telling him he had a little something on his face ;)
What a fun romp, and the cast is just great. Love seeing Chris Evans being a dick again, Daniel Craig is a darn riot and he and Ana De Armas have great chemistry (awesome seeing them in Bond too after this), and the supporting cast all play there roles so well. Michael Shannon asking the grandmother if she wants to eat kills me every time.
Wouldn't consider this a romp but agree with everything else you said
Chris Evans is just being himself in these types of roles. The Gray Man is another good example 😂
"He got Scooby-Doo'd" had me rolling. If you like this, another great mystery movie I recommend is The Bone Collector with Denzel Washington.
Daniel Craig is doing a more old fashioned southern gentleman accent. His character is a Louisiana French southerner.
26:31
Man, that is the best laugh I've heard in a long time 😂😂😂
“Girl get out the car, pick it up and run!!” 😂😂😂
Someone else mentioned Kenneth Branagh's Hercule Poirot movies (Murder on the Orient Express, Death on the Nile, A Haunting in Venice) which I would also recommend if you liked this. Another would be Guy Ritchie films (Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and RocknRolla to name a few) if you haven't seen them. I love revisiting movies I enjoyed through your eyes its a treat every time one of my favorites come up.
First time I see a first time viewer catch on to the change in expression in the painting! Great reaction!
The jump with the dog!😂😂😂😂I had to rewind that like 6 times!😂😂😂😂❤️
And the way he kept telling us to Shut Up! 😂😂😂
@@joellenglass2344 he is simply the best! ❤️
This one and the sequel are fun movies, for me anyway. My most recent favorites are the latest remake of "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Death on the Nile". I appreciate films that try to keep a certain amount of "hard to define class" that's completely absent from most of the mass produced garbage Hollywood likes to keep throwing at us now-a-days. I realize that i must sound like an old man, but im only 47.
I'm 38 and I completely agree with you. I love the mystery and the class of these films and it's something that's painfully missing from mainstream cinema today.
I remember finding those golden age movies when I was 6 and falling in love with them. I enjoy a modern film that gives me a taste of it. I don't know if you are a fan of the old monster movies, but if you are, and you haven't seen Marvel's Werewolf by Night, I would recommend. It was a very nice homage.
Knives Out is such a blast. I never get tired of seeing people react to it. 😃
What is it that amuses me so every time the "Please Stand By" screen and music comes on?! You guys are awesome, and I could not love this channel anymore than I do! ❤
24:45 - The hope
24:50 - The expectation
25:10 - The reaction
25:35 - The celebration
😂
Can't even start to say how much fun it was to watch you lose it at "Dirty Anchor Baby"
I am so mad that the notification bell didn't work -- I would have loved to see this live. Your reaction was hysterical!! I was grinning ear to ear the whole time. I am SO glad that you liked this movie. It's such a gem!
Knew this video would be full of “Shut the f*ck up!”s 😂😂😂
Oh I'm looking forward to your Glass Onion reaction! Another stacked cast & blend of humor & mystery
I enjoyed your reaction. I loved seeing Chris Evan be bad. " He grew up in Detroit" You are so 😂
"What kind of accent is he doing?"
Uh, that would be straight up Foghorn Leghorn.🐔
This just became my favorite reaction on your channel! I loved it from start to finish! 😂🤣😂
"I know that's not my baby mama..."
I can't XD... which movie did she become J's baby mama, y'all? I must've missed that :D
Any of them lol - J
@@EOMReacts oh, ofc.. my bad 🤣
take a shot everytime J says "shut the f up." drunk in 5 minutes! ahhahahahh
Happy Monday! Love Everything about this movie & the follow up Glass Onion Daniel Craig is Phenomenal as Benoit Blanc ❤❤❤ Hope you had an Amazing Birthday Weekend...
I love Knives Out. A very smart mystery. I think the follow up thought it was smarter than it was. I didn't like it at all, although I hope they keep going.
All the little birds on J bird street love to hear J yell shut the fuc up
Don Johnson is a highly under rated actor IMO. I feel like he deserves many more rolls.
1. He’s considered to be one of the best tv actors ever so he’s not underrated
2. Its roles
He plays a great douchebag
LOL! Loooooved laughing with you at 27m about "dirty anchor-baby" LOL! So if you liked this then you'll love the next one too (Glass Onion) which is give/or take as good and then I hear there is a third one possibly in the works. Also, if you like seeing Chris Evans as a total D*CK, you need to watch the Grey Man with him and Ryan Gosling. AMAZINGLY high-quality and fun action movie! Can't wait to see your reactions to the above!
Man, Nobody writes high-class douchebaggery like Rian Johnson. I'd love t see Jay's reactions to his other films, like Brick, The Brothers Bloom, and Looper.
A phenomenal film. Loved your reaction! Hearing Daniel Craig talk with that Louisiana accent is weird at first, but you can tell he loved this role after being Bond. You gotta do Glass Onion next. Please!
