Summary: 1* where you buy your seedlings 2* sufficient water 3* how you plant your seedlings; don't dig big holes because water tends to collect stagnant water that pose extreme cold situation that brings about diseases that comes with dampness 4* Care; protect them against fungus and much manure.
For seedlings i agree with you 💯 %.I went to isinya roses and they are selling at 450ksh per tree. Due to the mushrooming of nurseries pliz farmers remember cheap is expensive
Depends on where you are growing them. If it's in dry areas then you will need more water because of moisture loss. Where I am at least 10 lts per week distributed in 3 days intervals during the very dry periods. Remember to mulch and employ all other water conservation techniques.
Is it true that the Hass Avocados won't survive in 35°C temperatures. The maximum the temperature must reach was 35+1° c and the winter temperatures not going below 10°C. Also told that we need to select the cultivars before planting. Please advise.
but please attack those pests, they are spoiling the beauty that those plants had in the previous video ! I see boron attack or maybe am wrong. I am interested in seeing your success story because I have a grafted seedling from Kenya 🙏
Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately we had hailstones last Thursday. The leaves were torn apart. With the very heavy rains going on, no pests survive until the rains are over. They get washed away. Thank you for wishing us success and for being our ardent follower.
That grammar while explaining is so impressive. The education that goes with it is very beneficial to anybody interested in avocado farming like myself. I'm looking forward to watching many of your videos for the purpose of learning.
Good information. Excellent presentation. But to get a few technically important points you are making us bear a painfully long empty speach.

Nice work, and great to see that your plants look like they're strong enough and will survive the damage from the hail

Hi can you say what would be the atmospheric temperature that the tree can bear, is it ok in summers upto 42c
Is it true that the Hass Avocados won't survive in 35°C temperatures. The maximum the temperature must reach was 35+1° c and the winter temperatures not going below 10°C. Also told that we need to select the cultivars before planting. Please advise.
Indeed extreme temperatures won't favor the fruits. Frost on one hand will destroy them while extreme temperatures will bake the fruits.
@@tukuze_matunda what's the maximum temperature your place would reach during peak summers?
@@getbuggs in my farm say the hottest would be between 28 to 30 degrees centigrades.
@@tukuze_matunda thank you.
WHATS HAPPENING TO YOUR LEAVES
Hailstones damage. Now recovered.
Can we please have grafted seedlings sent to the Gambia?
Unfortunately I do not operate a nursery. I source mine from renowned nurseries in Kenya.
Did you find a way to get quality seedlings to Gambia? Also interested.
Yes, am a farmer but can link you up with a trustworthy nursery who often export to Rwanda and Uganda
