I was there in June as well, The first as an IHG member I am now a Diamond Ambassador and have club access and loving it. Your videos always seem so true and honest and nice for me to reflecton.Its videos like yours I have been watching that have made me come out of my comfort zone and enjoy life before I get too old. We go every year and stay in the club section. We’ve never had any issues with the bedding and getting an actual foam pillow. The coffee is not instant and the minibar is always stocked. I guess that’s part of the club package. Great video, glad to have such a thorough review of one of our favorite places!

We have stayed at this resort 9 times, we are a family of four, it is a fantastic family resort with great staff and has been thoroughly relaxing every time., hence 9 visits. Tip: book a club duplex, top floor, club wing, club benefit. 🙂🙂

How do you get so lucky with so few people in the video that is so nice. If I was doing the videos I would have other peoples kids hanging off my camera.
Lots of early mornings and I essentially shoot every property 2-3 times, some clips with multiple takes and then piece together the best of what I have to work with ☺️ Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Many time I’ve stayed there as ambassador I always booked club room ungraded to suite. This area of the Intercon is amazing, quiet and service at that time was wow. In terms of dining if you not stay at the club aera better go out and look for a place for diner, cheaper and tasty.

What do you mean club area ? How is the Lounge access if you have redeemed the annual lounge access reward? Breakfast?
The property certainly didn't disappoint, that is until you got to the "creative pillow" shot then l cracked up laughing! Your sense of humour is golden. I had just had Gado Gado for dinner prior to watching, agreed l can never get enough of it in Bali. Gosh lm 50 this October and l think my First visit to Jimbarin was for the obligatory sunset seafood BBQ about 29yrs ago now l feel really old. I'm more a Breakfast included rather than a massage type person hence why l need a property with a Gym 😉. Thanks for sharing, hope those fingers are not getting worn down by the keyboard 👍
I had a similar feeling yesterday when I landed in Helsinki and realized I hadn't been there in 15+ years, but it still felt so familiar. Oh and the fingers might be bitty stumps by the time I get back from this trip! haha Thanks as always for watching.

I was there 14 years ago, working at the time for Intercontinental Group whilst on holiday. That did get me a nice upgrade to a concierge studio suite, remarkable room, lush and with so many extra's..
Had a full tour of the premises, loved every bit of it. agreed , so well spread out, it's never busy anywhere, and the staff are the mosy typical of Balinese hospitality, professional and super friendly.
Your report brought back many happy memories ! Lush gardens, the fabulous beach, delicious food, twas an experience, and it still seems to be !

Love your hotel reviews and appreciate the honesty and objective commentary. Your videos are so useful for us to decide on which hotel to stay at! It would be even better if you could lift a few of the hot covers at the buffet so we could see more of the food options!
I am trying to do more of a focus on the food. Generally speaking (especially for breakfast buffets), if I don't lift may covers, it means it was all super standard stuff. When I go back to actually get food for myself if I see something that's really authentic or elevated, I'll take additional shots of it and include it in the review. Unfortunately there wasn't too much to rave about at the IC's buffet. Thanks for watching.

I have stayed at this hotel many times as it is my go to hotel in Bali given my top tier status with Intercontinental Hotel Group (i.e., I get a double upgrade), the soft and hard products are excellent and it is close to the airport so no traffic nightmare to get there.
As with your all your videos, you do a great job capturing the feel of of the resort. Compliments on the quality of your video and the exact right panning speed for viewers to get an immersive view.
The hotel has been undergoing refurbishment closing a wing at a time for updating. So I am surprised you were given an older / not refreshed room. I stayed in an updated suite in July and it was brilliant.

Thanks for that Kevin. I have stayed at the hotel before and about to stay again. Thanks for the reminder about the third floor balconies as the last time I stayed I was in the Club Suites. May I say that swim-up pool bars actually are the norm in Bali.

43 coats of paint 😂This is always our first choice and love the pool area and proximity to the beach. We’re off to Bali in a few weeks and this was again on our list but you have helped sway us away with your honest review. To be honest the prices are a little excessive in comparison to many others and it does seem very quiet. I feel it needs a point of difference to give it an edge to give it a more vibrant feel. it has always lacked decent activities and casual dining venues. We shall return but not this time. Great video looking forward to more and hopefully in time for us to decide before we get there. 🙏
Second comment about the price- had to look myself. I’m surprised how much of a difference between what I paid and a dummy booking in November. I’d expect it to be higher as occupancy comes back but wasn’t expecting 60%+ higher 😳

Stayed here for my honeymoon back in 03. Don't remember feeling wowed by it then. I think it look better now. And probably I have different eyes and mindset now than then. Would love to be back for the much needed 2nd honeymoon...

I think you had the same question on the Apurva video? My mistake if I'm wrong. Anyway, take a look at google maps, they're accurate on the island. If you want proximity to bars, Nusa Dua and Jimbaran are not for you. Look into Kuta, Seminyak, Legian and Sanur. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

I’ll say for me it’s probably 60/40 in favor of Andaz, but it’s a very close match.

Brand new, great rooms, great beds, stylish & trendy (but not TOO trendy) atmosphere, love the breakfast. Due to the layout, is missing the “ocean front resort” atmosphere that I love.
Intercontinental
Classic resort experience, incredible grounds & gardens, in Jimbaran (I prefer over Sanur), great for families. Beds, bedding and breakfast were all poor.

We were just there a couple of weeks ago. Gorgeous property... but in need of some touch-ups (nothing major). The beach, though, was full of garbage, which was disappointing. The Staff was stupendous.

An alternative to the Intercontinental is a villa in the Hotel Indigo. Completely different vibe but the Indigo's a lot newer property.

Nice video! Are there any monkeys at this InterContinental Jimbaran resort? My wife and I are planning on staying here for 3 nights early next year. Should we be concerned? Can you walk around the resort completely monkey-free? Please advise.

They doubled the rates, its now 293 for king and 221 for basic twin. ( who takes a twin ! parting away vacation )
Depends on when you go and when you book of course. I booked a King room for family next year for $227 inclusive.