One of the funniest murder mystery movies ever made!
It has a crazy twist that I didn't see coming!
I love this, but the sick part gets me, as genius as it is lol. You like these kind of films? Agree Murder on the orient express by Kenneth Branagh is amazing, with Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Daisy Ridley, Michelle Pfeiffer and more and then next with him is Death on the Nile with more famous actors than I can name lol and A haunting in Venice is good as well, the latest one and third one from this year. Kenneth plays Poirot really well imo.
J if you're still curious, that song that played at the end is "Sweet Virginia' by the Rolling Stones. Not sure why they picked it, but it's a great song so who cares.
That was just one more sweet treat at the end of a great film. One of my favorite Stones songs.
26:31 Yet another one to add to my “Break Glass In Case Of Depression” file. There’s no day so bad it can’t be improved at least a little bit by 30 solid seconds of you losing your shit. 😊
At 4:32 😂 Man, I'm with you on Ana de Armas! This was the first movie I recall seeing her in and I was smitten from the get-go.
This movie is pure fun and your reaction made it all the better.
19:14 - “I loved you in 101 Dalmatians” 🤣🤣💀
I can never decide if my fave part of your reactions are when you laugh your butt off or when you jump and then tell us to shut up... lmao The chair dancing is pretty epic, too. Tough choice. lol Love th is movie and your reaction--as always.
Glass Onion is even BETTER! You’re gonna love it!
ftr, "anchor baby" is a racist term used to describe the US-born child of an undocumented immigrant (the parent can't be deported while their US citizen child is a minor, so the child "anchors" them to the US). specifically, it was usually used to describe the children of latino immigrants. while it sounds extremely silly now, there was a time not long ago when people were throwing the term around completely seriously.
I can't get over how much I love your reaction to the dirty anchor baby line. It was so real. Since I found this video earlier tonight, I've watched it like 4 times, and each time, I watch that scene twice because it's so good.
Lol. Happy belated birthday. Spend as much time as needed to thank folks. This isn't the Videogames Award show.
J done said STFU like 100 times during yhis reaction, love it!!!
This film goes hard as hell, I love it. ❤
I cant wait for Glass Onion. Both spectacular im excited for their 3rd film to come out
This came out of nowhere for me and I adored it. Was glad to see you react and comment as you always do. @JL Hope you had a amazing Birthday
I love that the layer was played by Frank Oz. Voice of Yoda, Miss Piggy, and numerous others. Guy pops up in the damndest places.
The family is so self-absorbed. They all proclaim Marta to be like "one of the family," yet are completely aloof and ignorant about her, and regard her with a condescending attitude. But when the Will is read and she inherits everything, they immediately turn on her, and use guilt and veiled threats hoping to manipulate her into giving it all back.
Just wanted to stop by for a thumbs up and leave a comment. Haven't watched this movie yet so I'll come back after I do ✌️
He kept telling her "The game is afoot"...
Blanc is speaking with what sounds like a Cajun accent which I believe is a French dialect in Louisiana. His name sounds French so I think that’s about right
That laugh of yours at 27:00 mark is all time 😂
As a second note, if you like a little mystery, Sherlock by the BBC. Great show.
Thats a tshirt "Quit Puffin' at me!" 😂
Not sure how many times this has been covered already, but this is him tipping his hat to Agatha Christie movies. He's got all these elements that her mysteries are known for -- huge cast of top-notch stars, the location is like a character, several people have a motive -- that kind of stuff. But the BIGGEST similarity, probably, is the eccentric but brilliant detective who is there to MATH!!
And "HOLY MOLY!" math! That's another staple of Agatha Christie mysteries.
Anyway... Rian Johnson CRUSHED it!!
Being a middle aged cinephile I have watched a lot of movies in my life. And this movie is within my top 5 favorites of all time. It is literally a perfect film. That house is it's own character. And the cast is so stacked it needs all the support it can get. I love the scene of the will reading when Jamie Lee Curtis tells off the lawyer. Which is played by the actor/director/puppeteer Frank Oz. Most known for his work with The Muppets and other Jim Henson projects. So essentially, she told YODA to go shove it. LOL.
And if you want a good other romp, the same director ( Rian Johnson) has an earlier film 2005's BRICK. Which is an 80's film noir murder mystery set in a Southern California high school. Or his 2012 sci-fi thriller with Bruce Willis called LOOPER.
And thanks again J for a great reaction. I had so much fun seeing how you were shook by the cast as they were brought on stage one by one. Watching the look of excitement in your face as the story unraveled was so much fun. You're the best, sir. And you deserve all the Red Velvet Oreo's.
I'm a fan of Brick. Rian Johnson said that it's pretty much a 100% boilerplate standard Noir genre film, but with the setting and characters completely foreign to the stereotype. The reason is that Noir films are so iconic, that your mind just shifts into a lazy "neutral" the moment you see the black and white, "dames", "hard-nosed detective", and similar characters so you can't actually experience the movie. That happened to me. I'd never even watched a Noir movie before, but I was so familiar with the stereotypes that I never wanted to. Brick allowed me to see a Noir film with fresh eyes and I got to experience why they became so popular in the first place.
Meg wasn't bad. She was forced into doing what she did. When she calls Marta, you can see her trying not to cry when she hangs up.
She was the only one who treated Marta like an equal, and the family strong-armed her into violating that trust.
If you think it’s weird herring Daniel Craig talk like that you should watch Logan Lucky.
That movie was fkn brilliant I loved it
I LOVE -This movie❤! Great reaction !! Your laughter is contagious!! 😅you’ll love “Glass onion “”too😎
Great movie and I loved your reaction to this, especially that segment where you just lost it with laughter. Always great hearing you truly enjoying something. Great job as always on the edit Blank. Nothing but love and respect!
So you asked for Red Velvet Oreos and a bunch of people sent you some, have a like because your gratitude and enthusiasm is adorable.
Love this movie and the Cast wow.
Glass Onion is equally amazing! You'll love it!
He’s doing the Foghorn Leghorn accent
Now you definitely need to do Glass Onion!
Edit- Hold my pocket! Lol nice
You have the best laugh ever! Holy shit it gets me out of a bad mood!
I live next to several of the locations they filmed this movie at. The restaurant Ransom and Marta are at was The Flat Penny in the town of Clinton, MA... where I lived at the time. The state evidence lab is actually the old Registry of Motor Vehicles in Marlborough, MA... where I used to live and work for about 20 years. And the town where the laundromat is and where they were chasing Marta and Ransom through is Maynard, MA... where I used to party all the time. I know several of the firefighters from the scene at the evidence lab.
I love this movie not only because of all the locations and people, but because it kicks so much ass. Rian Johnson really knows how to cast his films, and he crafts such a great story. This was such a fun time in theaters.
Great reaction J. I'm happy that you finally got some red velvet orio cookies.😀
I think Daniel Craig is supposed to be southern by way of Louisiana. Hence the accent.
Like I needed another reason to Love You, Thank You for acknowledging Miami Vice aka Don Johnson❤ I don't think any reactor I've ever seen do this movie know who he is😢 Miami Vice, Nash Bridges and my Favorite movie of his Harley Davidson & the Malboro Man 1991...
HD and The Marlboro Man was an awesome flick.
I love watching you watch movies. It makes me feel like I am watching it with my sister who lives in another state. Your a darling
I like both a lot but the 2nd one is my favorite
First 10 minutes of the reaction: "SHUT THE F***K UP!" LOLLLLL
Happy birthday!!!
The actress who played Harlan's mother, K Callan, was actually 7 years younger than Christopher Plummer.
Fantastic reaction!!!! You killed it per usual! But I G.O.A.T. you even more for not giving Meg a pass. A lot of reactors don't even mention her treachery. You caught it and got it, which is why you're Goated!!
Incredible movie and it’s just as good seeing it through someone else’s eyes.
I LOVE this film. Star studded cast, everyone brings their A Game. J I knew I was in 4a treat when I saw u were reviewing this. I'm glad u loved it, and I wondered out of everything what was going to make u laugh that infectious uncontrollable laugh of yours⚓😆😆😆😂
I believe the actor you were looking for is named Bill Engvall, blue collar comedy legend.❤
I believe his accent is supposed to be Cajun French, from Louisiana. Not positive, but that’s what it sounds like to me.
Definitely "Southern Fried". Doesn't sound like Cajun to me. More Kentucky or Texas.
@@Deathbird_MitchIt’s not Cajun but it’s still a possible Louisiana accent. I wouldn’t say “authentic” but everyone here talks different.
-Written 20 minutes North of New Orleans. lol
@@alexwinchester495 you must be in St Charles Parish ,right? ...I was raised in Luling...but yeah, my Cajun Grandparents didn't sound like Daniels accent , lol 😂
Great cast and great reaction
This was the best Knives Out review I've seen!
Blanc - voice "The real heist was EOM getting all those Oreos"
The actor playing the will reader is Frank Oz aka Yoda
you're a real one.
now I gotta find these bc u made it sound awesome
lol. “The Circle of Trust” has officially entered J’s lexicon.
“This not a ‘who done it’, this a ‘bitch you done it’” 😂😂😂😂😂
Girl, get out the car, pick it up and run.😂😂😂
Glass Onion gets even better! Cant wait for the third one!
im not a bond movie watcher to this was the first time i had ever heard him speak so i was all good with it haha
I believe Daniel Craig’s accent is called Foghorn Leghorn.
Hey I feel the same way about Ana de Armas.
I love it when J laughs like that. Makes my day better.❤😂
Jay NEEDS to watch "A Bronx Tale." imho
Excellent choice
